Can babysitters spank children?
i asked i 21 year old brother to babysit my 7 year old twins 2 hours later they were saying that my brother spank them and i told him not to do that before i left and when i got home it was true and he said that they need more discipline and they do get discipline but it had being a single dad at age 25

if she can't get proper help then she should stop working. its not fair for her to put on you at all, neither is it fair for her baby. you and your husband should be enjoying his days off as a family. I have 3 children similar ages to yours and its hard enough giving them the attention and time they deserve without having another child ( be it family) to look after. I would explain to her that you dont mind babysitiing every now and again but you want to develop relations with your children. The older two are at a key age of developing jealousy and insecurites around new arrivals. You need to keep the bond with your children, and your sister in law needs to either look at making changes to her work or her child care. If she wants to work and put the baby into a nursery she would get most of the fees paid for b y working tax credits if she doesnt earn loads! x
What is the worst experience you have had with a babysitter?
This happened when I was young, maybe 11. My parents had gone out of town for the night, so I had to go stay at my babysitters house. She was 16 and honestly really pretty. Lets call her Sophia. Our parents were friends, and they had gone out of town together, so it was just the two of us that night. The night I was there, I went up to her bathroom to take a shower. I left my clothes on the bathroom floor, along with my pair of pajamas for the night, and as I later learned, her dog had got into the bathroom and taken my clothes. The worst part was when the dog snuck out, he left the door open, and I didn’t even notice it until Sophia walked by, and asked me if I always shower with the door open. I turned and saw her smiling, trying hard not to laugh, and I asked her to close the door. She did, and then she went back downstairs. I got out of the shower to change, and saw my clothes were gone. At that moment, Sophia yelled up to me that her dog had torn my clothes to shreads. I was stranded in her bathroom butt naked. It wasn’t my house so I had no extra clothes to change into.I waited around for about an hour in the nude, and the Sophia barged in, and told me I would just have to spend the rest of the night naked. At first I was mad at her for just coming in like that, but then she just told me to come out, because without any clothes, she was going to have to see me naked anyway. She told me to come downstairs or she would tell my parents I wasn’t listening to her. Reluctantly, I walked downstairs with her.We ordered a pizza, and when the delivery woman came, Sophia just went up and opened the door while I was still in view of the doorway, and completely naked. That surprised the pizza lady a bit. Anyway, we ate pizza, watched a movie, and played cards before bed. All while buck naked, with Sophia teasing me every now and then. She had also texted all her friends about it, and sent them picture proof.That was my worst experience with a sitter, and to this day, whenever I see her, she still makes fun of me for that night.
Would you use a male babysitter? ?
Boy that's a hard decision for me to make because I want to say there's nothing wrong with it but when I first saw the question I thought NO right away. Just from the way it makes me so uncomfortable I wouldn't hire a male babysitter.
My husband's brother always drops his daughter off and leaves. My husband goes to work and I end up having to watch her all day along with my son. Would it be wrong to ask him to stop bringing her?
No, it’s not wrong. Either that or give him a bill for childcare. He thinks he is slick getting free babysitting under the guise of “a visit.” Tell him you will ASK him to bring her over when you want a visit, but until then he is not to drop his daughter off again. Tell him if he does you will consider it child abandonment and will call CPS and report him. There is nothing he can do about it but follow your wishes. Nobody wants to be bothered with some kid all day long.I had to do that with a cousin I found out was using drugs and dropping her two kids off at my house for me to watch and leaving them overnight!!! What the heck? Luckily the older kid knew her Dad’s number at work, so we called the ex-husband and I told him to come to get his kids or CPS was my next call. He had to leave work and drive to Oakland to get them but it was not gonna be my problem.
My little brother keeps calling me mom?
He IS your BROTHER! Second...I am sure that no adults are staring at you in disbelief, or wondering why he's calling you mom. Adults realize that toddlers are just learning to talk and associate names with faces, and even grasp the concept. If anyone is staring at you, it's probably because they think you are cute couple of kids, or that big brother is being really grown up and loving his little brother. Don't analyze why people look at you. Most of the time what you think is not what they are thinking. It's all in your head. Keep loving that little man, and he will eventually learn your name. He's not confused...just doesn't know too many words yet. Work with him and teach him. He'll get it soon.
