If you were asking for recommendations of some books that I have found enjoyable, instructive or enlightening that you might also find meaningful then I would give you a nice long list.But you have used that weasel word “should”.No one can tell you what you should or should not read, or do. Anyone that does is projecting their own beliefs and desires on to you and they might not sit well at all.The idea that at 25 there are certain books that one “should” read, in some absolute sense is nonsense.But having said that, I confess that there are many books I enjoyed around the age of 25 that now, aged over 60, I find infantile and foolish. There are plenty of books that you need to read while you are still young if you are to enjoy them at all.Anyway, what “should”you read? Decide for yourself!

Here are my picks -▪️ Pride and Prejudice - I almost cried when it ended for no other reason except that it had ended. I can never get enough of Elizabeth and Darcy.▪️ Gone with the Wind - I've been trying to get over this book ever since I completed it a couple of years ago. It's soul wrenching.▪️ Eleanor and Park - Their love feels real. It's almost as if their love seeps through the pages and reaches out to you!▪️ Atonement - Not essentially a romance, but Robbie and Cee form one of the best literary couples I've ever come across. Love prevails against all odds? That won’t remain a question anymore.▪️ Books by Nicholas Sparks - He is known as the King of Romance for a reason. Often termed as emotional porn, his stories may not be extraordinary, but they never fail to give you the ‘feels’. The Notebook and A Walk to Remember are some of his best.▪️ Forbidden - This is not your cliche romance. It is romanticized incest. I know it's a heavy matter to take down, but I must say I'm extremely glad I read this book. People need to realize that just because someone's love doesn't fall under the normal society standards doesn't mean their love isn't real. Read this to revise your definition of love.
