Do Mercenaries Have Moab Bombs

How is war profitable?

bullets don't grow on trees...someone has to design the things used to wage war...someone has to make those things...someone has to sell the materials for those things...and so on...war puts people to work. and makes BAD PEOPLE VERY F-ING RICH....when you have to rebuild a nation you just bombed...

Would a MOAB be effective against the modern defenders of a medieval castle?

The MOAB is very effective - it has a blast area of a mile, but it is also very expensive - and so heavy that I’d hate to have to pay for excess baggage for it. The medieval castle couldn’t survive it - that is, what would be left wouldn’t be worth defending. One must remember that for all their strong defences, most (I was told the figure was over 90%) castles fell to siege by treachery… some poorly-paid gatekeeper who let the enemy in.The great fortresses that protected Belgium could not withstand the huge shells of the railway gun, Big Bertha, that destroyed them in the autumn of 1914. However, conventional artillery could not destroy the fortresses that surrounded Verdun. In WWII bombers could not carry very heavy bombs (compared to MOAB), so the destruction of the fortified Abbey of Monte Casino in Italy took an enormous amount of effort, time and lives.Medieval castles were not so secretive as later fortresses in the age of explosives, but nevertheless they had plenty of secure areas in underground chambers and stores to hold out. However, I doubt whether a MOAB would be worth surviving. But the expense of MOAB is a factor. Even the US Army would be reluctant to use a MOAB unless it was really necessary (unless you are Mr Trump playing with his toys). The best way to fend off the deployment of MOAB would be for the defenders to conceal themselves in the building, show no exterior signs of life, leave the gate wide open and wait. Sooner or later the curious enemy will make it up the hill and over the moat, and once in courtyard you slaughter them!

What would happen if I built a battle droid army?

I’m guessing that you mean battle droids a la Star Wars Trade Federation droids.Sourcing materials strong enough and light enough to resist quite a large amount of small arms fire, able to move at a decent pace and protect the vital areas without unbalancing is nigh-impossible. Creating an AI to control and operate these with little to no interruption is impossible.Even if you could do all that, and either equip them with regular or SW-style laser/blaster rifles there's still the problem of EMP weapons, hacking, jammers etc is going to be an issue.Putting all those problems aside, just creating this level of tech that works is going to make you a multi-billionaire. Building a few droids for personal or exclusive sale, so to Heads of State and other VIPs, ok. Build into the hundreds or thousands, ok, maybe you're setting up a major market for private security droids, still going to unsettle a few people. When you start making tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions even, nations are going to get worried. Any assets on their territory will be seized, forcefully if needs must and the technology stripped out and repurposed. Attempts on your life may be made, either by mercenary groups, assassins, or Special Forces. If you become a serious threat to the world order, don't be surprised if a MOAB gets dropped on you or tanks roll into your mansion/bunker.

Apart from nuclear weapons, what are some of the most destructive tools used in warfare?

IslamIslamic Republic of Iran goes on to finance terrorism and terrorist groups over the next ten to twenty years. It seems that the regime of the Iranian ayatollahs uses terrorism to survive the dictatorial system that has been created in Iran. Another reason to finance terrorism is to buy time، Why do they need to by time? Yes, of course, for the production and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and more advanced ICBM.Looking at the economic situation inside Iran, it can easily be concluded that improving the livelihoods of the Iranian people is not at the top priorities of Iran's ayatollah regime. They (The regime of the Ayatollahs) completely abandoned Iraniran people from their economic calculations. Therefore, it can be concluded that the regime of the Ayatollahs in Iran has had an undeclared war. Why undeclared war? Because they want to achieve their strategic goals silently. They do not want to provoke the United States, for a military strike against Iran (This is one of the key goals of the Iranian regime). They want to build nuclear weapons and missiles, like North Korea, And given the bad economic conditions that have been created in Iran, it can be concluded that they are very close to their goal, if they have not already reached it.Both the Obama administration and the Trump administration were wrong to replace diplomacy with war, the only possible solution to the problems that the Iranian regime has created, was the war.The diplomatic approaches towards a regime that launches a terrorist group every week is pretty much like a jok, which is not funny at all.So, in the next decade, the Iranian regime will achieve its goals, or the United States will stop them, And the era of dialogue, diplomacy and negotiation with the Iranian regime has come to an end.Iran has a richly talented population, and rich Persian culture. But instead of unleashing both and enabling Iran’s youth to realize their full potential — and making the country influential that way — the ayatollahs are suppressing those talents at home and unleashing the power of Shiite mercenaries on Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, and compelling influence that way instead.By Thomas L. What is the most badass military aircraft in your opinion, and why?

I very much like the Tupolew Tu-95 strategic bomber also known by its NATO reporting name “Bear”. It made its maiden flight in 1952 and is still in service with Russia as a cruise missile carrier and anti submarine plane.I mean just look at those 4 turboprop engines driving the contra-rotating propellers with a whopping 15.000 hp on each engine. With those engines the plane can reach a top speed of 930 km/h making it the fastest propeller driven aircraft in the world (The US built XF-84H would have had the potential to fly faster than this but reportedly never exceeded 830 km/h due to stability problems at such speeds).Along with the XF-84H it is said to be the loudest plane in the world. In fact it is so loud that it can be detected by submarines and underwater sonar sensors. Fighter pilots also reported that they could hear the Bear’s roaring engines over their own.Did I mention that a modified Tu-95 delivered the infamous AN602 “Tsar Bomb”, the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created and was nearly destroyed in the process of doing so?Tu-95V carrying the ginormous AN602 in it’s modified bomb bay.The crew of the aircraft was given a 50% chance of surviving the test. In order to minimize heat damage the entire aircraft was painted in a special reflective coating, which did its job quite well. When the shockwave of the bomb reached the aircraft however it plummeted an entire kilometer before the crew was able to recover and land safely.

