Do You Have To Watch Amazing Spiderman 1 To Understand What Is Going On In Amazing Spider Man 2

Is the Amazing Spiderman good or bad?

I once watched a review that said it was bad, in fact I've heard a few things saying it was bad, but all my friends love this movie. I watched it recently and thought the Spiderman wasn't that bad but the Peter Parker was too cool and too normal. He was attractive, intelligent, athletic, he seemed like your average high school student and yet they implied he was a total loser and I didn't like that. My friends said they were trying to say that everyone gets bullied but he seemed like a normal dude who's just minding his own business. What I'm saying is that he wasn't an underdog. I didn't think the movie as a whole was all that great but maybe that's the review speaking, that might be it, that might be why I didn't love it. I have to love it, I have to, my friends love it, I'm weird, I'm so weird for not loving it, I have to love it, if I don't I wont be normal and people will hate me for having an outlandish opinion, I have to learn to love this movie, I have to.

Do you have to watch amazing spiderman 1 to understand what is going on in amazing spider man 2?

It's not COMPLETELY nessecary, but it's certainly recommended. It's not just that the first one's good (it is, don't get me wrong) but it's also the fact that the second one is so fast paced and it would be hard to just figure out what's going on without watching the first. Also, you really SHOULD go watch it. It's absolutely AMAZING (get it?)!

In which order do I watch Spiderman series?

Just watch in the release order.Spiderman (good)Spiderman 2 (the best)Spiderman 3 (the worst)The amazing Spiderman (ok)The amazing Spiderman 2 (bad)And finally the Spiderman movie most true to its source material which gives us possibly the best peter parker , and if you are a comic book fan you're gonna love this and if not it still the really good if not the best (I still think that Spiderman 2 is best as a movie).6. Spiderman HomecomingAnd also this one is canon for the current Marvel Cinematic Universe so definitely check it out .

Should I get the amazing spiderman 2 game or Batman Arkham Knight for my PS4?

I recommend that you get Batman: Arkham Knight. It's going to be one of the best games of 2014, for sure - and it's going to be one of the best superhero game made-to-date. It will be one of the shining jewels on The Xbox One and Playstation 4. It will crush The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game. Trust me, it's going to be a excellent game to a great game...in the other hand, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will not.

Depressed over Amazing Spiderman 2?

I just saw The Amazing Spiderman 2 3 days ago... and the ending was so sad and depressing it hit me hard. Usually movies don't do this to me. But everyday i always think about this like every hour. I don't know if any of you saw the ending but its really sad. What can I do to get my mind off it??

Is the Amazing Spiderman 2 a good movie?

Well, I haven't watched Spider-Man 2 yet and I'm not planning to since I haven't seen the first one, je je!
But I did watch C.America 2 and I loved it. Taking into account what you said you like, then I recommend you to watch C.America 2 because it's more like a political thriller than an action/sci-fi movie. Of course it has action, but the story is interesting. I must admit it has some ups and downs sometimes, and it's a bit long, but I still loved it.
I don't know about SMan2, but for what I've seen it's got a lot of action and I think we all already know the ending, so...but well, that's my opinion.
Well, good luck choosing!

Hope it helps! ;)

How did Gwen Stacy die in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

Much like her death in the comics (The Night Gwen Stacy Died), it's debatable as to what the actual cause of death was.Spider-Man and the Green Goblin have been fighting in a clock tower, and Gwen is hanging from one of Spider-Man's webs. However, the clock tower gears shift and break the web, causing her to fall. Spider-Man jumps after her and fires a web, which snags her around the waist area shortly before she reaches the ground. However, she hangs limp, and when he gets down to her, it's obvious that she is dead. There are two ways she might have died. One - impact with the ground. While the webline catches her before she fully impacts, it looks like her head hits the ground as she stops. Given the speed she was falling (even with the deceleration from being caught), the impact of her head against the stone floor would be enough to cause a fatal head wound. However, it's not clear that she actually does hit the ground - the impact, if there is one, lasts only a brief moment, and it's hard to tell if it actually makes contact thanks to her hair. Also, there is no evidence of a wound when Peter holds her for the rest of the scene (although again, any evidence of said wound could have been hidden under her hair). The other possibility is that it was the web itself that killed her. The web caught her a couple of seconds before she stopped, and they have a certain level of elasticity. However, given the short distance between the web catching Gwen, and Gwen coming a complete stop, as well as the fact the webs were designed to be easy for Peter to use (and he's much stronger than a normal human), then it's likely that her stop would involve a massive amount of pressure on her waist. When she stops, everything above and below the waist snaps downward, which could suggest that, since her body was not sufficiently supported, the stop actually broke her spine. This would match up with the original comic, which put a small *snap* sound effect at the same moment. It's also worth noting that in a later story, Spider-Man is able to safely catch Mary-Jane during a similar fall by firing multiple webs to support her whole body, saying that he learnt from his mistakes.

