How do you pick stocks for swing trading?
i use several strategies for swing trading, like - resistance breakout, price action, trendline(you can browse my previous answers for example with chart).here i am going to explain resistance breakout -majority of traders use 50 day moving average for swing and positional trading, so it is worth to keep an eye on 50 day moving average.let’s take an example from drreddy trade of 20th september -in above 1 day chart of drreddy , you can see that trend breached 50 day moving average. if trend breaches 50 day moving average, it means it has some boost to gain hike.so i saw a good opportunity and grabbed good profit of 2.99% in 1 day, see tradebookit as simple as that, just spot a 50 day moving average breakout, and trade (with proper stop loss on basis of price action method).i’ve set my target price around 2365 (based on price action method), but as you can see after my exit trend climbed up to 2500, i was surprised, it was abnormal, i did a little postmortem and i found - on 21st september nifty was in sideways zone (consolidation), -.19%, all other sectors were struggling, but pharma sector went high like a rocket, +3.33% see-so that was a special day for pharma sector, that's why drreddy went high like a rocket.because pharma sector was going like a rocket that day, i grabbed some more profit trading on this sector -cipla (2.08%), divislab (1.43%) -if you want to see strategy behind my trade, here is the link -What are some good trading strategies used for Intraday in Indian Markets?
Where can I find successful Forex traders that I can copy?
Ah, a very common question here. The truth is successful traders are few and far between. Even more rare is successful traders allowing others to copy you. Think about it, if they are super successful, why would they bother allowing others copy them when they put in all the hard work to begin with. What benefit is it to them if you pay them a couple hundred dollars a month when they are making thousands, even millions.That being said, there are great guys out there that you can learn how to trade pretty good with.
