Do I Need To Wait A Certain Amount Of Time After I Replaced The Battery

How long does it take for an iPhone battery replacement if I take it into an Apple Store?

Writing my experience from India, i took my phone to the apple authorized service center on 13th Jan. They ran diagnostics on my phone and told me about the present state of the battery of my iPhone 6.Later they told that they don’t have a spare new battery of this phone and they will need to import it from somewhere. They promised me that i will get a call from them once they arrange the battery. I've submitted Rs.500 and the rest (2100 in total) when i actually collect it. Since i am still waiting, but ive asked them how much time it takes and they said it will take max 1 hr and i can take my phone back at the same visit after they change the battery. They gave me a time period of around 15–20 days, of which 11 days are over but i am not eager and i know it was just an approximation. but i am expecting it to be swapped in feb starting.

Should i replace my car battery?

i had my car oil changed at walmart. after that, they recommended me to replace my car battery. well, i haven't changed the battery for like 4 years, but i never really have any problems with starting my car(even right now in the winter, i am living in Minnesota, it's quite cold here), So, my questions are: should i listen them to replace my car battery now? or wait until i meet some battery troubles?

thank you in advance

Do you electively replace a car battery at a certain point or wait for it to fail?

Experts don't agree, but my opinion is that you burden the alternator more and more as the battery ages. Then you may end up replacing an expensive alternator too in addition to the battery which I recommend changing after no more than 5 years service. Road service can be expensive nowadays, especially on a weekend trip with your car on vacation when the battery and alternator need to be replaced in some small town somewhere!

Can a vehicle's airbag deploy after the battery has been removed?

I need to replace a 'multi-function switch' (turn signal level) that is attacked to the core of my steering column on my 1998 Chrysler Concorde.

To get to it, I need to take the steering wheel off.
I've been told that it can be a pretty difficult task, and I have limited-to-no experience on car work. (Anyone giving the stupid usual "You could, but just be smart and take it to a dealer - it's not worth it to risk it yourself" answer will be voted thumbs down multiple times--I'm doing this myself, and that's that).

I am wondering if my vehicle's airbags may accidentally deploy, even after I've disconnected my vehicle's car battery. Like I said, I need to take the steering wheel off, so it could be a tricky situation. But I've been told by one mechanic that there's virtually no way airbags can deploy without the vehicle's battery being attached.

Is this true?

If my car battery is dead an the car wont start can i jus wait a while and it will start?

wheres the power coming from genius? if its dead, its dead. unless you discovered a miracle recharging battery, you need a jump start. now if your car is a standard (stick) shift, you can get it rolling put it in gear and pop the clutch to get it started. but if youre in an automatic, youll need a jump.

What to do after installing a new battery?

I had my car's battery replaced with a new battery yesterday at the mechanic.

I drove around for about 30 mins to make sure it ran properly (the other night while driving home my car slowed down quickly and all of my dashboard lights came on. About 20 mins later, my car still would not work and all of my lights flickered off. I had it towed to my mechanics who said it was not the alternator but a dead battery)

I last parked my car after getting it from the mechanics at 530p yesterday. This morning, i went to start it (830am at 60 degrees outside) and at first it came on then went off with all of the lights on dashboard again. Then i re started and it stayed on.

Only this time, none of the lights fickered but it almost seems like my car is trying to "keep up" with the engine.,

Since its a brand new battery, and I have only driven my car for about 30 mins on a new battery yesterday afternoon and its been cold outside overnight, should I let my car run for awhile?

Should your car feel like this in the early cold mornings after a new battery replacement?

i have a 2010 nissan sentra with 70,000 miles. I purchased it in sept. 2011, Before that, it was a rental car with about 38,000 miles on it.

thanks!

MY CAR FAILED INSPECTION BECAUSE OF A NEW BATTERY??

I had a brand new AAA battery put in my car. I then took my car to a mechanic to have it looked over completely and I had a great deal of work put into it. 2001 Toyota Corolla with 74,000 miles on it. They took my car to be inspected and it came back with a Rejection sticker on it. I was told not to worry at all. They said because it was a brand new AAA battery that I had to put 100 miles on the car in order for something (sorry I don't know what) to reset itself so that it could be hooked up to the computer. I didn't even get a print out because they could not inspect it. I think this is BS. I think the reason for the rejection was because by the time they finally finished fixing my car it was after 5PM on the evening before Thanksgiving and the inspection station they took it to was either closed or not doing inspections at that time. Can anybody out there let me know if they ever heard of a car not being able to be inspected because it had a brand new battery and 100 miles had to be put on the car before it could be inspected?????

Thanks!
