Why do people think Italians and Jews look alike?

If Turks are not Arabs how come they look so alike?
It’s a long story, but I’ll try :The majority of modern Turkish people carry genetic haplogroup J2 as the most dominant haplogroup. Haplogroup J2 is also dominant among the other Turkic ethnic grroups, Greeks, and Persians. Haplogroup J2 is the closest to haplogroup J1 compared to the other haplogroups. Haplogroup J1 is most dominant among the Arab world, especially Arabian Peninsula where the Arabs came from.So basically, the Turkish, Turkic people, Greeks, and Persians are closely related to the Arabs.
Why do Turks and Jews look alike?
Turks look like human beings. Jews look like human beings. I have met many Turks and many Jews. Turks with brown eyes and dark hair, Turks with blue eyes and red hair, Jews with dark hair and brown eyes, Catholic Dutch cousins with brown eyes and dark hair who were mistaken for being Turkish, A catholic Dutch father who during the war was harassed by Nazi policemen why he did not wear the Yellow Star on his coat. He was short, had black hair, hooked nose (Blue eyes). Sometimes people think that I am Jewish. Never met someone who thought that I was Turkish. Perhaps you question could omit the “Why”
Why do the Arabs and the Jews look the same? In general I mean?
Indeed, Thomas and instead all of those brothers and sisters, of trying together to make the land where Jesus Christ was born and walked upon, a paradise, they turned that in a war zone. There has been not a single peaceful day for 60 whole years. I do not blame only the Israelis, but they have the lion's share since we all have witnessed unheard atrocities from the Jewish side. The Hebrew language is very similar to the Arabic one, by I am not an authority on that, in order to give you more input. The gene similarity? frightening similar! Turks and Kurds share smaller similarities than those of the Arabs and the Jews. If I am not mistaken the University of Barcelona, Spain did a survey on that very recently, giving us many new clues and data. Thank you.

Why aren’t Chinese and Japanese friends? They look the same speak similar language believe (or not believe) in the same gods….Well no they don’t. And just ‘looking like’ someone is hardly a guarantee of instant emotional connection.However, there is no automatic reason for total enmity either, and Jews and Arab Muslims and Arab Christians have lived alongside each other for a couple of millenia at this point, or at least for centuries, and their attitudes toward each other have varied from enmity to tolerance to mutual friendship at various times.The current localized (somewhat) hostile position between (mostly Muslim) Arabs and Jews in the Middle East is mainly political at this point.However, remember that both Christianity and Islam make claims to owning ultimate truth and exclusive truth, so those two religions are going to ‘always’ be in conflict (theologically, not necessarily in physical conflict). Judaism also claims to have ultimate truth, but not exclusive truth (that’s important). Christianity and Islam are also proselytizing faiths, which means they are mandated by their faith to persuade non-members to join their side. Again, Judaism does not have that mandate.
Why do Iranians look similar to Jews?
Because many Iranians were Jews, and also many Jews were from Iran. Iran is an old country. It started off with Zoroastrianism, the first monotheistic religion, and then came Judaism, and many either converted to it, or migrated from Levant to Iran to safely practice their religion (particularly in the Isfahan region).
So whats this thing with Italians, Greeks and Jews being so much alike in looks and family so on so forth?
Well **** I was asking a question that's what this damn yahoo answers is for. And know I am not a damn racist I was watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I recently saw an interview with Fran Drescher, who plays Fran Fine in the Nanny, and she said her and her family in the show was supposed to be Italian, but she asked if they could be Jewish because that's what she is and knows how to be. The interviewer said, "well Italians and Jews are very much alike," and after seeing My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I thought a lot of the stereotypes about the three are similar. As for me being racist I am far from that. You dont know me and nothing I said was racist. I Love people and othere cultures and languages. I'm teaching myself italian right now. I love italian its beautiful and I plan on being an athropologist and look at my profile name its Luciani, I'm not even italian, I just really like that name.
