So I have to do a report for my social problems class and I was wondering howw exactly can mental illness be defined as a SOCIAL problem I can wrap my brain around how it's a psychological problem..but social problem..not so much. Like..would it be effects on the family of a mentally ill patient..well I'm not too sure.. thank youu
Should I have kids when I have mental health problems?
Personally, I have bipolar disorder and very mild OCD but I would like to have children in the future,.I don't think my mental disorders will bother me from providing my kids what they need but instead I will help them through my experiences so they will become better people and I give them the support I wish I was given by my parents during tough situations . However, some people with major mental disorders are not capable of raising children and I think they first should focus on getting better than having kids that will end up neglected, left with traumas. Remember not to burst out your negative feelings on your children if you decide to have, as they are not responsible for them. Nobody is the perfect parent, though. I wish you the best x
Can goldfish get mental health problems?
My goldfish is pretty old for a goldfish I think, I've had him about 9 years. The last year or so he's become insane. He spends all day and all night flicking his rocks in the air with his nose and then swimming as fast as he can into the walls of his bowls. I thought he might be blind at first but he looks at me when I wave at him, and as I walk around his bowl he tries to follow me, the little cutie. He darts around his bowl like crazy, it's really ******* weird. And he tries to jump out of his bowl a lot too. It's like he is trying to escape but I refuse to believe that he is because I look after him very well and me and him are good buddies. I think he has some sort of mental health problem. Can fish even get them? Thanks!

If mentally ill people have problems over there free will?
I have worked closely with mentally ill and mentally retarded folks, and I can tell you right now, their thoughts and actions are not always their choice. I loved those people from the bottom of my heart, and forgave them for what ever they have done negatively. Mentally ill sometimes hear voices, and unfortunately they think they are supposed to do what that voice tells them to do. They can't help it....there is a driving force inside of them! But be they mentally ill, or retarded, their actions could be the result of a psycho-tropic drug, brain damage from either while in the womb, or some physical tragedy. No one has ever been able to actually know what that very inner core of their minds are really like, because they lack that ability due to brain damage, or the most horendous events sometime in their lives. I always told my co-workers to be very kind to these people, they could be angels unaware to us, meaning they could be a test of faith and mercy sent by God. I would bet every last penny I have, that those people, ill or retarded already have reservations in Heaven! When I look at mental illness, I am not talking about people like Scott Peterson, or Ted Bundy, they are criminally insane, meaning they have no consience for their deeds. The mental illness I am referring to is those that have suffered severe abuse, both physically and mentally, and they basically "shut down" While caring for these people, I couldn't help but to observe how they tried to imitate what a mentally healthy person does. You can see it in their eyes. They want to so bad, but can't. So in essence, I believe God looks down on them with mercy! You wouldn't believe the physical abuse these poor unpriviledged folks must endure.

those of you who do know her,her whole family and her friends can you please tell me about her personally and i dont give a flying fu*k about how big her a$$ is and im not fat or jealous.why im asking you that,because 1.her eyes look crazy,i mean,it look like the sloth eyes from the goonies 2.her voice sound like bobcat goldwait 3.she lying about her own age but her real age is 32,not 20-something 4.i heard somebody on the spanish fourm that she lied on national tv about herself but she used to be a stripper 5.its the way she smile,she smile like sloth from the goonies and sometimes,she got a gummy smile,not a million dollar smile thats what she call her smile(please!) 6.no singers or female rappers dont show their a$$es on their cd covers but she do(thats being too fake) 7.she always deny about herself so she want everybody to believe her like everytime they was talking about her was going out with the celebrity guys but she always said,"thats a rumor".8.shes using her butt for a fame
