Do I Need To Buy Another Copy Of Ff14 If My Ps3 Broken

Can i copy the data from my broken ps3 to a new one?if so, how?

open up the busted ps3 and take out the HDD. then go to a frys or what ever electronics computer store might be in your area and buy a HDD encloser for laptop HDDs which is in the ps3. set that up and plug it into your pc... if nothing happend then sorry your HDD is fried... but if not then it should pop up like a flash drive then just copy the files over. to a flash drive and pop the flash drive into your ps3. you cant get the games back though... sorry your friend has to come back over and allow you to re-dl the games from the ps store again. Hope this helps... GL.

How do I get a copy of GTA IV???

Well you must be completely sure that you will not be affected by it, and you are not a violent person and the game will not encourage you to be violent. In all, that you are not that impressionistic to follow what the game 'taught' you.

Apart from that, convince her that the game is loads of fun, is very value for money ('I'll never need to buy another game for ages again! This game can keep me busy for 150hrs!'). If she is worried you'll go to the stripclub, tell her that you will not (and you should stick to your word). If she is worried about letting you shoot people with guns, then let her know you are not that kind of kid.

Most importantly, you must know for sure that you are not that kind of person. That you will not beat people up or whatever, as these games can be rather violent. It's not worth it lying to your mom into buying the game for you, and end up learning from it and committing crimes, screwing your life up. Play the game with an open mind, but also note that certain acts are wrong, and are only for entertainment reasons. With this approach you should not be affected by the game, and you can convince your mom that you will not be, too.

All the best, and good luck. I also believe censorships are stupid, but I guess it can't be helped, since there are loads of stupid people out there who end up having ideas put into their head. You know you're not one, right? ;)

“2 partitions in HDD that I can’t access” is a bit ambiguous. If the drive is damaged or corrupted, you might try cleaning it up with “Spinrite” from Gibson Research, a unique tool for reading data from hard drives that are partially defective. It is a fairly old program, and does not seem to work correctly on drives of 1 terabyte or more, but it has worked magic for me in the past, recovering all the info off drives that were very troubled. You did not specify what format the disk was, but Spinrite runs from a bootable CD and can work any disk, regardless of its format. If the drive is healthy and you simply need to clone it, another free tool worth trying is EaseUs ToDo backup, which is available in a free edition, or the very similar Macrium Reflect, which also has a free edition.EaseUs ToDo backup, an Macrium Reflect are Windows programs.

I assume you have the Yellow Light of Death, are out of warranty, haven't backed up with PS+ and this is a disaster. The bad news is Playstation Saves are locked to your console. The good news is that your games can be redownloaded by a new console but I'm sorry, your Saves may be lost.If you're backing up to a non-proprietary USB Drive, you must format it as FAT32 and you can't have a partition on the drive. The drive should either be less than 1 TB, in which case you can format in Windows XP/7 from the command prompt, or use a free tool like Verbatim FAT32 at Page on verbatim.com, or format on MAC OS X using MS-DOS file system in Disk Utility. If the console won't start at all any more, there's still hope, it's often due to cracks in solder joints. You may be able to "reflow" the motherboard by, believe it or not, baking it in a kitchen oven at 450°F/230°C for 10 minutes, remelting the solder joints without harming other components. Presto! Reassemble the PS3 and if you can restart it, it doesn't take very long for you to back up your saves immediately. A step by step description of disassembling a PS3 and reflowing is Here. Good luck!

FFXIV Registration Code for PSN Purchase?

Hi, so I recently got the Beta for Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn, preordered it for the ps3 (Purchased Via Playstation Store), and now in the game's news it says that we'll have to register the game with a code provided via email, or something of the like. So far I haven't recieved an Email from either Square Enix Or Sony Entertainment about the code, since my email for both accounts are the same thankfully. My initial question is, do the Playstation 3 users even Get a registration code? Or is it just automatically put through by PSN, or even free subscription altogether, after the initial purchase of the game? Because at the moment I am so lost, and I don't want anything to happen to the account i have for the game.

If anyone could help me find out what the deal is with this, it would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks! :)

Is it legal to download an iso to replace a broken disc if you own the game already?

I'm not sure what happened to it (I might have set something heavy on it or something) but my Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer game disc is so badly cracked I can't play it anymore. My own stupid fault, really. Do I really need to buy another copy of the game just to get a working disc, or can I legally download an iso file to replace it? Someone told me that that's supposed to be what iso files are for, but I wanted to be sure. I have the game's original box, registered it with Atari, everything. But if I have to pay thirty dollars AGAIN for a game I already bought, I'll probably just wind up scrapping the game completely.

Not necessarily. What you do need is an SSD or and HDD. At least one of them. You can still use both of them, and it's also recommended.SSD drives are far faster than HDD drives. However, most SSD drives hold nowhere near as much capacity as an HDD. At least, not affordably. From what I understand, most people have their SSD as their (C:) drive, which they install Windows and their games on. Then they put everything else on their separate HDD drive. But you don't need to use both. You can still get by with either one.If you use an HDD, your computer won't be as fast, but you will have loads of storage space. If you use an SSD, your computer will be blazing fast, but unless you invest loads of money into your SSD, you won't have much storage space. Things like OneDrive or Google Drive may become useful in this situation.

You can NOT burn a PS3 game into a normal DVD. If you want to do you need a jailbreak PS3 which you can get the downloadable games as well as modded ones. Your CFW version should be matched with the CFW version of jailbreak one. Here is the link to jailbreak ps3PS3 4.78 Jailbreak Here is the link to jailbreak as well as install a game

How can i transfer my data from one ps3 hdd to another?

How broken is your PS3? Just so we're clear, the PS3 must be able to come on if you want to transfer data. So if your PS3 has the Yellow Light, you are basically screwed.

The easiest way is to use an external hard drive formatted to FAT32. Manually copy your music, photos, videos, and game saves to the hard drive. Depending on how much you have of each, you might just need to use a USB flash drive.

Forget about copying anything from the PSN; just redownload that stuff.

Reinstall any disc games and updates.

Things connected to the PSN are on online servers and don't get lost, including game online stats, buddy list, trophies, and PSN purchases/downloaded content.

EDIT: You heard wrong. I don't see how any sort of connection to a computer will work if the console itself will not stay on, which is why I said you are basically screwed if that was the case. Only thing I could recommend is to buy a 2.5 hard drive enclosure for the PS3 hard drive to turn it into an external one, but still not a guarantee the PC will read it.

FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, account/payment question?

I'll do my best to answer your questions:

1- You will require 2 copies of the game for PS3. Each registration code from each copy of the game can only be linked to one PSN account (see answer to next question as to why this is the case)

2- You cannot access the same account on two platforms at the same time nor can you access the same PSN account simulltaneously (PS3 or PC) As such you will all have to create different accounts and therefore different payment plans if you wish to play together as well

As a note, character costs are not the same as they were in FFXIV 1.0 in that you do not pay for additional characters individually: There are 2 tiers of subscription. an entry level sub that gives you one character with a maximum of 8 and a standard that gives you 8 per server with a max of 4ß characters. The more months you pay in advance, the lower the subscription.
