Do You Think Tony Parker Will Cry If Tim Duncan Retires

Are American Sports (USA) really based on race?

Ok, I am just down in the dumps right now mentally. I mean I have no opportunity and I really want to play football. Unfortunately I am Indian (from India) and I currently live in the US (been living here for about 8 years of my life). I am currently 16 yrs old, I go to a high school which does not have a football program and I have looked, looked, looked, and looked but there are NO FOOTBALL camps in my town or towns near by (the deep south really is garbage).

I even cried about this 2 days ago and yesterday I had suicidal thoughts because I CANNOT find anything for football. I am 5"10 currently and doctor told me I will grow to be 6"3 according to my genetics. So I want to know,

Are sports in America based on Race and ethnicity?

I had a bad thought about this today and I was thinking "What if I can throw 90 yards and lead a team to a superbowl and show promise BUT I rejected because of race?"
I came to think this because most of the time I watch American sports the people playing are either Black or White. None of the players in football or basketball are of my race or ethnicity (Indian, which would kinda be Asian/Pacific Islander). So I want to know from you

If I have the skills to be an NFL Quarterback and I have all the grades and EVERYTHING, and I want to play for a college (D-1a or D-1aa or D2), will they deny me a spot as a starter because of my ethnicity?

I really have been circling on this issue, your help will be needed.

Also, why is there a lack of Asians in Professional American sports?

What's the story behind you being a fan of your team?

I grew up on the other side of the world. At age 11 years old back then i wasn't a basketball fan yet. Then one day i received an NBA card which featured John Stockton of the Jazz. Then i began to watch the Jazz play in the 1997 playoffs and was now starting to cheer for them. It continued until John Stockton retired. Because i like his unselfishness and his great floor leadership, i've now respected the Jazz even more and became a fan of them.

How do the spurs keep winning?

I'm not even talking about now but just for the last couple of years. They keep winning even though they have no mega super stars except for Duncan who has aged and their best players are pretty old. Even when they got their championships their line ups have changed.

The only consistent factor is their coach Greg Poppovich. He literally seems to make players better. Like look at Danny Green and Roger Mason no one ever talked about them until they joined the Spurs.

Did you notice how the spurs always draft humble underrated guys? I dont think Ginobli and Parker were even first round draft picks.

Who ever the General Manager is or whoever is in charge their is making excellent decisions. Their the only successful small market team. The Lakers will always be good since they have a bigger market, more money and can just get any player they want literally. Its so easy to be a Lakers fan.

They acquired Kareem from the bucks,Chamberlain from the sixers,Shaq from the Magic,Dwight fom the Magic,Nash. The list goes on and on

anyways I went off topic. Arent the Spurs the smartest organization?