What order should I watch the Spider-Man films in?

The Spider Man series has been rebooted twice now.If you’re concerned with catching up on the current Spider Man in the MCU/Avengers he’s only been in Civil War, Spider Man: Homecoming and Infinity War (in that order). The previous movies have nothing to do with the current version in the MCU but offer some good (and in one case great) Spider Man stories. For these I would start with the Sam Raimi movies from the early 2000’s.Spider Man 1 & 2 are fantastic. 2 is my favorite out of all the Spider Man movies. Spider Man 3 is a hot mess. It wraps up the Harry Osborne story from 1 & 2 but it’s not really worth the watch unless you are a completest.Next are Amazing Spider Man 1 & 2 from 2012 and 2014. These are directed by Marc Webb (no, that’s not a joke, they got someone with the last name of Webb to direct Spider Man movies). The first one was decent. The second not so much. Not Spider Man 3 bad, but still bad.TLDR: Catch up on the current Spider Man (Civil War, SM:Homecoming, IW). Then watch Spider Man 1 & 2 (2002 & 2004). Amazing Spider Man (2012) is ok if you want more Spider Man. Spider Man 3 (2007) and Amazing Spider Man 2 (2014) are very skip-able. 3 is downright horrible and considered a low point in super hero movies.

Why do people hate The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

Seriously, I don't get it.
Visually it was fantastic, the movie looked great. It was fun and didn't take itself too seriously like a lot of comic book movies do these days - Spider-Man is supposed to be fun, if it's all dark and serious, you're doing it wrong. I'll take a fun-but-kinda-dumb Spider-Man movie over a cutting edge, realistic action thriller any day.

The acting was good, maybe not Oscar-worthy, but again, is that really why you watch a Spider-Man movie? For amazing acting, rather than for a fun time?

Basically, the story was decent, the acting was pretty good, and the visual effects and fight scenes were awesome.

People complain about there being "too many villains" but there were only two, Electro and Goblin. All of the Batman movies had two villains, and they were amazing.
Rhino can't count as a villain in the movie because he was only in it for 2 minutes at the end, not exactly like he ruined the whole movie is it?

So what exactly is the problem? People act like this is the worst Spider-Man movie imaginable, but it's miles better than The Amazing Spider-Man 1 or the god-awful Spider-Man 3.

So why exactly do people claim to hate The Amazing Spider-Man 2 so much? Is there a real reason, or is it just because they want Tobey Maguire back, or because they were bitter about Sony not letting Marvel have Spider-Man in the Avengers, or what?

Should I watch the first 5 Spider-Man movies before Spider-Man: Homecoming?

Only if you feel the pressing need to.For their time they were the greatest thing ever. Tobey MaGuire makes a lovable, if slightly dopey Peter Parker, and Kirsten Dunst was a passable MJ.Dock Ock was the best villain of the bunch with a particularly brilliant fight on a subway train being the highlight of the entire McGuire bunch. And J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson will never ever be beaten. He transcends the role !They are OK. They are watchable.Same with the next two.Andrew Garfield is a better Spiderman than Peter Parker. When he has his webs on, he has the snappy patter drilled down, and having Gwen (Emma Stone) as his high school sweetheart just feels better. Again the villain is where we fall short. The Lizard is pretty dull. However Jamie Foxx’s Electro is really worth the watch in Amazing SM 2. A really human performance that creates for himself both empathy and drama. But Garfield is not a great Peter Parker. So no, you don’t need to watch any of them especially the weakest, McGuire’s third which breaks the “too many villains” rule. You can start on Civil War and go happily into Homecoming. But if the others are ever on TV, then give then a go.
