Do You Think That The Entire U.s Will Legalize Marijuana

How long do you think it will be before marijuana is lehalized in all 50 states?

9 states have fully legal recreational use.
Another about 15 have medical use.
The tax revenue benefit to the states with legal recreational use will in a short time make it attractive to all 50 states.
I would say within the next 10 years.

When do you think marijuana will be completely legal for recreational use in all states?

Yes And sooner than you think…Here’s why The big western states already have a few tourists who come to buy marijuana party a little and take a bit home and leave their tax money here. But few people want to or are able to travel long distances so they buy a bit from their local black market. But on the east coast, the states are a lot smaller. Once one small state like say Vermont legalizes, the adjoining small states will soon notice that their citizens are driving across the border for an few grams and leaving the tax money. It won’t be long before those states end prohibition to get their fair share.

Will marijuana eventually be legalized in the entire world?

“Will marijuana eventually be legalized in the entire world?”In my opinion, eventually, but I don’t know if it will be in my life-time.In my opinion, countries may become a thing of the past, but in the near-future, I don’t see the entire world legalizing cannabis.Cannabis was never criminalized with harsh penalties because it was dangerous, it’s been demonized because it encourages peace, and it is medicine, that beats most every petro-pharmaceutical on the market, not to mention that deadly alcohol.Cannabis has never killed anyone, all the harms have come from the war on cannabis.Yes, I think eventually the entire world will legalize, the safest drug on the planet but it could take some time.1,000+ people were sent your answer in the Quora Digest: Will marijuana eventually be legalized in the entire world? What do you think will be the long term impacts of legalizing marijuana (list 3 or more)?

What do you think will be the long term impacts of legalizing marijuana (list 3 or more)?Smaller prison populations. On the flip-side of this, the remaining inmate populations will tend to become statistically more violent than they were in the past (remove the non-violent offenders from a prison and the overall percentage of violent offenders housed there increases).Greater realized tax revenue, both to the states and to the federal government. This will eventually trickle down and be seen in the form of improved education, public infrastructure, and social aid.New possibilities for groundbreaking medical research. Without the Schedule I restriction on the substance, research becomes much easier to perform as it no longer requires all sorts of extra licensing and oversight compared to other studies. This will, in relatively short order, lead to new discoveries unlocking even more potential uses for the plant.Creation of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands, of new jobs in a growing industrial sector. Some companies (if allowed to do so through regulation) will inevitably expand to become the Amazon, the Wal-Mart, or the Starbucks of weed - employing armies of workers along the way in order to be able to fulfill that role.

Will the United States ever legalize marijuana?

The first state will fully decriminalize marijuana within 5 years. Denver already legalized possession of 2 ounces, but the police still enforce state law prohibiting it. It seems likely that Colorado will be the first state to actually legalize it fully. It will be extremely limited at first but will eventually be merged with the medical marijuana community and dispensaries will grow more prevalent, but heavily regulated and taxed. But with the large surplus of Marijuana growing coming as a result, product would actually reduce in price.Personally, I would have to say it would be a good thing. The sheer amount of people going to jail for mere possession of marijuana is a huge injustice that would be corrected. Mexican drug cartels that kills thousands of people per year would lose their cash crop with the legalization of marijuana as cheaper and far more potent strands would exist inside the United States. I also believe once responsibility is taught rather than scare tactics, teenagers will be less likely to abuse drugs.

Why won't the US gov't legalize marijuana?

Because we need fewer stoned people in society.

Look at the pathetic state of public education.
Look at how little personal responsibility people have (unwanted pregnancies, stds, child neglect etc.)
Try to get a straight answer when you call "customer service"
Try to get correct change the next time you shop at the mall.
Try to get your car fixed without bringing it back three times.

Would it really help society if all of these people were stoned? I don't think so.

There is no constitutional right to be able to obtain whatever recreational chemicals you want, just as there is no constitutional right to drive.

There is, however a constitutional right to bear arms. Anyone who cares about freedom should be asking why there are so many laws against that.

Do you think recreational marijuana will be legal in the whole USA within the next 5 years?

United States is the global opponent of illicit drugs and mainly marijuana federal law won't change anytime soon as long as the DEA is the judge and the enforcer of law given by Theo judge you won't see anything changing not even for century to come if your question was will the Feds deschedule marijuana to recreational use nope that won't happen. If ur question will States follow suite to the total of the so far eight states to legalize marijuana well it takes more than five years be more generous like 25 at least last state to do such thing will be TX.

Do you think marijuana will be legal in every state within the next 20 years?

Federally legal, legal in all states, and legal in most countries. Grown as a backyard crop in many places--as it formerly was.A regime of disinformation has prevented cannabis from serving its proper role in supporting humanity. When this is widely recognized, people will look back on our times in disbelief. It's much worse than alcohol Prohibition because, with a few important caveats, cannabis is profoundly beneficial. It's such a beneficial crop that I have argued in my book for rebranding it “The Mother Plant".

Would legalizing marijuana benefit the economy?

Obama answered this question with a no.That's it,he just said no.Any person who is in the least bit aware of whats going on cannot possible get off with a "no".Marijuana is the largest cash crop in California. The cost of enforcements, courts, incarceration, loss of productivity that goes along with that. Not to mention how he inhaled,it's medical purposes and recreational value.Even if you are against legalizing you can not possible believe this would not benefit the economy.Taxed or not the government would get money off sales and the consumer could grow or buy it for much less than it is valued at now,and use the savings to save or buy other commodities.Marijuana is so over priced, any where from 150 to 1000 dollars an oz.,isn't the price of gold the same? Come on Obama at least FDR ended prohibition on alcohol to numb the pain of his policies,I thought maybe you would do the same for pot to distract us from what is really going on.

Should marijuana be legalized in canada???--URGENT?

Ruins the smoker's life. It might be cheap and not too unhealthy, it still makes the person ignore their life.

Danger to society. Person under influence is a danger to themselves and others.

Majority of people are against it, and Canada is a democracy.
