Do You Like The Name Emery

What do you think of the name Emery for a girl?

I love the names you've already named your children, and I think Emery is a very nice name.

I does sound sound like Avery, but whether you mind that or not is entirely up to you. I think the four names flow very nicely together, and I don't think it matters too much.

For middle names how about:
Emery Noelle
Emery Alyssa
Emery Adrienne
Emery Nicole
Emery Sierra
Emery Cassandra
Emery Laura
Emery Faith
Emery Hope
Emery Skye
Emery Isabelle/Isabella
Emery Charis (care-iss)
Emery Brooklyn/Brooke
Emery Addison
Emery Raelyn (ray-lin OR ruh-lin)

If you don't like that Avery and Emery are alike in sound, (I wouldn't worry about it too much but its up to you) here are some more names to throw out there:

Arianna
Adrienne
Carla
Leigh
Isabella (Bella, or Bells for short)
Paige
Juliet
Larissa
Tiffany
Scarlet
Violet
Roselyn/Rose/Rosalie
Jane
Jana
Eve
Ellyson

I hope this helps, and congrats:)

The name Emery, boy or girl why?

Emery is originally a boy name, as is Emory (which is still all-boy). Unfortunately, like many boy names in Europe at this point, it's now officially "unisex" and most people at this point seem to believe that, if a traditionally masculine name is used even partially by girls - suddenly boys can't use it anymore because it's "gay" and "girly" and "he'll be teased." Still, such childishness has never stopped me from acknowledging raw facts, especially since it means "worker or ruler", which are obviously masculine traits.

Again, it's a boy name. And the closest thing I can think of that's legitimately feminine is the Irish girl name Emer, which is typically pronounced in my area are "Eem-er".

Do you like the name Emery?

Yes I like it .

What do you think of the name Emery Faye?

I know that it is traditionally a male name.... but i have found that it is on A LOT of unisex lists... especially in baby books. Even if you are totally against unisex names... do you really think this is masculine? For some reason i really don't think that Emery sounds masculine... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name for a girl.. but I;m just worried unisex name haters are going to HATE it.

So if you are a unisex name disliker... can you be honest with this one and let me know if its an OKAY unisex name or you hate it as a girl name.

Also, if you like unisex names... please let me know what you think of it! :D

Please be nice. :)

What do you think of the name Emery Belle?

I love both names separately... but together I don't think it works. I'm not sure what it is, but it's just odd. Maybe try something different with Emery, and I'm sure it'd work better.

Opinions on the name Emery for a boy?

I'm glad I see it here. It's a gorgeous forgotten name. It's unique and very posh without being pretentious. It's masculine without screaming BOY in your face.I see why people think it's feminine. It's very soft and NOT the boring type of names that parents saddle their sons with (ultra masculine ones) and -y ending boy names are judged as non-masculine.There is nothing feminine at it.It has lots of masculine variants. But this is what it is nice at it.It's 100% a male name with lots of class and elegance.

It doesn't matter if your family finds it feminine. You are the one who will live with your Emery William, which is a lovely name.I don't like the E.W. initials, but this is not the most important thing.Good job at finding an innovative boy name!

What do you think of the name Emery and the name Everly? (for a girl)?

Not together, haha. Just each individual name.
I know Emery is traditionally a boys name, not sure on Everly.
But I am a big fan of boys names on girls.

I loved the name Emerson, but I let a lot of people talk me out of it. :/
Recently I have come across Emery, which is similiar to Emerson, and Everly.

What do you guys think??

What do you think of the name Emery for a little girl?

I just thought of it, and I think it's lovely! I also like the nicknames Emmie/Emmy and just plain Em.

I also like Ellery, I know it's unique...but Ellie is just the cutest nickname ever!
What do you think? And some middle name suggestions are greatly appreciated, too. Some important family names to me are: (Mary, Grace, Matiltda, Ruth, Carol, Margaret, Christine, Ann, my father is Nicholas so maybe Nichole, Meghan, Brigdet, Katharine, Laura, Elizabeth) and so I want the first name (Emery or Ellery), a family name, and than a unique, cool name for the second middle name. Thanks, I know it's alot...But combine and have fun!

What do you think of the name Emerson, with the nickname Emery, for a girl?

Ultimately the choice is yours but I would just like to say that Emerson is a kick *** name for a girl. I actually have a 3 year old daughter and we named her Emerson Rose. Seems that people who are willing to go against the grain a bit and those who like the idea of their child not being 3 or 4 in class with the same name all loved it. There were plenty of people who did not like it initially but it grew on them quite quickly. We call her Em, or Emmy for the most part, but she refers to herself as Emerson Rose, as do her little friends and she is quite proud of her name. In my opinion its a great name, she has a "normal" nickname to go by, but also a unique and distinguished name to use as a adult, or if she prefers at any point. I think she will be glad to not be another Sarah, or Rachel, Or Megan....or more importantly a Chloe, Olivia, Ava (all great names by the way, just too trendy, overused, popular for my liking) Happy naming!!!
