This is something that has bugged me for ages, men and how they view women. This isn't a personal attack on thin people, and I'm well aware everyone has different tastes however im just after some feedback from men and what they really think of curvy girls. Do you shoot straight last the curvy girl and straight for the thin, skinny one? When I say curvy I don't mean grossly overweight, I'm meaning your bog standard, average, everyday sides woman, size 12-16. They say men can't resist curves so hearing it directly from men will finally settle my life long question! The main reason I ask is because I myself Is curvy, ive got a large set of breasts and a butt, I nip in at the waist then gradually flare out down to my hips and I actually only started embracing my curves a couple of years ago in my mid twenties. Many friends remake on my "chest" and butt and yet I always find myself looking at the extremely slim line with envious eyes. Well, first allow me to separate the classes here because there can be a huge debate on what counts as a curvy woman these days, the definition of that has become so convoluted that people are often hesitate to comment without proper definition.So there is skinny women who, in my opinion are too skinny to be attractive in my mind. I am not even talking super model skinny as fabled as those are and even looking to some known celebrities.This is too skinny:Now I know what some people are going to say, but she is not grossly skinny, she is fit. Look at her stomach, her leg muscles, etc. I am not disputing her fitness level but how proportionate her body is and this is again by my definitions. Great fitness but lacks any sense of real curves and could easily pass off as a boy with the right make-up and clothing. That is too skinny for my tastes to me.Curvy,My definition of curvy is that a woman has all the curves of a woman, ideally around the hips, bust, area and yet is still healthy and in prime physical allure. This is my preferred body type.They have all the curves that accent the fact that they are a woman and it worn in all the right places, yes she has a little extra on top of that, but it is alright when it worn where a woman would normally wear it. That is curvy to me.What isn’t curvy to me is what was formerly called obese but now turned into curvy to not hurt or fat shame woman of scale-breaking weight. I get told by a female she is curvy and seeing that the only curve she has is one round curve? That is beach ball…not curvy.That above is not curvy…that is just fat and proud of it.Now, do not get me confused, if a female is fat and owns it…more power to her, go do you, however, do not kick up a fuss when many men don’t want you due to how fat you are and push your expectations of acceptance on us when women themselves have their own list of expectations of men.I, like many men, love curvy women when it is curvy and not just an adopted phrase from an obese woman.

We like a full figured woman so there is something to hold onto when she is hugged. We don't like to feel like we are going to break the girl in half. The Nicole Richie look is OUT. The Catherine Bell look is IN. In my book the Catherine Bell look has always been in but to each their own. A full figured woman looks a lot more healthy than some twig.

Im 5 ft 5, and weigh about 135 lbs.. my jean size is between a 7 and 9, and my bra is a 36D... A lot of my friends are jealous and say they wish they looked like me cause i have hips and a butt for a white girl, but im jealous of them because theyre really skinny and tall, whereas im 'curvier' and 'short'. i dont know my waist size; ive never measured it... but what im pretty much asking is do guys really prefer curvier girls, and why?
