He asked, I answered, now he's pouting. I thought men liked honesty?
This happened at the end of December. Had a conversation with my FWB, just talking about different things...he said to me, " But I know you think I'm a nice guy.." I didn't answer and he persisted with, " I AM a nice guy, you can't deny that." I just smiled and made myself a drink, he then insisted I answer him and I said, " Fine, no, I don't think you're a "nice guy". I think you're arrogant, selfish, a liar, a bully and you're completely disrespectful of any ones wishes but your own. I'm not saying I'm good and you're bad, but I'm not in denial. You're just as ugly as anyone else on the inside and so am I." He responded with, " How can you even think that?" and I said, " I've watched you lie to you ex more than once, you treat your best friend worse than a dog, you think it's all right to do whatever you want to people as long as you get your way and it's disgusting and funny at the same time." I did say all of that calmly and quietly. After this I broke off all contact with him. Now, last week he asked me to come by and see him again which I did do. He will not let that conversation go. I've told him he asked me to be honest and I was, that's what I think I can't help it if he doesn't like it. The whole time I've known him he's been critical of everything about me and made judgments and assumptions about my life (he has no clue since I really don't discuss it with him, so I just ignore him). The thing is, I'm well aware of what he's trying to do, which is make me into his safety net relationship-wise if his attempts to reconcile with his ex fail. I'm not up for that and I'm not interested in developing this association into anything more than it is which is convenience for both of us. I don't think he's emotionally invested, I think he's just used to having women fall for him hook, line and sinker and his pride won't let him drop this. If he keeps it up, I'm going to have to walk away as I hate conflict which I why I tried to keep my mouth shut in the first place. So why is he asking me to tell the truth if he doesn't really want to hear anything but his ego reflected at him? Can someone really be that blind to what someone thinks about them that they wouldn't have a clue? And should I just lie my butt off to shut him up?

Take sex out of the picture. You'll be amazed at how many men will stick it out, and how many boys will pout and run away. Does your husband pout if you don't have sex when he wants?
I'm not saying it's right - but guys are blown away when the sex they enjoyed before marriage without asking becomes the sex they have to beg for after marriage. Yes 3X a week is great. Unless you got him used to 7X or 14X a week earlier. There are at least 4 things going on here: [1] Time scheduling. 3 AM is stupid. There are better times and you have to talk about and agree on them. He needs to be reminded of and also respect the timing needs of both people. As do you. [2] Sharing chores and responsibilities. You have let him get away with doing nothing, so of *course* he's going to act like a spoiled child - that's how you treat him! (While you continue to allow him to knock you up, by the way - talk about immature.) Tell him his days of a free ride as far as chores and all the household stuff and the kids and lunches and the trash and laundry and emptying the dishwasher are OVER. If he lived alone, he could by god find time to take out the goddamned trash, and the same goes for living with you. Ditto laundry, vacuuming, etc. And he better help with the kids. Period. All that will help with time scheduling and you being too tired. [3] Him waking you up for sex. This is out of bounds. Once a year - maybe. Once a week - no. Tell him if he does it again no sex for one week. I normally *hate* women who use sex as a weapon but that's all he seems to be able to listen to. [4] His pouting. It's partly your fault, but mostly all his fault. Tell him pouting = no sex for a week. Time to man up. Grow a spine. Grow some balls. Be a big boy. Tell him very clearly you like sex but every now and then you are pooped and he has to wait. If he pouts (his huge fault) that means he has gotten results (your fault) but those days are over. Make dates (see time above) so he can pencil in some lovin'. Tell him no joke he is DAMN lucky to be getting sex 3X a week in a marriage. He can ask his friends if he thinks you are kidding.

Do you guys think it's cute when a girl acts stupid?
Highschool. There's a girl in my class, and so many guys like her. But looking at her, she's not all that pretty. Just average. But she always has to be the one not to get the joke, or she'll not get the math and need a guy to lean over her and explain it. She talks in a baby voice, she pouts, she literally clings to others... She drives me insane. Maybe I am a bit jealous because she can act like that and still get all the guys, when I try to be mature and get a mature guy, but it doesn't happen. Do you guys find that attractive? Why?

i have a naturally sweet disposition at school, and I didn't realize that I have a tendency to pout at stuff until I was playing cards with some friends one day and a guy friend of mine walked in. I yelled to him to come join us and he said that he couldn't because he had to go home. Then I guess I pouted a little cause he did the a pouting face back at me in a mocking manner haha So guys, do you think it's cute if a girl pouts sometimes, or just werid?
