This may get confusing...At a 4-way intersection, controlled by stop signs, 3 cars approach - one heading straight east, one heading straight west, and one heading north. The damage to the vehicle is more important than the fact that you hit two cars. Excessive damage means someone was speeding. Hitting X cars doesn't neccessarily mean that yu were speeding since physics can see some strange things happening (for example if you drive a heavy car and hit two lighter ones).
