Do The Same Stores Have Different Prices At Different Malls/shopping Centers

What is the difference between a department store and a shopping mall?

A shopping mall is going to be a conglomerate of different types of stores within one location. There are many types of shopping malls indoor malls, outdoor malls, and outlet malls just to name a few.Her department store is going to be a specific store that has different sections representing a certain category. For example, Walmart has a department for grocery, men's clothing, Beauty, and Healthcare. You can also argue that huge online stores such as Amazon.com or Walmart.com could be considered a department store as well. It would just be virtual. There are also many boutique stores that you consider to be small department stores. Like Francesca's has a gift Department and a clothing department. On the online side Love Now USA | Modern Women's Apparel at Great Prices could be considered a boutique department store what's departments for outerwear and dresses.

Same shirt; Different brands/prices? How does that happen?

A few days ago, I bought a juniors shirt at Macy's (just a striped longsleeve shirt). It was on sale for about $23... originally, it was $43.
Today I was shopping at a store called Glik's (a juniors and young mens store in a strip mall). I don't think Glik's is really an outlet, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I found the EXACT same shirt there for $20 (original, normal price)... and it was a different brand! The shirt from Macy's was "Belle du Jour"... the same shirt at Glik's was "Energie" (I think... it was either that or "Self Esteem" brand).
Even if Glik's is an outlet store, how do you explain the brand difference? And if it isn't, how do you explain the price difference? It was definitely the same shirt.

Can you return something at the same store, but different mall?

In many cases any store in a chain will take returns from another store in the chain if you have a recent. It would be best to call the store that you plan to return it to.

Edit: This is from the web site. Still best to call to be sure.

Can a store sell an item at different prices at the same store but different location?

I am not a lawyer. Please seek legal counsel for a legal answer. It depends.Charging higher prices is fine, so long as you aren’t price fixing (where all the stores in a given area, market, etc. are colluding to uniformly raise prices).Charging lower prices to remain competitive is usually fine, so long as you aren’t going below cost and / or using your pricing to drive people out of a market.Charging lower prices as a function of bundling or tying prices and items together usually ins’t a problem.Charging different prices because you are contractually mandated to via your manufacturer reseller agreement is usually okay.Ultimately, anti-trust provisions are typically used to maintain free-markets that function well for the consumer and protect companies from acting badly, not prevent them from competing.

Best shopping mall in LA?

In the City of Commerce, you'll find the Citadel Outlets. It's on Telegraph Road, and the nearest offramp from Interestate 5 is at Atlantic.

Del Amo is actually bigger than South Coast Plaza, and it's also much closer in Torrance at Hawthorne Blvd between Torrance Blvd and Sepulveda Blvd. It really does have everything. If you want big and a place with EVERY store - this is it. It's almost a full mile of shopping bliss.

Not knowing your starting-off point, I'm hesitant to offer other choices and since Del Amo is the biggest, just go there and have fun. Wear comfy shoes.

Do prices of clothes of same brand differ in showrooms in different malls?

It varies from brand to brand. Some brands like Hermes and Moncler don’t ever put items on sale, because of brand image, and then there are brands like H&M and Zara - and numerous other - who hold sales.Sometimes a store have special sales because a certain item is low in stock. But in the midst of a season, it is not normal that the prices of the same models vary from store to store.

Do all the Macy's stores have the same prices for clothes?

I've put together a page on Macy's pricing policies within their stores and on their website. They state that because macys.com is run by a separate company from the physical stores, and the physical stores themselves are run by different companies (this is split regionally between 6 different companies), they do not honor promotions or coupons universally.

They didn't say specifically that pricing between stores within the same region would be any different. I would imagine though that they would stock different merchandise at different stores.

A good strategy would be to browse their online site first and check the prices offered there. I would then visit both Macy's individually and note any pricing or merchandise differences (take notes if you have to). It may seem like a long-winded approach, but if you enjoy shopping it should be enjoyable!

PS - My personal bet is that different items will sell better at the mall location than in the suburbs and vice-versa. Thus, the clearance racks will probably contain different types of merchandise at the different stores, and that's where you will find your biggest savings!

Another interesting thing to note is how Macy's words their price reductions. Different specific wording (i.e. "clearance" vs. "lowest prices of the season" mean different things). Have a look at the information I've compiled on shopping at Macy's and the information source I used (Macys.com customer service on pricing policies - last updated Oct. 3, 2006).

Price-wise, which is better Viaport outlet or central istanbul stores?

U can found almost same materials with better price, that's why outlets stand just outside of the cities ( less expense = better prices )

I've prefer outlets for keep some money on my pocket.
