Mosquitoes are annoying, especially because they tend to bzzzz near your ears but you can easily get rid of them by staying up all night, trying to kill them…or you just apply some Deet product, problem solved. Not so with bed bugs. They keep biting. Cockroaches are filthy bugs…but they don’t bite! Flies are even filthier. Some of them bite but at least you see/hear them coming. Not so bedbugs. Wasps should be eradicated from the earth as they are irritated without cause and then will sting you 5 times in a row because they like your sweets. Horrors from outer space but run inside or use an electric fly swatter and the alien buggers are annihilated.Not so bed bugs. Even as an experienced pest control officer, considered in Flandres, Belgium + Northern France as just about the best in the field I found bed bugs hard to get rid of. Of course, the unhygienic places where you find them don’t really help but the same could be said about cockroaches and those were rather easy jobs.Only one thing worse: genital lice. Once got them by sleeping in a bed with dirty bed linnen and as D.H. Lawrence put it: they were the worst thing for any soldier to put up with. Spraying a vagina with a synthetic pyrethroid helps but not every woman likes a strange man to do that. And bed bugs bite everywhere so yes, they are the worst by far!through clothing? Go to bed as a fundamentalist muslim woman with heavy duty masochistic clothing: they will crawl underneath and have the night of their live. It’s in muslim homes they are the most frequent in our capital!
Bug Bite Itches So SO Bad!!?
I got bite by something, and i think i am allergic to it, cause my arm is like swelling up, anywaaaay. it itches like no other and i was wondering if anyone knew how to make the itch go away!!!! kthnxbye

Getting bit by "a bug" (which is a very broad, vague term; true bugs are only members of the Order Hemiptera, like stinkbugs) doesn't mean you are going to get a bruise. Bruising of bites totally depends on the person's sensitivity and reaction to the bite. When blood-feeding insects bite, some inject bits of saliva to thin the blood before sucking it back up. Many people have allergic reactions to compounds in that saliva. I know people that have no reaction whatsoever to mosquito bites, not even a little itch, and another person who would get horrible blisters from the same type of bite. You can also bruise if you smack yourself really hard trying to kill that mosquito that is trying to feed on you!
What do I do about severe bug bites?
middle of july had some bites on me thought it was ants they went away. well this month I was getting bit again some and my one friend said it might be bed bugs, they were on my thighs and upper leg on back side. we talked to the apartment office manager and she said bug guy does not come out till the 16th which is today and my friend wanted me to go home for the 2 weeks to my parents house till we find out what bug it is, as we not sure if it bed bugs or fleas. so I came home and all was fine no bites at all, then all of a sudden Monday morning I woke up with the bites all over my foot and on other side of left leg as well and bites going up my leg to it is bad, then Tuesday had more bites and they were bigger. I saw my allergist and he could not tell me what was biting me at all and told me to give it few days but my reg d oc gave me cream for it as it looks like hives. I went to apartment today for bug dude and I was late getting there and he left and I talked to one of the office people and they said he came in checked the book, signed the date for today and went on and sprayed the apartment and he never came back to tell us he found anything, so if it was bed bugs he would have told us and he did not alert us to fleas either so you can go home now yet I do not know what bite me so bad. what kind of bites do I have? and do I believe apartment office when they said bug guy did not find any bugs at all please help? P.S> I am prone to flea bites and react to them always

There are various things to put on it. Aloe would be one. Hand sanitizer makes a good bug bite topical. Looks to me like flea bites. Use a little bug spray in your shoes overnight.
Why do fleas (and other bugs) bite me and nobody else around me?
i had the same problem but its not they just bit me , they bit everyone in the house,i just happened to be very sensitive to the bites i tried many things to ward them; finally the only that deterred them was burt's bees bug repellant; it has castor oil which the fleas cant tolerate; you also have to get rid of the fleas; fleas bombs are ok. sprays work best, it tooks months to get rid of them permanent; treated the cats by giving them baths(they WERE NOT HAPPY, and gave em frontline treatment), i finally figured out my neighbors had old dirty carpet in their yards ,that was where the fleas were coming from and cats go outside so they picked up from there and brought them in to the house; i called the city and my neighbors got fined and threw out the carpet for creating unsanitary conditions it seems obvious the source is your parents cat, the parents bring fleas from the cat into your house; ban them from your house entirely, tell them your treating the house for fleas; show them your legs with the welts if they dont believe you; btw petting the cat is irrelevant, even if you arent near the cat and in the same house, the fleas will find you; dont go to their house either until they treat the cat and their house for fleas, im as serious as a heart attack(in the words of samuel l. jackson), i took drastic measures and after 4 months finally got rid of them; my scars are still fading and its been a months since this happened

What a great question. I went to an allergest for about 8 months, trying to figure that one out. Doctor had no ideal what it might be. I took all the allergry tests to find nothing. The nurse told me it looked like bites to her, so I thought I could have bed bugs. I pulled up the mattress and found a bug, yes a bed bug. I had taken one very exspensive shot (about 2000 dollars by then and I took no more shots. Found the nest and destroyed them with mattress covers.
