★★★★Loved the movie.Its was minions, minions minions everywhere..Loved the first part and couldn't wait to see the sequel. So took the gamble, went for the first paid preview show before the actual release on friday.The makers clearly understood it was the minions which made the 1st movie awesome and hence they gave more importance to them in this one- probably even more screen time than the 3 girls.I went to this movie with high hopes and expectations and I wasn't disappointed The minions clearly deliver and will surely make you laugh.Steve Carell was as usual awesome and hats off sir, for Gru's accent. Special mention to Kristen Wiig for portraying Agent Wild and Benjamin Bratt as Eduardo Perez/El Macho. They both did a really nice job though I personally thought El Macho wasn't up to Vector's mark in first.But it was full and full a minions movie- These minions will make you laugh and go "Awww.." every time they appear. The movie was armed with minions and full of adorability.The 3D effects were really nice and way better than the 3D effects of Croods and Monster's University. Never felt bored throughout the course of movie- nice editing.The music and sound effects were good and the main song "despicable me" at the end credits was also nice.Had there been a strong story or message or dialogues like kung fu panda, it would have been perfect.But looks like the makers had a clear idea about the Output- A fun movie for time pass and to entertain.So if you feel like cooling your heads after a busy and hectic week at work, I highly recommend this movie over the weekend. Its definitely worth the money.Overall, a likeable movie and I am rating it 4/5. Worthy sequel to the first.(Gosh! After reading my review, I'm already missing the minions. Looks like I will be going again this weekend.)

Why did the minions of the film DESPICABLE ME became more famous when DESPICABLE ME 2 is released even though the film is not as good as first part?
Because the minions appeal to the creative side of us, that defies reality, gravity and sanity. The ability to express and communicate even though its gibberish,the minions are what we call the unadulterated image which has no conformity to that of our real world...If there is one thing that our relaxed minds love its to think without a box, and thats what Minions are there for!!! :D however realistic or practical we all try to see and think end of the day our brain is a dreamer which will manifest a million impossible things in a fraction of a second
