In theory it’s 55% but setting a price at Google is difficult since Google will discount your book and don’t tell you by how much. The result is authors get 55% of the price they set but also set a higher price which Google then discount. That means the royalty is higher than 55% of the price Google charges.The minimum price Google allows (other than free) is $0.99 and you’ll get 55% of that. That means Google are much better than Amazon to sell 99 cent books at. Amazon would offer a 35 cent royalty on a 99 cent book.
