Can i return an item at American Eagle if my tag isn't attached, but i still have the tag ? Receipt needed ?
Just have the tag (attached or non-attached) and the receipt. It's fine, I do it all the time... My brother works there, and he just said it's fine to do that.
Returning American Eagle item?
This happened to me before. They sent me the wrong items and even with a receipt it didn't matter since the item didn't match what was on the receipt. You should actually go return it at the store. You can return items purchased online at any American Eagle store. If you bring the item and don't have a receipt they usually just give you store credit for the current purchase price.
Why is American Eagle called Aerie?
An "aerie" is associated with an eagle ...we're talking the bird here not the company.An "aerie" is what the nest of an eagle is called.The aerie is the home and a very important part in the life of an eagle. The aerie is also located in a high place where the eagle can remain protected and also maintain a good view and perspective of it's surroundings. I suspect the marketing gurus who searched for a name for this American Eagle Outfitters "subsidiary" or sub-line of clothing were trying to cash in on the natural comparison of an eagle's aerie to the relationship of AEO to Aerie ...or not. Maybe they just thought it sounded cool and appropriate.
American eagle- returns without tags?
Yes you can. Ae's return policy is one of the best around. Just bring in your item and the reciept and you will be able to recieve a full refund (or exchange) for your purchase in the way that you paid for it. If you used a credit card, the exact credit card that you used will be required in order to recieve the full refund or else you will only be able to recieve a store credit for the full amount. If you don't have the reciept, bring it in in a bag and goto the first associate you see so no one thinks you just grabbed it and stuffed it in your bag. You will be able to recieve store credit for the present value of the item or exchange the item for anything in the store and the present value of the item will just be deducted from your purchase. There is no time limit on return/exchanges. Unfortunately if you used an access pass on your purchase the points will have to be deducted from your account so make sure to bring in your access pass if you did (if you forget the cashier will be able to take the number from your reciept.) I would also suggest bringing in the tags just to make the cashier's life easier and so that it can just be reattached rather than a new one being made. Hope this helped!
