Healed-over ingrown hair?
When I was 16, I had an ingrown hair on my calf (didn't get infected or anything). I put antibiotic on it and left it alone, and it didn't give me any problems. But I do have a mark where it was--kind of like a faint smudge under the skin, and I'm wondering if leaving it alone will do any lasting damage. I know it's stupid to pick at it and cut the skin open, etc. but I've read these horror stories that it can get wrapped around the muscle! I think it's BS, but now I'm a little worried. Is it okay to just leave it alone, or will it seriously mess things up later on? There's no bump or anything--the skin is totally smooth. There's just that little smudgy mark...
Ingrown hair scars on bikini area?
Hi. I've recently had a serious outbreak of ingrown hairs this year and I picked at pretty much all of them. It seems like a never ending cycle. They have left multiple red terrible scars on my bikini area and I'm trying to avoid them all together and heal them in a week and half b/c i'm going to be going on a vacation where I will wear a bikini. So does anyone have any suggestions for this? I did buy bikini zone, but I'd like to HEAL them at this point. I think theyve at least lessened a little bit suggestions please, I am very embarrassed :(
How to get rid of ingrown hair scars?
Whenever I shave my bikini zone my skin gets really irritated. I used razors in the start but I moved on to shaving creams because of the bad results. Still there's no improvement, my skin still gets irritated mostly on the inside of my thighs very close to my bikini zone. I get ingrown hair and bad scars and I don't know how to get rid of them. I feel very uncomfortable because of this. Help???

How long does it take for an ingrown hair to heal?
i just got over an ingrown hair on my left testicle. It was painful and took a few weeks. Best thing to do is leave it alone til it gets a nice white head on it and then pop it and if you see the hair in there pluck it out with a sharp pair of tweezers, or just wait til it goes away on its own. Keep masturbation to a minimum untils it gone. Rubbing can irritate it and cause swelling.
How do get rid of ingrown hair scar?
I dont know for sure, it is a scar, but about 3 months ago I had an ingrown hair, its finally healing, except it left a mark behind, its about 4 shades lighter then the rest of my skin, is there anyway to get it back to my original skin color? Anything to put on it to make it heal back to my skintone, you can really tell & its on my inner thigh.

When I was around 13 or so, I started shaving. Stupid enough, I shaved around my belly button -_- now for the past three years I have had to pluck the thick hairs, leaving me with red scars and ingrown hairs even after I pluck them..sometimes I bleed too and the scars are so easy to see. The skin is rough from the scar tissue too. I need this to go away cause I'm so self conscious when I go swimming:( what should I do? No laser removal please, or waxing/shave/pluck.
