Does Anyone Know Of A Car Accident That Happened At The Intersection Of Eastern Parkway And Bedford

Car Accident...anyone know...plz?

As some distance as I recognise, whoever "hits" has the legal responsibility or is "at fault". In different phrases, coverage businesses and regulation enforcements standpoint is, "If you're following all of the regulations of the street and security, there's in no way any intent to hit something." Now, if there used to be ice at the street, that would atleast make matters lean extra to your prefer, however I believe you must have a image taken that day of the stretch of street you slid on. That's why they are saying you must regularly have atleast a disposable digital camera to your auto to take a image of an coincidence and coincidence scene at the day of the coincidence, along side a mobilephone mobilephone, your coverage expertise, motive force's license and registration. Hopefully you might have auto coverage that allows you to pay even supposing it's your fault, or if no longer, plenty of peers and household that allows you to aid you on this time of trouble. There's plenty of different elements to recollect: used to be both of the drivers riding at the same time impaired, or in a hurry, did both go away the scene of the coincidence earlier than regulation enforecement arrived, what style of autos had been concerned, did each have auto coverage-dl license-registration-and many others... So optimistically, probably there is different elements which are to your prefer right here. In both case, it is a warning call to regularly force properly and defensively and hold as a lot house among you and different relocating autos or gadgets as viable, have a seat belt on, and shouldn't have any distractions like being attentive to the radio, consuming, ingesting, speaking on a mobilephone mobilephone, and many others... I recognise all this seeing that I've been riding for years now, and feature simplest been in a couple of injuries. In each coincidence besides one, any individual hit me and for a few intent none of them even had a motive force's license!!!! In the coincidence in which I hit any individual, I rear ended any individual, identical to you probably did. So for the reason that I "hit", it used to be my fault, despite the fact that the auto in entrance of me stopped brief and rather speedy, no longer giving me any time to quit. The simplest factor that stored me used to be that the auto I hit left the scene of the coincidence, and, from what I appreciate, it used to be a few style of coverage rip-off at the facet of the opposite motive force.

Why do car accidents happen??

nicely, for sure, its a terrible undertaking for each guy or woman in touch.. yet once you have been at fault for the accident... your coverage pays out for the deceased drivers motor vehicle maintenance.. and additionally probable pay the deceased drivers kinfolk below your actual harm ingredient of coverage. previous that- you may face expenses in the time of the police which incorporate manslaughter. regrettably- issues like this ensue yet once you're taking suitable precautions with the help of having coverage.. you additionally could make an unlucky adventure like this be fairly much less painful

A 4-way intersection right-of-way question...?

This may get confusing...At a 4-way intersection, controlled by stop signs, 3 cars approach - one heading straight east, one heading straight west, and one heading north. The car going north has indicated they will be making a left turn and yields to the east/west drivers.

As the east/west drivers enter the intersection, a 4th car (heading straight south) reaches the intersection. After the east/west cars are through the intersection, who has the right-of-way? The car heading north who reached the intersection first, but is making a left turn? Or the car heading straight south, but was the last to reach the intersection?

If anyone can answer this with a statute or semi-official "rule of the road" and not just "What would you personally do?" I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Two cars collide at an intersection?

Ok, I am confused about about colliding cards.

A car with a mass of 1000kg and a speed of 20 m/s approaches an intersection from the west. A 1500kg minivan travelling 25 m/s is heading to the same intersection from the south.

The car and the minivan collide and stick together.

Find the Speed and direction of the wrecked vehicles just after the collision, assuming external force can be ignored.

To set his up, Do I just say:

Pinitial = 1000kg * 20m/s + 1500kg * 25m/s = 57,500 N

Pfinal = 57,500 = 2500kg * Vfinal

Vfinal = 23 m/s

Or, do I do it as vectors and have P1^2 + P2^2 = Pfinal^2

and solve for Pfinal that way?

Where was the exact location of the car accident that injured, and eventually killed GEN Patton?

"there is a street car track that runs through the traffic circle, but not an actual train track. Does anyone know the exact location (street name, etc.) of where this accident took place?"

Here are some street-level images of the accident scene including location of tracks in relation to:
http://www.bargaintraveleurope.com/09/Ge...

"The accident reports are less than entirely clear and area has changed a great deal since 1945... Neustadter Strasse in a T-bone intersection, passing apartments on one side and the industrial complex headquarters of a German tech company, ABB, on the other from Neustadter to Kallstadter where an army depot was located. A railroad spur once ran down the middle of the street, but is now gone. This is generally regarded as the accident location, though some locals claim that it was farther south on Neustadter Strasse, where it turns across the rail spur..."

What do you say to someone that has just had a car accident and survived?

My car accident happened 3 months ago
and I wish some one had said that to me
but just saying "i'm glad you're okay" doesn't really take away the physical/emotional pain that comes with a traumatic experience.

I'm still hurt physically. They said if the van had hit me a couple inches closer I would be dead.

So really, nothing anybody could'a said would've helped. I think what you CAN do is give her a teddy bear and say..
"i'm glad you're safe....you can enjoy life and it's meant for you to be okay. I'm here if you EVER need anything...even at 3am at night if you need sum1 to talk to I'm here. It must be hard, I can't even IMAGINE what you are going through, but I'm here for you, okay?"

That should sum everything up and make her feel warm inside.

If involved in car accident and wrongly ticketed, what to do in court?

You REALLY need a lawyer.

This could seriously cost you without one. In the mean time, direct all the third party claims to the insurance company. Provide any third parties with information from the up-to-date insurance documents as required.

1. Assume the insurance company is responsible until YOUR lawyer tells you otherwise.
2. Don't address the matter of the accident to ANYONE other than your lawyer for now. The biggest witness against you could be yourself.
3. Insurance companies play fewer games when they have to deal with a knowledgable attourney instead of an 'ordinary' client. Have your attourney send a letter to the insurance company insisting that they verify the statements made re:cancellation and ask them to produce evidence, inclusive of any tape recordings and any methods of identification.

An audio recording would NOT be sufficient without elaborate testing to prove that it was your voice and that the cancellation was made PRIOR to the accident.

5. Depending on your local insurance laws, the insurance company may be guilty of a SERIOUS offense for trying to ditch you when you are merely trying to excersize your rights within the insurance agreement that you paid for. It is basically fraud on thier part but it might not be worded that way in your local laws. Still illegal to collect money for insurance then bail out when the s**t hits the fan.

As far as the ticket is concerned you BOTH would have to be running a yellow light. If the other driver admits to turning on ANY light other than a green, he would have contributed by commiting a similar offense. Take lots of pictures of damage too. The damage to the vehicle is more important than the fact that you hit two cars. Excessive damage means someone was speeding. Hitting X cars doesn't neccessarily mean that yu were speeding since physics can see some strange things happening (for example if you drive a heavy car and hit two lighter ones). Don't expect to get off scotch free though. Highly improbable.

Good luck. Slow down.

Who has the "right of way" when turning left at a intersection with lights?

This is an *easy* answer... You NEVER have the "right of way" when turning left....

-----
CVC21801. (a) The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left or to complete a U-turn upon a highway, or to turn left into public or private property, or an alley, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching from the opposite direction which are close enough to constitute a hazard at any time during the turning movement, and shall continue to yield the right-of-way to the approaching vehicles until the left turn or U-turn can be made with reasonable safety.
-----

You shall allow anyone else to go first. One lane, he gets to go first. He has two lanes to use have one, he still could be a hazard and thus you allow he to go first. If he has red light to stop, but he is going too slow to stop and will be running the stop -- he ALSO gets to go first. The law is very clear -- you NEVER have the "right of way" when turning left.
