Does Anyone Know A Young Adult Fiction/fantasy Novel That Has A Main Character Named Cindy

What are some movies, songs or books in which the characters have a non monogamous relationship (like polyamorous or a trouple)?

For films, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Francois Truffaut's Jules and Jim (1962), which I think was remade in the United States as Willie & Phil (1980).  I can't vouch for the remake, but the film is one of Truffaut's best. When it comes to songs, I would remiss as a Minnesotan if I didn't mentioned Prince's "When You Were Mine." Cyndi Lauper sang a really good cover version of it too.Jefferson Airplane also did a song called "Triad," which is about a polyamorous relationship between a woman and two men with the refrain, "I don't really see why can't we go on as three."  The song was originally written by David Crosby for the Byrds, but the rest of the Byrds rejected it, a factor that played role in Crosby eventually leaving the group to join Crosby, Stills, & Nash.  The Byrds recorded a version of "Triad" before Jefferson Airplane, but it never got released until it appeared on a 1980s era outtakes compilation Never Before.

If you could recommend a good fantasy or science fantasy book/book series, what would you recommend?

Stephen Donaldson's The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. It's the story of Thomas Covenant, a man from the "real world" who is summoned to a fantasy world, where he's believed to be the reincarnation of their greatest hero. But there's problems:He refuses to believe the world is real; he thinks he's in a coma and dreaming. He has leprosy. He is very much an anti-hero, so much so that many people consider him one of the most loathsome lead characters in fantasy fiction.Donaldson's world-building, though, is amazing. You will fall in love with The Land, as the setting is called, and its people, and you will understand why they tolerate Covenant being, essentially, an asshole, and doing something monstrous early on, because they believe he is their savior. It's a spectacular setting, free of a lot of the standard fantasy tropes. It's a ten book series. There's the original Chronicles, the Second Chronicles, and the recent Last Chronicles, which I find a huge disappointment. The series opens with Amazon.com: Lord Foul's Bane (The First Chronicles: Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever) eBook: Stephen R. Donaldson: Kindle Store. If you like that, give the rest of the trilogy a try. If you like that, try the second, though be warned, it addresses this theme: "How do you hurt a man who has lost everything? Give him back something broken."Prior to George RR Martin, I considered Donaldson America's greatest fantasy writer. The Covenant books are great. Try them.

Children books that deal with gifted characters?

I am looking for books that contain gifted characters. I am aspiring to be an elementary school teacher and have been unable to locate any children books that deal with gifted characters. There are many childrens books that deal with special needs or children with disabilities, but I can't seem to find any that deal with the opposite. Children like to hear about characters they can relate to. So if you know of any short children books that have gifted characters in them please let me know.

By children's book, I mean a short 20-30 page book with pictures, Not a novel.
