Do You Like The Song

Why do we like a song?

We enjoy music: When we enjoy the music and forget about the lyrics we just dont feel all alone and sometimes tend to dance. We actually love Good songs that we cannot forget In our whole life.Lyrics explain our current situation: Most of the songs we like or do get touched with are those which had explained the situtions in which we were at the time we were listening to them. For an example, fell in love and started listening love songs, if we are broke we tend to listen to sad songs and we these all times listen to lyrics very carefully.Songs are mood changer: If we try to listen to an energetic song when we are sad we feel better but if we do opposite we overthinks. So we like a song and sometime play it to change our mood because we want to do that at that moment. To explain others how you feel: Most of the songs we like are those we use to explain our feelings or tell others about what we are thinking and can not explain in our words better than the song lyrics. Some songs are connected to someone very special: Some of the songs are related to a person we met in childhood and he/she told we to listen to that song and we really enjoyed it and at present we are missing the person and playing the song. Some of the songs gives you gives you flash of how life used to be in old days.Good music is love forever. :)

What song do you like best?

So I like….Firstly, any song whose LYRICS I can relate to in my life or touch my heart- I pay a lot of attention to lyrics. Good meaningful lyrics instantly attract me. It is fascinating how lyricist play with words to put such meanings and life into a song.Songs that are soft or whose music is addicting- Yes! I love romantic songs even I like sad songs but I am just not a fan of EDM.Songs that are suggested by my favourite people or are of my favourite actor/actress- Often I develop liking for such songs. Maybe it is a kind off Placebo effect !!!Songs that I have grown up listening- Some songs no matter how cheezy they may sound (old 90’s songs)…just put me into flashback mode..my feet automatically start tapping. They make me feel nostalgic as well as surprised too as I realise what was my taste back then. (I have facepalm moments too but still I enjoy them alone :P )A song which reminds me of a place I have visited- Travelling and music go hand-in-hand.Often I associate places I visit with a song according to my mood. And…Nowadays I also like songs which are not at all related to Bollywood/Hollywood- There is so much talent outside the film industry. So many unnoticed singers and composers whose songs are so beautiful that they instantly win your heart. Example : Ankur Tewari, Prateek kuhad any many more. They showcase their original work rather than just creating covers. A Youtube search will lead you there.EDIT 1:Aa Jao by Ankur TiwariTum Badal Gaye by Ankur Tiwari (Full song is on a music app)Tune Kaha- Prateek KuhadTonight by Prateek Kuhad (The Lyrics are just waow)

Which song do you like to sing?

Right now I’d like to sing “Lose my mind” by “ The Wanted”The lyrics seem great and the music is nice too-They say that timeHeals everythingBut they don't know youAnd the scars you bring'Cause you left a jagged holeAnd I can't stand it anymoreIf heartache was a physical painI could face it I could face itBut you're hurting meFrom inside of my headI can't take it, I can't take itI'm gonna lose my mindI'm gonna lose my mindI'd erase my thoughtsIf only I knew howFill my head with white noiseIf it would drown you outKill the soundIf heartache was a physical painI could face it, I could face itBut you're hurting meFrom inside of my headI can't take it, I can't take itI'm gonna lose my mindI'm gonna lose my mindAnd I'd rather be crazyI'd rather go insaneThan having you stalkMy every thoughtThen having you here inside my heartIf heartache was a physical painI could face it I could face itBut you're hurting meFrom inside of my headI can't take it I can't take itI'm gonna lose my mindI'm gonna lose my mind

Do you like old Hindi songs?

Most certainly!I believe that most kids from 80s and 90s have a soft corner for the era of soulful music. From the 60s,Ajeeb daastan hai yeh: Lata Mangeshkar’s voice with subtlety in the depiction of pain, leaves me wanting to hear more.Likhe jo khat tujhe: Elegant verse of pure love in Md. Rafi’s voice makes my heart flutter today. From the 70s,Tere Bina Zindagi Se: Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar’s duet depicts regret of lost love so beautifully and boldy.Yeh Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge: Kishore Kumar and Manna Dey have given us an eternal song of friendship. I mean, even the U.S. Embassy in India has tweeted this, now. So that is something! From the 80s,Surmayee ankhiyon mein: Till date, I am yet to come across another Lori with such depth in it. The Magic of Yesudas!Inteha ho gayi intezaar ki: A wonderful presentation of love sung by KK and Asha Bhonsle.Hawa Hawaii: Kavita Krishnamurthy’s quirky way of singing this song has left it etched in our minds. From the 90s,Pehla Nasha: How can one enter the 90s and not fall in love with this wonderful song sung by Udit Narayan and Sadhana Sargam?Tujhe dekha toh yeh jana sanam: This timeless melody sung by Kumar Sanu and Lata Mangeshkar happens to be a love anthem now.Aankhon ki gustakhiyan: Kavita Krishnamurthy and Kumar Sanu’s refined way of adding essence to the song enchants me here. And after this, I don’t this it qualifies to be called that old anymore.

Do you like the song MAD by NE-YO?

Yes. I think Ne-yo is an amazing song writer and singer (he's also pretty hot ;). He's actually one of my two favorite singers (The Dream is my other favorite because of his voice and the songs he's written). I've been a fan of Ne-yo for almost 3 years now and he's never disappointed. Just five days ago, I saw him live and it was amazing!
So yah. I do love that song. Haha.
"Baby I know sometimes it's gonna rain. But baby can we make up now cuz I can't sleep through the pain. I don't wanna go to bed mad at you and I don't want you to go to bed mad at me" ~ :)

Do you like the song Hallelujah?

I absolutely love the song. The lyrics are powerful, poignant, and moving.I adore Cohen’s rhymes for hallelujah:“But you don't really care for music, do ya?I love how the lyrics describe what the melody is doing:“It goes like this, a fourth, a fifth, a minor fall, a major lift”I love how the lyrics describe the songwriter meeting the girl, and his joy and utter surrender to her:“She tied you to a kitchen chair, she broke your throne, and she cut your hair, and from your lips she drew that Hallelujah.”I feel the pain when the love ebbs and he recalls how it was when they made love:“Remember when I moved in you, the holy dove was moving too, and every breath we drew was Hallelujah.”But now the love is gone and although only memories remain, he still is grateful for the experience:“And even though it all went wrong, I’ll stand before the Lord of Song with nothing on my lips but Hallelujah.”Truly a masterpiece, and a fitting memorial for an incredible musical talent. Thank you, Mr. Cohen.
