Do You Prefer Concrete Reality Or Foggy Illusion And Why

Why do I wake up thinking my dreams are real?

An interesting thing about dreams is that they can do what happens in waking reality. They create memories. They use memories that you already have move them around and create new ones. Using real visuals and real emotions you already have. Nightmares may pull up some intense feelings of fear and you start to think there is no way I could feel this unless it actually occurred. Lucidity can also make the dream so real since you have an awareness in the dream.Determining what symbolism in the dream that occurs that help you determine it is a dream while in the dream helps you to distinguish the differences. The idea is finding the concept that can’t occur in real life but occurs in the dream. Lucid dreamers look for this all the time to bring themselves to an awareness that they are dreaming. Now lets ask the question, what is convincing you the dream is real? Is it a feeling? The clarity? Is it only for nightmares? The more you ask yourself questions about the dream the more you can understand what it is.

If the atom contains 99.9% of nothing, why aren’t we just a tiny bit transparent?

As stated in previous answers, transparency (or transmissivity) depends on the wavelength of the incident light. I’d like to add a tiny remark. We are quite transparent at certain wavelengths…Extremely high energy photons associated to insanely short wavelengths will go right through you, and sometimes interact, and indeed destroy, base pairs that form your DNA.You heard of them. Gamma rays. And although a thin wall will shield you from visible photons, a good proportion of gamma rays will go through it, and in turn through you or get absorbed by you. So if there’s a nuclear detonation close to you, even though hiding behind a wall may save you from blast injury, you may still get cooked enough for Gordon Ramsay to consider you well done.Oh and also, it’s quite hard to define a “vacuum” in the “space” that would separate electrons from the nucleus. You’re better off thinking that what surrounds a nucleus is a mess, of delocalized electrons, and what carries their interaction with the nucleus (i.e. photons and gauge bosons). It’s more like a “soup”. And some incoming photons from “the outside” will just pass through, or get absorbed and re-emitted by electrons, or get absorbed and kick one or more electrons away from the nucleus’ influence (ionization, which is why high energy radiation damages your DNA).

Conformation pictures of the Danish Warmblood/Thoroughbred cross, revised?

He looks balanced overall, and well worth pursuing. There are only two things that I would be concerned with. One is his withers, which doesn't extend well back into his spine, which can cause problems with saddle slippage. but you can check that out when you ride him. The other is that I see a slight clubfoot on the left fore, and even when I zoom in to 400% I'm still seeing it. If it isn't just an illusion from the ground he is standing on, then it can be a problem in an eventer. They tend to land on their toes in jumping, which creates repeated trauma. It can also lead to shortening strides to compensate for the pain in the toe, or even cause the horse to stumble. So, even though it doesn't appear to be more than slight, I would definitely ask the owner about it, and maybe ask for pics on a concrete surface to get a better look. Otherwise he looks athletic and well put together.

Favorite song lyrics?

mine would have to be Pink Floyd's "Brain Damage"
The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'til I'm sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon
"Mayonaise" by the Smashing Pumpkins is a 2nd