If you had $1 trillion to build an air force to protect a small country, what planes would you pick (assuming maintenance, hangars, bases, runways, etc. were taken care of)? Why?

I feel like $1 Trillion wouldn't be enough to support an Air Force, but here it goes nonetheless.F-22A RaptorGive it hate but it’s a fairly good stealth fighter and interceptor.F-15E Strike EagleJust look at the armament. Not only is it multi-purpose, not a single US F-15 has been lost in combat. That’s gotta tell you something.F/A-18E Super HornetA superb all-weather multi-role fighter, it’s also carrier based if need be.F-35B Lightning III know, it’s received some hate. But it’s a VTOL and multi-role stealth aircraft. Bonus points.E/A-18G GrowlerECM Jammer aircraft, for you know, those special not-so-stealthy missions. Plus it disrupts radar and communications :)P-8I PoseidonIf I was a small island country, I think I’d like to have anti-submarine/anti-ship warfare aircraft handy. If not, scratch this.RQ-9 ReaperIt’s an armed drone. *shrugs*MQ-4 Global HawkSurveillance drone and Counter-Intelligence.AH-1Z ViperIt’s a baby Apache attack helicopter :)AH-64D ApacheIt’s honestly only in here for the wow factor. But it was a hell of an attack helicopter. All-weather too.UH-60/MH-60 BlackhawkMulti-purpose transport helicopter that also has a Naval variant and Armed variant. Exceptionally multi-purposed.AH-60 BattlehawkIt’s called a Battlehawk. It sounds, aggressive. While carrying food rations of course.MV-22B OspreyVTOL Transport Aircraft that’s multi-purpose really. It can go anywhere basically. It’s a win-win.CH-47D ChinookHeavy Lift tandem rotor helicopter allowing troop movement, and vehicle movement. Have you seen it lift tanks?AH-6J Little BirdA Scout and Attack helicopter, it’s compact size allows for easy movement, and tactical maneuvering. This should be it. It might exceed the $1 trillion budget. Should weed out the ones that aren't really necessary. It does contain a lot of American aircraft, being American I might be biased.Oops.

Who would win, the U.S. military (Fallout - preWar) or the U.S. military (real life - modern)?

Modern air power alone would win the war over the Fallout 2077 era military. They were still using jets on par with the P-80, their missile systems were very inaccurate, and their primary CAS aircraft was the extremely inefficient vertibird. One the modern military has wiped out their air power, they could easily win on the ground with extremely accurate and precise air support. In fact, the Fallout era only have four possible advantages I can think of:Liberty Prime. But the truth is, he's a massive target and can be engaged from WAY outside his effective range.Power armor. This would require heavy ordnance support to modern troops at at least the platoon level. Much of this would have to be provided by vehicles like Bradleys. AT-4s and the like would also need to be used. Power armor soldiers are also walking weapons platforms, so they can carry deveastating weapons, especially against vehicles and at close range.Energy weapons. This give the potential for very long range accurate fire (for lasers) and armor piercing small arms (plasma). But energy weapons still were only in limited numbers. Most soldiers carried conventional weapons which were less advanced than modern ones.Robots. The main issue would be sentry bots who would function much like power armor soldiers. But everything we’ve seen of the fallout military is based mostly on close range infantry combat (probably because it's a video game where this is the focus). The doctrine of the fallout military (what little we have seen if it) seems to have not evolved much passed WWII. Their vehicles are largely inferior to modern ones, and they still rely on large infantry formation to do a very large part of the maneuvering.I would recommend essentially creating a long border with long lines of sight. Use superior air power to wipe out their air power and do recon. Feed this information back to the ground to direct long range artillery with great precision. If the enemy advances, they will be mostly destroyed by accurate lounge range fire before they enter their effective fighting ranges. The only exception room is their laser weaponry, but this is in limited numbers and direct fire only. They will be outgunned by modern artillery. If they stay put, advance with 21st century style combined arms warfare. Shock and awe. They have not advanced this far in military tactics and will be overwhelmed.

Why has the US not launched missiles against ISIS?

Well, let´s see. So far, US government have tried to overthrow Al Assad from power, no matter what it takes. Al Assad´s allegiance with Iran and Russia, and his support of the Palestinian people is not liked by the USA nor Israel. That´s why in fact those very same terrorist organizations are in Syria. They are just doing the dirty job in the US politic. And you just don´t shoot your employees, don't´you? The US Air Force have been there almost 3 year "striking" ISIS and there is no visible damage, if some, to their capabilities. As soon as the Russian Air Force started to attack them it was clear what happen when you really fight the terrorists for real. The terrorists lost Aleppo, Palmyra and vast areas and the Syrian Army is clearly wining the war this time, with the help of Russia. Seen that, it´s just unthinkable how anybody may believe that the Syrian Army is going to use chemical weapons against the civilians. That´s clearly a clumsy attempt to justify the US´s direct attacks to the Syrian Army, now that their mercenary puppets are loosing the war, in a desperate try to save their bet. Nor the Israelis or the Americans want a sovereign government in Syria or in any of the Middle East countries. Democracy and Civil Rights are just used by the US Government in their convenience. If not, how they still support the Saudis and what they are doing in Yemen? Or why US supported Pinochet in Chile? They supported Saddam Hussein until he was no useful for them. US destroyed Libya to bring the Libyans "democracy" and overthrow Qaddafi... Now the whole world can see how democratic and prosperous are the "New Libya" or the "New Iraq" they created. The destruction of these countries cemented the rise of the extremist terrorism. And that very same destiny is the one Syria may expect if US finally achieve what they are looking for there.
