Does anyone know the title/artist of this song?
I recently heard it in a lesbian film called "I can't think straight." I checked the movie soundtrack, but none of the songs sound like the one I heard in the movie. Help please! It was in a short scene, but here are some of the lyrics- *Note: the parentheses surround words that I had trouble discerning and may not be accurate! I was tread around and pummeled down and pushed into the water I was vilified and mortalized (…???...) holy water Through my smoke filled eyes I recognized your smile amongst the cheering And I knew I drown I’d be swallowed down cause the love you were sending (with cheering) All I thought I knew got washed right through and naked I was left there shaking All the twisted stares and (sniping) snares they got me up and (…… the taking) As you circled around your malicious crowd drew my blood into the water -- This is where the scene ended.
