Do You Think Politics Is A Racket

What else should I think about when picking a racket?

Weight distribution. Do you want the racquet to head heavy or not head heavy. Weight overall, string pattern, 16x19 gives you better spin potential usually, 18x20 to me is better for flattening out, id say finding the right strings are going to more essential than finding the right racquet. Just a bunch of racquets and see what fits right. For strings id recommend as a default string to go with the volkl cyclone just because you get everything from ball pocketing to spin and power as well as feel and it’s really cheap and is widely considered to be a competitor to the rpm blast!

Do you think businessmen make good politicians?

No.Businessmen will sell the idea that they make great politicians, because selling is what they do. The problem is too many people buy what they are selling, which is mostly a cheap imitation, and some of them don’t even try to hide it.The business of business is to make as much money as possible, and some businessmen don’t even care if it is made legally. The business of politicians is to protect the people, serve the best interests of the nation, and pass the country/state/city on to the next generation, hopefully better than they found it.When politicians turn government into a business, they stop looking out for the best interests of the people and start looking out for the best interests of themselves, their cronies, and their loan sharks…I mean, lobbyists, party leaders, and campaign contributors. Some of them don’t even care if it done legally. They just vote to change the laws to make it legal. If a person went into politics to serve the people, to serve the best interests of his/her constituents, and leave government better than he/she found it…it wouldn’t matter if that person was a businessman or not. Most politicians today get into it for the money, and the laws have changed to make being a politician lucrative. Why in the world would two people spend almost $60.000,000 between them to campaign for a U.S. senate seat that only pays $174,000/year? They stand to make many times more than that. They aren’t in government to do the business of the taxpayers. They are in government to give taxpayers the business.Congress voted to repeal the A.C.A. 60 times when they knew they couldn’t actually do it, and couldn’t do it once when they actually had the power. They get paid a lot to do very little, except spend 4 to 6 hours a day (yes a DAY) calling for campaign contributions. Imagine if all that time and energy was actually spent doing their jobs? Can you imagine a businessman doing all that work because it was the right thing to do, not so he could get rich at taxpayers expense. No? I couldn’t either.Businessmen by and large make lousy politicians , and there is plenty of examples in government right now as proof. Simply because the goals of business and government aren’t the same.

"Capitalism is the legitimate racket of the ruling class"- Al Capone?

Some people think that all the world is made up of crooks. Some are legitimate some not. Capitalism is then a form of theft. Taking from the poor and giving to the rich.

I didn't take a mosquito racket to my father. Have I gone too far?

Well I don’t kill animals either, if mosquitoes are animals then so do we, humans are also known as social animals. Not killing an animal is another thing, but don’t you support killing of animals by eating fast food containing meat etc? (if you do?). That’s all your personal choice, I also don’t harm animals but I don’t leave mosquitoes, one mosquito can make me extremely sick, it’s not worthy enough to leave mosquitoes alive around you, your father was doing something good, he was not just saving himself but he was saving you too from getting sick of mosquito bites. You did what you thought you should, but you did WRONG.

Do you think it is important to align yourself with a particular political party? Why?

Uh oh, politics. In general, I think that one’s beliefs should be their own and to follow behind a political party and to adopt and be influenced by their opinions is a limiter to this freedom. Sure, it’s okay to agree more with one party more than another, it’s bound to happen, but to entirely jump into one party and to ignore the others would be simply closed off and honestly sort of biased. In my opinion, it’s best to keep an open mindset and to look into the opinions of all sides before making one yourself. Gather all of the information and make a decision based on that, and also be aware of how information is portrayed in a format that best suits the party portraying it.In the end, my point boils down to being open to new information and essentially being unbiased. If you don’t think for yourself, someone else will think for you.
