Where does the phrase "extra, extra, read all about it" come from?
yes, before TV and radio were invented newspapers would print extra editions if there were a `special report` or `breaking news` like if some conservative student where to shoot up a school then a newspaper would print it immediately and sell it on the street in order to make extra money and the boys selling it would also make extra money by selling more papers than the usual 1 or 2 editions that the paper would normally sell in a day.

MLB extra innings package back on cable...?
I just read that the MLB extra inning baseball package, in a last minute agreement, will be available to cable subscribers for at leat the next 7 years starting immediately. I called my provider, Comcast, and they told me they should have the final details worked out in just a few days. Does anybody have any more info on this? Also, does anybody know if extra innings will ever be broadcast on HD channels?
Can you still get a co-star role if you were an extra for the same project a year prior?
I ve read that if you re an extra for, say a TV show, you can t be cast in a speaking role for the same show. Is this still true if you were an extra in one season, and then the next, you get an audition for a co-star? How often and how thoroughly does casting cross-reference you to make sure you ve not already worked on the show? I worked as an extra for a network episodic last year. I have an agent meeting next week and if that goes well, I ll be signed with an agent. The same show will be back to film another season later in the year. Have I screwed myself out of an audition/casting for this show by having previously worked as an extra (even if I don t list it anywhere on my resume and make it obvious)? Thanks to all!
Extra Credit for Buying things and Going to Events: what do you think?

Really, I did, and this is what she had to say to me "Even when I was triple cutting cupons, I still could afford to donate to charity?" yeah, ok...your parents paid for your PHD and you want to tell me that you know what it is like to be broke when you can afford to send your kids to school so that your son can be a lawyer and your daughter a doctor? Haha, yeah right! Anyhow, I did bring this up and because there was pressure from one of my teachers who agreed with me that he would file a lawsuit against the school (apparently it was a vaild case), the school changed the policy this year. Last year there really were not any rules as far as what I call paid extra credit goes. Now, the teachers can still offer it but there must be a second, academic assignment. Yeah, that solved a whole lot. It is definately equal now!!! I just do not understand why my school finds that it is so neccessary to offer extra credit for this!
Will No Contact get my ex girlfriend back (read details)?
So my girlfriend broke up with me 4 days ago and instead of directly going no contact, i tried to be sweet and get her back. Even though we kissed a couple of times over the few days, eventually she said no and told me she wanted to end things permanent. My question is: Will no contact make her miss me? (she deleted all our photos, she gave me back all the cards i made her, and removed every trace of me from her life). I'm afraid that if i go no-contact she'll forget about me and move on? (since she has nothing to look at to miss me)
