Does Anyone Here Know If There Is A Way Closely Examine Gases Not The Fuel Lol

Can a gas diffuse in a gas?how about a gas in a liquid?give example?

diffusion is the movement of paricle from a region of higher conc. to a region of lower conc. therefore a gas can diffuse in a gas if either one is conc. in one point and the same goes for gas in liquid

example: u can smell the fart of someone else even though he's sitting at the other end. that's because his fart diffused into the air you breathe in.

I have a trimmer 4 cycle troy built gas hand held and having running problems need to see a manual?

a lot depend,s on just how old the unit is...it definitely is a carburetor problem....the older unit,s have mixture screw,s on the carb. usually marked with a "L" for low speed or idle mixture setting,s & another marked "H" for high speed mixture setting,s...newer model,s have fixed mixture setting,s [ thank,s to the E.P.A...who claim,s power equiptment is responsible for 10% of air polution]...after a good cleaning with some gum out or similar product...set mixture screw,s aprox. 2 to 2&1/2 turn,s out from seat..start & adjust low to best idle speed [ may have to screw in or out] then throttle up & adjust high speed screw to smoothest operation..you may need to repeat this procedure a secound time....if you have fixed jet,s...add gum out to fuel....start & choke or use your thumb to cut off air flow to carb....this will create a good amount of vacuum in the carb. & hopefully clear out any debris...again..you may need to repeat this a few time,s....if there is only 1 main screw , adjust it as described for high setting....if none of this does the trick you must disassemble the carb. , clean , & reassemble....check your gas supply for debris/contaminent,s...good luck!...you may e-mail if you have further concern,s.

How much greenhouse gas is emitted by hot air balloons? Do you go for hot air balloon rides?

My boyfriend said that he wants to take me up in the air over the pastures in our community. I don't know whether we should do this. I mean, wouldn't we be contributing to global warming?

I'm really wondering if we should do this. Does anyone here know the ratio of the greenhouse gases emitted by burning the fuel for a hot air ballon ride as opposed to the total amount of greenhouse gases that are produced when he takes me for a ride in his convertible?

He even said that he thinks we should get married in a hot air balloon, but it frightens me, because I am worried about the carbon footprint that we would leave behind us when we take our wedding vows.

What should I tell him?

What do you do if you think someone is following you home when you are driving?

One military bud told me this story: his young wife and child were driving home one day when she noticed that there was a car right behind them, literally feet away from her rear bumper. As she got closer to home she noticed in her rear-view mirror he was staring intently at her and matched every turn and speed change. Obviously frightened she drove to a Police Station with a giant POLICE on a neon sign. He was still right there. She drove right up on the sidewalk outside the front door and laid on the horn. This guy then jumped out of his car and proceeded to yell at her and punch her car.. as a number of police appeared with guns drawn. He had no idea they were at the Police Station, and she honestly did not know why he targeted her.Do not go home. Go to a public place, do NOT leave your vehicle, stop ANYWHERE conspicuous, lay on the horn and/or then call the Police. You’re safer in your vehicle . Video if you wish, fuel for the court case, but DO not respond or step out of your vehicle. People have been murdered for that.P.S. Found out in the Edmonton Journal that my dentist’s son was driving along and was followed by a road rager. Instead of thinking of his own safety, he stopped in rush hour traffic and stepped out to face this guy behind him. The road rager jumped out with a tire iron and bashed his head in.He died instantly. Closed coffin.A few dozen people witnessed this. Mr. Crowbar, (married with kids) is now a Prison Bitch for life.

My lawn mower starts fine but then dies out while I am cutting grass. Any ideas?

The air filter is new, but the one that I replaced was absolutely terrible. There is gas in the fuel tank and it's good, clean gas. I called Sears and they said that this model (a self-propelled push mower) does not have a fuel filter or a fuel pump. The lawn mower is set high enough so that it is not having to cut through too much grass. I'm stumped. I'm trying soooo hard to be Ms. Independent but it's not easy. I know I may have to take it in to the lawn mower doctor but if there's anything I can do I'd like to know. Thanks!

How frequently do airliners get their tires replaced?

It's been a few years since I was involved in heavy aircraft maintenance, but I'm sure that things haven't changed that much.Aircraft tires are a bit like gas in your car. You don't drive around until you run out of gas and then fill up. And you don't wait until Tuesday to fill up if you did a big trip over the weekend. You fill up when the car doesn't have enough gas.Tires are a bit like that.Tires (or tyres here in Australia) on commercial jet aircraft get visually inspected after every landing by both Airframe Technicians (Framies) and one of the pilots on his or her pre-flight walkaround. They are looking for treadwear, uneven wear, and cuts or damage caused by foreign objects (FOD).This is mostly done in an inflated state, but if a particularly heavy landing has happened or an embedded object has been found, the Framies may remove the tyre, deflate it, and check it more thoroughly.Tyres are also inspected for flat spots, sidewall damage and bulging, tread separation, rim damage and rim slippage. Here's a tyre with some cracks caused by FOD. It would depend how deep these cracks were and if the cuts extended down to the belting or across multiple treads. If not the tyre may be considered serviceable (but would be closely monitored)Here another with apparently little or no damage, but that faint wavy line indicates a serious condition called an open tread splice. This tyre would be deemed unserviceable and removed from the aircraft immediately. Each tyre manufacture has specific amount of wear and damage that determines when the tyre needs to be replaced. The tyres that need to be replaced, are replaced immediately, but there is no set time limit or number of landings.
