Does anyone know an active Hetalia Roleplay site?
Try looking around at the larger cosplay groups. There are LOADS of Hetalia cosplayers now, and you are bound to find more in an active cosplay group than a Hetalia-specific one. I particularly recommend checking Deviantart as it tends to attract the higher quality players. Just be sure to be polite and unobtrusive as they can be a moody, defensive bunch at times.

I don't know of any specifically, but if you look through the directory at RPG-Directory, you might find something that suits what you're looking for. The directory there is checked almost monthly, so pretty much all of the boards listed have been updated within the last three months - minimum, and if you post as a player looking for a game, people will throw their active forums at you. :D
What's a good Anime Roleplay site?

Do you know any good places to roleplay (as in write)?
I’m playing an online game at the moment where, while there’s an in-game element (click to harvest your field, and so on), most of the “action” takes place in the forums, and is most definitely written roleplay. Roleplayer's Collage actually has a feature for this. It’s a rather quaint site that just finished rebranding but always looking for new members. Within these groups you can have multiple topics and each group is capable of customization in appearance. There’s also have access to photo uploading, video uploading via youtube links, blogs, and a general forum for use outside of groups.
What’s a good roleplay website?
For tabletop games, I think RPG Crossing is a really good one. It is PG-13 or cleaner. It’s got a thriving tabletop scene. Now, for some info you might not immediately realize just looking at the page: they have an entire section for people new to tabletops, oriented on d20 games, where you can get a 1x1 Game Master to help you learn! It’s one of the better set ups I’ve seen.RPGNet has a play-by-post section. However, while roleplaying definitely happens there, it is tabletop-oriented as well. The actual ‘main’ parts of the site are more about talking about tabletop rpgs moreso than playing.Another answer mentioned EnWorld for tabletop, and I agree; they are also a good place. So if you go to EnWorld and like them, consider giving an upvote credit to Chris Skiller, who mentioned it before me. Now, in my opinion, EnWorld has always been better for rpg news coverage than actual gaming, but maybe that’s just because I haven’t given them a fair shake at it yet.Most of the above sites have a limitation on content. If you want to actually explore mature themes in your roleplay or more tacitly acknowledge sex in your games, those sites probably won’t do. Personally, I would recommend Elliquiy Roleplaying Forums. (You must be 18+ to join and the site is NSFW). The site has an approval process, but the reason I recommend them in this instance is that they have both tabletop and more normal games (rolelays that don’t use dice!). And I would say the non-dice RPs are more prevalent than the tabletop ones, so you get a good mix of variety.

It is a great place with lots of diversity and active members, which really means that there’s something for anyone and everyone. It is an 18+ older site, which means that it is adults only.
