Do Liberals Hate To Hear About The 5 1/2 Million And Growing That Lost Their Insurance Due To Obama

Why are some liberals so condescending toward Trump supporters? Do they really feel they are superior?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic. It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people. So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative. It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”

Why didn't Ron Paul win the Republican nomination?

1. Dr. Paul won't spread his buttcheeks for Goldman Sachs the way the Obamneys do.

2. He didn't have enough money or get enough love from the liberal and neo-con mainstream media.

3. A lot of people agree with him on 80% of his stuff, but get butthurt on one issue like the wars or the gold standard, so they throw the baby out with the bathwater, call him a fringe kook, and jump on the bandwagons of the Safe and Popular candidates.

4. Dr. Paul is a old man who isn't CEO pretty like Mittens or a Young Hip Person of Diversity like 0bama, so voters to whom image is everything reject him for that. You can blame a lot of this on television.

If you don't want to eat your ballot, there's also Gary Johnson or Virgil Goode. As for the "they won't win" $#!+, it's an election, not a MFing horse race. You don't get a prize for predicting the winner.

What would America be like if liberals always got their way and the Democrats were always the majority in the government?

When it happened between 2008–2012, America had a U3 unemployment rate of 10%, a pathetic labour participation rate and economic growth was restricted to between 1–2%. Energy prices were rising, and families were feeling the pinch of inflation, although the statistical rate of inflation was artificially low by failing to include many items in the “bucket” of commodities measured by statisticians.Millions of people were about to lose their health insurance and the doctors who provided their healthcare, due to the imposition of “Obamacare”, and post 2010, insurance premiums began rising drastically. Many people also began losing jobs, full time employment or benefits from work due to the nature of Obamacare and the steps employers needed to avoid it (or be hammered with unsustainable costs).Regulatory burdens on business would be increased, and business would collectively stop investing in order to avoid the uncertainty surrounding investment decisions. A few, politically well connected businesses would be raking in billions of dollars through government handouts and crony capitalism. But that is only one example, you might say. Fair enough. After the “crash” of 1929, we had another prolonged period of “Liberals” being in charge of the government. The economy contracted massively, millions of people were unemployed for prolonged periods of time and hardships abounded. Continuous government meddling in the economy caused business investments to contract, to the point that the worst year of the Great Depression was 1938, almost a full decade after the “crash”. Historian Amity Shlaes suggests the Great Depression was extended by up to seven years by the actions of FDR and his “Brain Trust”. Compare this too the rapid recovery of the Great Depression of 1921. Never heard of it? That’s because President Coolidge simply allowed the markets to clear, without any form of government intervention at all.Only 2 data points, you say?We can look at the actions of the Wilson Administration, and the vicious attacks on the rights of Americans, the reimposition of segregation and the rapid expansion of government agencies and controls, all in open defiance of the US Constitution, but pushed through as an expedient measure during the Great War.So overall, I doubt you or I would like it if the liberals got their way and the Democrats were always the majority in government.
