Do I Have Potential To Be A Good Rapper Im A Beginner

How can one become a good rapper?

Multiple things can make a good rapper. Some rappers have a voice that draws you in from the start (ex. Method Man, Je’kob). This isn’t really something you can control very much, but it gives an advantage to those that have a great voice.Relatability. If you feel a connection with a rapper’s lyrics, then you’ll want to keep listening to them. Likewise, if you’re the rapper and you’re looking to engage or impact your audience, you need to be able to relate to them.Storytelling. Rap is a great tool for telling stories and being able to create vivid imagery in your music is a great skill to have (see: GBKW by Murs).Versatility. I mean more than one thing by this. If you’re exclusively a punchline rapper, people will eventually get bored of you. If you exclusively storytell, then people will eventually get bored of you. If you only make heartfelt music, people will eventually get bored of you (in my own personal experience, I loved NF’s first two albums, but by Perception, he was rehashing the same 3 or 4 messages in most of his music and it got old to me; on the other hand, that album charted very well).Versatility also means being able to switch up how you rap. If you rap in the same cadence at the same tempo in every single one of your songs, people will get bored fast. On KB’s newest album, Today We Rebel, he demonstrated this very well. He switched up styles, flow, cadence, etc. throughout the album, and sometimes even multiple times within a song!Have something to say. Rappers like Flo Rida never have an actual message, and that’s why they’re weak artists. You need to be able to convey a message, whatever you decide that message is (social issues, personal issues, love, substance abuse, sex, etc.)Clever lyrics. Being able to write memorable punchlines, double entendres, and similes and metaphors will draw people in and make people remember your music. You don’t have to be a master at all of these things to be a good rapper, but you should have at least a few of these points to be considered good, in my opinion.

Is it to late to start rapping at 18?

I have experience with other music and playing guitar but i want to become a really good rapper and possibly become professional or make a career out of it. since being involved in music is my dream and cant picture myself doing anything else.(i know it probably sounds like im doing it for the money and get rich but its not like that at all) i just want to make a living of something i love to do since i lost intrest in guitar i wanna start rapping.the problem is that im 18 years old and i feel its to late to learn, because i spent like 3 years learning guitar and people say i got really good in a quick amount of time. i feel like i could possibly do the same for rap if i really tried. im around people who rap so im sort of aware of how to make lines kind of click and connect and ive been messing around trying to freestyle for almost a month now but heres my first verse ever written:

sometimes i think to myself i dont got what it takes. fearing the futures enough, you can understand whats at stake and sweet success is something i might not ever taste. open your eyes so you can see the potential im letting it go to waste. its possible to go somewhere with this but i feel im making a mistake. should i keep my hopes up or am i wasting my time? am i reaching for the stars or aiming to damn high? running from fears while im chasing my dreams, outworn these worn out lyrics, thats what it seams, with no hesitation. you what its like to have to live up to the highest expectations? especially if your the first in the family who fall im stressin. dont judge thinkin im just some rich kid with no excuse for depression. cus ive been there and done that. i aint putting up no act rapping these facts, but will i get good enough to start runnin on these tracks?

i know its not good, please dont judge me. can someone please tell me what i need to do to get better and write better and how to improve quickly? i kinda got lazy towards the end since i couldnt come up with anymore ideas. i dont want anyone to sugar coat anything, but i also dont want anyone dissing saying its horrible without helping me out, but if it really is horrible then tell me to quit cus then its obviously to late to become good. i understand ill have to practice a lot but please tell me if its to late no matter how much i practice.

Is Jadakiss becoming overrated(serious question)?

I like Jadakiss, I think he has a great voice and at times I think he can really shine on some tracks with just merely his presence, but he also has had some pretty good verses. Now with this being said, his discography is seriously lacking and it basically prevents him from being the conversation of a top ten rapper, so whoever is putting him in their top ten is either just uneducated or like you said, seriously overrating him. And I think it's usually a combination of the two, people who overrate him have uneducated opinions. With this being said I can see why people consider him so great though, Jadakiss definitely has an appeal to him (that's, to me, similar to Raekwon in a way, in terms of the rugged, raspy-ness that their voices/subject matter evoke.)

Side note, Jadakiss has only really been in the game for about 15 years. And I don't see how Big Pun is overrated.

How would you rank the members of BTS in terms of dancing ability?

*cough cough*I’m sorry, you want me to rate them by….dance ability???Ahem, well then. Here goes nothing;J-Hope - Hobi is practically a ROBOT IN DISGUISE!!! All of the J-Hope on the street episodes I watched were KILLER BOI!!!!!!Jimin - Chim Chim is like the most emotional dancer in BTS. His audition for Bighit was SO TOUCHING AND INTERESTING!!!!Jungkook - Kookie is a golden maknae for a reason. He can take on a dance by Keone Madrid (Manolo) and he can do almost anything!!!V (Kim Taehyung) - Even though V is one of the BTS members who can’t dance, he for sure picked up a thing or two!!! TAEtae On The Street , Freestyle Dance ㅋㅋSuga (Min Yoongi) - Suga is also a non dancer in BTS but if you haven’t watched the twitter video of savage Suga dancing solo for Best of Me on his birthday, well you have to see a doctor, because he is on FIRE!!!! (Infires/SWAG)Jin (Mr. Worldwide Handsome) - Ahem… Well, he for sure is high on looks and love for his fellow Hyungs, but…. maybe being the “Dancer of Dislocated Elbows” isn’t the best thing for him… or any of us… no offence Jin. I still love you!RM (Rapmonster) - ……….oh dear……… well….. dance prodigy? I guess you’re gonna need a new name, boi! No offence sweetie, but…….just stick to rapping…. you’re still my favourite rapper!!!……..octopus……..?………..not so bad…….uuuummmmmmmOh dear…….So sorry, but I just wanted to show you that…..Good luck ARMY!!!!EXTRAS:……..dat face do…….…..anyone else laughing their soul to death………..?Oh gosh…….Good luck…..again…..

Im 19 years old looking to be a MMA Fighter how many years to be really good & be in UFC?

The honest answer to this question is there is no real answer every single fighter is different.

I fought on the semi-pro circuit for 6 years, I had an amateur record of 9-2 and a semi-pro record of 14-5
Never got a call, never got any interest, I tried out once for TUF and was cut after the grappling portion of the tryouts.

Jon Jones fought on the circuit for 3 months, winning 6 fights and got called up.

Other guys like Nate Quarry are in the circuit for years and years before they get their break and get an opportunity.

Bottom line there is no timeline to get in, you have to either be exceptional at what you do and be an ultra exciting fighter or catch a lucky break.

RHH: Rate the lyrics, im the next tupac?

even better, you're the next soulja boy!

Is it important to know how to read music to play piano?

Im 15 and decided i wanted to take music and my passion as a proffesional career. Most college Music programs require you play an instrument better than average, but not a Prodigy. I want to start on my future and get ahead by taking Piano lessons. Also i make beats and rap, but would rather be a Producer/Beatmaker. Kinda like Kanye West Or better yet Timbaland. So i was wondering is it important to know how to read music in order to play piano?
