Do You Think Roman Reigns Needs To Get Rid Of The Shield Persona

Who is hotter, Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins?

Seth Rollins

What do you think about Roman Reigns's return on WWE Raw?

I was unaware of the disturbing assumption of kayfabe regarding Roman Reigns’ departure until I read Jerel Minter’s fine response. While the WWE has a track record for exploiting real life events and tragedies of their employees, they do have a sense of decency. Further, exploitation of anyone’s cancer would be both bad for business and contrary to the longstanding support the WWE of cancer related causes. The interesting aspect of Reign’s return is the question of the good will: will the applause given to Joseph "Joe" Anoaʻi for being a cancer survivor and real life, decent human being carry over to the wrestler (persona) of Roman Reigns? Will the openness extended to the man be carried forward to the Superstar? Half the people who had tears in their eyes and cheers in their throats are the same people who boo Reigns every time he comes to battle in the square circle. (Full disclosure: I am a Roman Reigns fan.) Will the positivity carry on and over for those who still find fault with Reigns for Vince McMahon’s choice to push him too early? Will, or how soon will, the WWE Universe - or at about half of it - return to their feelings about the four time champ? If Reigns is given time to reintegrate naturally (i.e., is not thrown into the championship picture prematurely - within the next six months), then the WWE Universe will more than likely hit the “reset button” on Reigns.I am glad to see Reigns return and wish for his good health and success.

Does Roman Reigns suck?

Nope the Latino guy is cool.

Isn't WWE better right now without Roman Reigns?

That all depends if you are a fan of Roman Reigns and/or how the WWE is using Roman Reigns currently. As a singles competitor, Roman is not over (liked) in the US the way Vince planned for him to be. His promo skills are awful for how long he has been in the business. Personally, I find his move-set mostly lame (Superman punch, turnbuckle clotheslines) but that is the least of his worries. Currently, his persona is static; not evolving, has no depth, and has no sign of improving. He NEEDS to be turned heel (become a bad guy), if only for a year or so in order to develop his skills, give him some range and simply change his current singles situation. A lot of why people do not like Roman is because of how the WWE is using him so in a way I feel bad for him but he has also under performed. As a member of The Shield, he is able to ride the coattails of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose because they have mic skills. Playing “the muscle” is a one dimensional character that Roman can pull off well because it requires much less mic work. But, at the same time, I get plenty of enjoyment out of watching Seth and Dean tag ream without Roman.Clearly, I am not a big fan of what Roman Reigns brings to the table. Having said that, I am intrigued by the direction WWE creative decides to go with him on a weekly basis knowing that a large segment of the fan base does not like him even though he is a “face” (a good guy). I am still holding out for him to turn heel ASAP. Hopefully he turns on Seth and Dean after a couple months of the Shield reunion because I believe he has real potential to be a solid, if not stellar heel.I am perfectly fine with Roman being out of the picture for a month+. Honestly, I wouldn’t miss him if he never came back to WWE. However, it would be a shame for the writers to not even give him a chance at becoming a true heel. I can easily picture him as the bad ass who turns on the fans for not cheering him, doesn’t give a crap about anyone else, and thinks he is the toughest wrestler to ever grace a WWE ring.

Why does every hate Roman Reigns?

What did he do wrong? I don't understand why everyone boo's him yet everyone was cheering for him when he first won the wwe championship.

Is it just another case of dissatisfied old school fans?

You wanted him to be champion now you don't. Wtf is wrong with you.

How is Roman Reigns' return going to change the landscape of Wrestlemania 35?

As a WWE wrestling fan, this question is a very good one. When he entered into the WWE Ring for the first time during the 2014’s with the Shields. they were one of the baddest motherf*cker group in whole WWE History and they were not just baby-face or heel. They were something else. Gladiators that did not give a shit about no one except themselves. Destroying everything in there path to get to the very top of the empire. One of the best teams I have ever seen in WWE.So, after splitting up between all 3; because of what Seth Rollins did. (What a piece of shit snake) - I loved it. Roman Reigns was a mother badass singles competitor inside the wrestling ring but the fans looked at him as a heel. NO F*ckin idea why. But, he became a very good success by himself. Winning all these major matches and championships all by himself. What changed everything was when he gave his heart-felt speech about his personal life with leukemia. All the WWE Universe felt his heart and soul and loved him to death (Damn, I want to cry - NOT) after that speech. Then, he became a baby-face BIG TIME.Now, with his heart-felt speech again that he is staying in WWE Universe for once and for all because of his personal health issue has been cured. WWE will change a lot because of one damn badass motherf*cker superstar Roman Reigns. So, getting back to the point, how is the landscape of Wrestlemania 35 going to change because of this badass Samoan. It will change drastically. (And, I hope that I am correct).I see this happening in Wrestlemania 35 when Roman Reigns is inside the ring at the biggest event of the year.
