Do You Like To Eat Chicken Eggs

Why do we eat chicken eggs the most?

Let me tell you, if you are from India, where chicken, duck and fish eggs are commonly consumed, that in this World there are many cuisines that involve various eggs other than just chicken eggs! But what makes chicken eggs so popular?First, the biological cycle of a hen to lay an egg begins early and is simple and frequent. They start laying eggs right from the fifth month of their birth and an average chicken can lay eggs almost everyday. Second, domestication of chicken is known to mankind more than any other bird. So its natural for people to have lots of domesticated chicken and hence getting their hands on eggs than any other eggs that they can think of.Third, commercialization of poultry and demand in chicken. We consume meat and hence we can make use of chicken's egg laying *super-powers* for our economical benefit. So, a section of a poultry farms has "layers", whose sole task is to produce eggs. Rarely their meat goes to the butcher shop.Fourth, refer to third point, as I said commercialization, it surely implies that people have a tendency to make sure they spend the least and earn the most from a business. Chicken consume very less food and need very less supplements to grow. This is a factor why people often venture into poultry business.Fifth, vaccinations and medical supplements are easily available, call it the effect of heavy chicken commercialization, which increases the life-expectancy in them, thus flooding the market with their eggs. Here is list of other than chicken, fish and duck eggs that we can eat :1. Goose :2. Ostrich Egg : Most common in you-know-where you can find lots of ostrich and kangaroos.. :D Once egg can serve up-to 5-6 people at a go!3. Why do we only eat chicken's eggs? Why do we not eat other bird's eggs?

We do eat other eggs, actually. Duck, goose, turkey, quail - ostrich and emu aren’t so out of the ordinary either. And someone living in the bush might gather just about any sorts of eggs they can find to eat.But out of the domestic poultry commonly kept as livestock, chickens are the easiest to handle and the simplest to raise in a way that allows us to quickly gather the eggs and keep the birds safe. Chickens are also the only ones in this group who will lay eggs year-round - geese, turkeys, and ducks (and all the others) are seasonal layers. In theory, you could raise a breed of geese or ducks that lay eggs all year round. But there’s not a whole lot of market for it, when chicken eggs are so readily available. The reason why chicken eggs are more common is that first, as mentioned, chickens will lay eggs all year so long as there’s sufficient food and light. Second, it’s easy to provide a chicken with adequate shelter - they just want a dry space that’s safe from predators, with a nest and somewhere to perch. Geese and ducks are water birds and would probably prefer somewhere that replicates that more closely. Third, chickens are small and have been bred for easy handling; ducks are bigger and less likely to be calm about being handled and having their eggs taken, and geese are flat-out dangerous - a goose can break a person’s leg with a good hit from its wings. All of these things make it so that it’s much, much more economical to have a flock of chickens than a flock of ducks or geese. No one wants to only be able to make scrambled eggs or cake in the spring, after all.

Can corn snakes eat chicken eggs?

They can indeed have chicken eggs as a supplement to their usual diet of mice and rats but no they shouldn’t been feed solely on such a diet and you shouldn’t try feeding them bits of raw hamburger. The general rule is to give them a brown chicken egg once or twice a month as a sort of “treat” pre-killed chicks can also be used in a similar manner, as corn snakes will often climb trees and raid bird’s nests in the wild.

Can I eat egg and chicken together?

My mom used to prepare chicken biryani when I was a kid. And she used to put egg in that. No harm in eating chicken n egg together. But it's too heavy and consumes lot of calories because chicken and egg both are high in protein and carbs. So watch out for that if you want to take so much of carbohydrates which will turn into fat cells n can make you fat in few months. This is my personal experience.Hope this helps! Thanks!

Why do some people eat eggs but not eat chicken if they are relatively one thing?

Because they are not relatively one thing. A chicken egg is a shell, a membrane, amniotic fluid and food – but there is no chicken in it, unless the hen has been with a rooster, which is very uncommon in commercially produced eggs. Furthermore, most eggs, even fertile ones, that chickens lay are abandoned. Most breeds of chickens go broody once or twice a year, and some modern breeds hardly ever go broody. Apart from at those time, they lay their eggs and walk away, fertilised or not.

In the spirit of "We eat chicken meat and turkey meat, but only chicken eggs. Why not turkey eggs?", why don't we eat turkey wings in the US the way we eat chicken wings?

Not only turkey, we dont eat eagle, parrot, sparrow, ostrich, crows, emu and other birds eggs/ wings.Main reason is, It comes down to ease and cost. chickens are flightless, which means easier to keep  in. They have a ton of meat on them for their size.  They produce eggs  that seem to be just the right size.  As far as why we pick some animals over others…  We want lazy  animals.  Lazy animals have less developed muscle, so they are more  tender and moist.Another main reason is Chicken are more tasty than any other birds. Why not turkey eggs?because they’re expensive. Chicken hens lays  one egg  almost every day, while a turkey produces only about two per week.  Chickens begin laying eggs at about five months of age, but turkeys  don’t have their first cycle until more than two months later

Do eggs (chicken eggs!) have sperm in them?

No that is not true..... I was raised on a farm.... Eggs you buy in a store of from crate chickens.... They are not housed with a rooster so therefor the eggs have not been fertilized..... But still have the egg white.... ITS NOT SPERM

I would say he has sperm on the mind lol

How badly do we harm chickens by eating eggs?

When chicks are hatched, gender is assessed. Males are tossed into a grinder, or into plastic trash bags where they suffocate. Female chicks are shipped as mail in cardboard boxes. Many do not survive the journey. Hens transported by the truckload to farms also suffer casualties. Often the tips of their beaks are cut off so they can’t peck one another when kept in close confinement. After their fertility drops, they are usually killed.During their productive years, much depends on the farmers who care for them. Animals in production agriculture are generally considered disposable commodities and are treated as such. It’s possible to do some homework and find sources of eggs that escape poor living conditions while they are laying. It’s not so possible to avoid the harm done in breeding, transport, and geriatric years.
