Does Anyone Know Of Any Good Steampunk Books

Does Anyone Know Of Any Enjoyable, Clean Steampunk Novels?

I love steampunk, but I am having trouble finding books that fit this genre that work for me. Too many of the ones I have found are over sexualized or has too much bad language. I ask that any books you suggest have a minimum of either/both in it. (Bonus points (not really…) for any with Airships.)

What are some good military steampunk books?

The Guns Above: A Signal Airship NovelRobyn Bennis’s THE GUNS ABOVE is an adventurous military fantasy debut about a nation's first female airship captain. They say it’s not the fall that kills you.For Josette Dupre, the Corps’ first female airship captain, it might just be a bullet in the back.On top of patrolling the front lines, she must also contend with a crew who doubts her expertise, a new airship that is an untested deathtrap, and the foppish aristocrat Lord Bernat, a gambler and shameless flirt with the military know-how of a thimble. Bernat’s own secret assignment is to catalog her every moment of weakness and indecision. So when the enemy makes an unprecedented move that could turn the tide of the war, can Josette deal with Bernat, rally her crew, and survive long enough to prove herself?“Full of sass and terrific characters. Great storytelling. Loved it.” ―Patricia Briggs

Lesbian Steampunk Books?

I'm really into steampunk fiction right now, but i can't seem to find any with lesbian romances/undertones. I'm not looking for a book that's all about the romance though. I'm usually fine with just reading things online but I've been having outrageous problems with my internet, so it really needs to be a book i can buy.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help :)

Whats a good Steampunk Novel?

There are a handful of useful lists on Amazon Listmania, which I would agree with (see links below).

Don't forget some of the 'original' stuff - like H.G. Wells's _The Time Machine_, and _The War of The Worlds_ - which you can get for free. They're still very entertaining.

Steampunk-ish book about a tiny prison?

So recently my friend told me about this book he really liked that was going to be a movie (Maybe?) He said it was steampunk-ish, and about this really small prison that was only like an inch tall. It has like hundreds of in-mates in it, and the story is about how the daughter of the warden of this prison thinks that this guy in the prison is the lost prince, and about the guy in the prison trying to escape following the path of this legend who might have escaped before. I thought it sounded really good, and I don't have a way to contact him quickly, I can only really send him a letter, and who wants to send a letter with just "What was that book you were talking about?" anyway, sorry if it was a really bad description, that's what I remember about how he described it. Thank you!

What are some good steampunk movies?

In addition to the films already mentioned, I enjoyed the steampunk elements of the Disney animated pictures Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet, especially the latter. Although the storytelling doesn't quite live up to that of the Disney Renaissance films, I always thought it was a shame that they performed rather poorly in comparison because the atmosphere is great in both.Trailer for Atlantis:Trailer for Treasure Planet:The Studio Ghibli film Howl's Moving Castle also falls within the steampunk aesthetic, and is of course beautifully animated:I'm not sure that it qualifies strictly as steampunk, but taking Tesla's machine and some of the other magicians' equipment into account, The Prestige has a good case for ranking among the best steampunk films:
