Difficulties In Deciding Between Sticking With Console Gaming Or Moving On To Pc Gaming Pros And

How can I learn to aim with a console controller after playing only PC games all my life?

I used to be an avid PC gamer specifically counter strike but more recently thanks to boring life stuff i made the switch to consoles for ease and comfort.I played Halo Reach quite a lot but it was fairly slow paced and i struggled to get the hang of the short analogue sticks. It wasnt until I picked up Titanfall that I really got into my stride.As a much faster game with crazy wall running and a lot of vertical game play I decided that perhaps accuracy wasnt the most important aspect but being able to take in as much of your surroundings as possible and being able to turn on a dime for wall jumping etc. So I experimented with the sensitivity.I started by maxing it out. This was a whole lot of fun but I couldnt hit a barn door with a titanpunch. I didnt die anywhere near as much though since I could out manuever a lot of players (I think this was largely due to movement that not even I could predict).But I persevered for a while until I began to wrestle the damned thing under some sort of control. I got the hang of jumping titans and evem started getting some kills. Once it didnt feel so out of control all I did was dial back the sensitivity gradually until I found a sweet spot that worked for me.After that I became a Titanfall GOD! Well, I got pretty good anyway. Headshots a plenty (not that that matters) and still enough manueverabilty to not be taken down so easily.Ive done this with almost all fps games since and I am now a somewhat competant player.Halo 5 has some particularly good settings to play with and help get the hang of things.Hope this helps. How can I be better at playing FIFA games in professional, world class and legendary difficulty level?

I normally play at legendary mode and almost exclusively on FIFA Ultimate Team. First, you should get yourself the latest FIFA, each FIFA plays a little differently and the mechanics are different.To beat professional and above, you need to improve your passing game. String multiple passes together, take note of player positions and runs. Passes in a zig zag fashion (sort of like a W shape) between wing backs, midfielders, wingers, strikers can easily split the defence. At high difficulty levels, the AI out sprint you, out muscle you, out tackle you, out-everything you. The best way is to pass your way through.Learn how to shield against tackles. Use L2 or LT to shield against defenders running up against you. Your player will actively put himself between the oncoming tackler and the ball. Very very useful at high difficulties.Perfect your sliding tackles. Standard tackles are easily fended off by AI at high difficulty levels because they have perfect shielding timing. Slides are often more useful to stop players in their tracks.Lobbed through balls. When you spot a player run, press L1 or LB and through pass to deliver a lobbed through ball. It'll go over the defence. It is less effective in FIFA15 but still overpowered as hell. One trick is to use the 1-2 pass (L1 or LB and pass). The player will pass the ball and start making a forward run. Timing your lobbed through ball right and you'll split the defence.Finesse shot is always better in the box. They are basically curled shots that will curl out of the keeper's reach. Press R1 or RB and shoot to do a finesse shot. Angle your player run so he's facing the far post.Always shoot with player's strong foot. Create angles where your players can shoot with his stronger foot. It'll improve the shot power and accuracy.Learn skill moves. It is not as difficult as it sounds. The most basic skill move (2 star skill) is actually the most useful. Flick the right stick in the opposite direction that you are planning to run to (e.g. flick right stick left, then push left stick right). The player will do a left feint then turn right while maintaining his speed. Learn this and you get pass defenders with ease.
