Does Diana Ross Have Grandchildren

How many children does aretha franklin have and with who?

In March 1956, three days after her 14th birthday, Franklin gave birth to her eldest child, a son she named Clarence (for her father). In January 1957 she gave birth to another son, Edward. She never identified by name the father of either child. Her grandmother raised them. I 1967 she gave birth to Teddy, a son she had with Ted White, her husband from 61 - 69. From 1969 until 1976, she had a seven-year relationship with her road manager Ken Cunningham. Their son Kecalf (from the initials of his parents' names: Kenneth E Cunningham Aretha Louise Franklin and pronounced "kelf") was born on March 28, 1970. On April 11, 1978, Aretha Franklin married actor Glynn Turman. They didn't have kids and divorced in '84.

Seniors: Do you ever feel jealous/resentful of your grandchildren?

your mother is immature and petty. she's jealous of what she didn't have, but then she's the one who got knocked up at a tender age, right, so she has no-one to fault but herself. the older generation isn't big on taking responsibility and CHANGING their outlook. having said that, you might trying having a heart-to-heart (she is your mother, yes?) and asking her to try to be a bit more accepting and loving. Love is a learned behavior and she didn't get much of it. if she's getting worse, maybe she's got dementia?

What would be the title of Prince Harry's future wife and his children?

His future wife would become Princess Harry but he would also likely be given a peerage and probably a dukedom by the monarch as a wedding present. Previous royal dukedoms have been:
Albany
Albemarle
Avondale
Clarence
Connaught
Cumberland
Hereford
Kendal
Ross
St Andrews
Strathearn
Sussex
Teviotdale
Windsor
Personally I think Sussex or Clarence most likely.

As to his children's title it would depend on when or if Charles succeeds the throne. Only the children, male line grandchildren and the eldest son of the eldest son of the eldest son of the monarch may be considered a prince/princess of the United Kingdom. So if Harry has children before the Queen dies they will be Lord/Lady until Charles comes to the throne then they will be Prince/Princess Similarly with William is eldest son will be a Prince but the rest of his children will be Lord/Lady if they are born before the Queen dies. However with the likely change in succession laws it is highly likely that the Queen may change it so Williams eldest child regardless of sex would be a prince/ss.

What songs to sing for my first grandchild.......?

...it´s a baby girl, a month old. I´m thinking of a song to sing while I have her in my arms and that we both could sing together even if she´s grown up. A song of love, hope and courage. All styles are welcome but no rock, hip hop or rap. Maybe songs that are/was even used in films from a known artist?.
Please include the titles and the singers and I hope I could listen to it and download. I´m depending on you guys. I believe in you.
Thank you so much in advance.

My daughter wants to give up her child for adoption!?

my daughter is 28 wks with my first grandbaby. she is still with the father, they are engaged. we have offered to let them move home with us to help them out financially so she could stay home a while and then go back to school, and i would look after baby. her fiance has a good job but they have a lot of debt but they were going to be able to pay it off quickly if they were living with us. and that was the plan until a few days ago when she told us she is giving her baby up! i'm devastated! her fiance doesnt want her to but it seems like he might agree to it????? and his parents dont want them to...why is she doing this??? there is just no reason for it. she wanted this baby, or so we thought. then wednesday night, she told us she will be contacting an adoption agency.

is there anything i can do to stop this? if her fiance agrees to this, do we have any rights to this child at all?? we are in california. any help is appreciated.

What does it feel like to be retired?

Retirement did not work out for me. I had no choice but to return to the workforce due to financial issues from a domestic nightmare. Frankly, I was bored after a few months as one gets up in the morning with nothing to do…and by noon has it half done :)Ironically all my colleagues that retired and stayed retired only lasted about 2 years before they ended up dying of heart attacks and strokes. They had all the toys…boats, ATV’s, snowmobiles etc. They booked cruises, drove their RV around the country, golfed almost every day, but then started getting low on money. So they ended up in the easy chair with a beer in one hand, remote control in the other and a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. In my career choice, the average retiree-only cashed 16 pay cheques before they croaked. For many men, retirement is stressful, as the change is too dramatic. It can also be hard on the marriage. The wife often has a routine at home for housekeeping and this lump of protoplasm is in the way of the vacuum cleaner. She also gets irritated at the constant mess he makes and suddenly being stuck with a partner 24 hours a day which often ends up in separation and divorce.Ego plays a part as well. Men identify with their work. They were executives, mechanics, firefighters, pipeliners and now they are … retirees. Not something they can really identify with. When asked what they do for a living, some are sheepish to even admit that they are retired. It is not uncommon for men to become depressed and anti-social after a few months of retirement. Women, on the other hand, seem to handle retirement far better as they usually have a social life and perhaps grandchildren to enjoy. If you love what you do…don't retire. If you hate your job, then, retire with your pension and find the job you always wanted to do. We call it double-dipping as we are getting our pension from our prior job plus the revenue from our new job. Of course, the taxman loves us as well!

Have you ever considered 'become a grandparent' for your bucket list?

I have always dreamed of being a grandmother. Unfortunately that is not going to happen. My only adult son does not want to have children and neither does his wife. I have a grand dog and I love her. I have 4 surrogate grandchildren my niece and nephews children. I could not imagine loving my own more. I am crazy about them and they are my “life lines”. They make my life complete. There is nothing on my bucket list that would even compare to how I love and enjoy being with them. I live in another state but try and visit monthly. I Facetime with them and always plan fun activites with them. I take them places they have never been and we make beautiful memories. They make me feel like the most important person in the world. Twin girls and it is amazing watching them grow up. Also 2 boys and they are my future snipers. They make life worth living.

When a minor girl is pregnant, what are her parents' legal responsibilities to her related to her pregnancy, i.e. are they obligated to allow her baby to live in their home, are they obligated to get her prenatal care, can they kick her out of the house, etc.?

Lot's of bad information in the answers already posted. To begin with, neither a minor's pregnancy nor the birth of a minor's baby trigger emancipation. Parents still have at least the same duty to care for minor children after the birth of a grandchild. I emphasize at least because thirteen states have statutes making grandparents responsible for grandchildren's child support, in addition to a federal law that supports and encourages those statutes. While the parents of minor mothers are expected to accept a heavy burden, they have no parental rights or authority over the care of the grandchild, though the minor mother and grandchild live together under the grandparents roof, odd as that may seem. Here a minor mother retains parental rights while the consequences of her choices belong to grandparents. Meanwhile statutory rape applies to consensual sex because children lack the capacity to consent, but children can be charged with crimes as adults. The treatment of minor's under American law lacks common sense, probably because it reflects conflicting public policy interests, not a foundation rooted in common law.
