Does Dr Doom Wear A Helmet Or A Mask

Does Dr Doom wear a helmet or a mask?

its only a mask though he does wear a hood

Was Darth Vader based on Marvel's Dr.Doom?

Has it ever been revealed that Darth Vader (a scared face villain who wears a mask) was in any way influenced by Marvel's Dr. Doom (another scared face villain who wears a mask). I know George Lucas was a comic book fan since he did make the "Howard The Duck Movie".

What could happen if Dr. Strange wore the helmet of Dr. Fate? Would he become unbeatable?

To be very honest, my friend, I don’t know that much about Dr. Fate. However, one thing is certain, that Dr. Fate’s strength depends on the wearer of his helm. I remember in the Young Justice cartoon, Kid Flash wears the helm once and Fate claimed that he cannot be very strong as the wearer’s body has no experience with supernatural force. He got stronger when Zatanna wore it and got even stronger when Zatara wore it.In my scale, Zatara is weaker than the sorcerer supreme, Dr. Strange. So, yes. I do believe Dr. Strange wearing Dr. Fate’s helmet will be a force to reckon with. I’m thinking Odin level power, a sliver short of Galactus.

What if Dr. Strange found and wore the Helmet of Dr. Fate (Classic)?

I’m gonna assume that the Dr.Fate’s helmet magically appeared the Marvel Universe.I don’t watch Dr.Strange but I know about Dr.Fate’s Helmet (aka Helmet of Fate). Anyway, if Dr.Strange wore the helmet then his consciousness would perish from this realm. The host’s consciousness goes into the helmets realm. The Helmet of Fate isn’t just a magic enhancer, it has it’s own consciousness, and controls the body of whoever wears it. The helmet can’t come off it’s host unless the Helmet of Fate decides to take itself off the host. So, to answer you question…Will wearing the Helmet(along with the amulet of Anubis & orb of Nabu) of Dr Fate(Classic) make Dr Strange stronger & more powerful? No, but the Helmet of Fate’s magic would be hell of a lot stronger.2. Will this power & knowledge help him in his fight against many of Marvel’s demons(like Dormammu & Mephisto) & villains(like Dr Doom & Thanos)?Yes. The Helmet of Fate would definitely fight anyone who tries to harm people.

Theoretically, can the helmet of Nabu be removed in combat by an opponent? Has this ever been attempted?

It can, in fact.In Injustice 2(I’ve been writing a lot about Injustice lately) Black Canary and Green Arrow are attempting to take down the Society when Doctor Fate arrives. I believe this was the third mission. Doctor Fate attempts to save them from the impending doom that is Brainiac, but Canary and Arrow refuse. He then attempts to force them into leaving with him.So, after a bunch of button mashing, they defeat Fate. They then forcefully remove his helmet, freeing him from the spirit of Nabu. He then leaves. So not only has it been done before, it was done by Black Canary and Green Arrow. One has no powers, and one has limited powers that wouldn’t help much in any big fight, as in comics characters appear to be in intense pain before immediately reverting to normal.

If Doctor Doom were to be in the MCU, who would be a perfect choice to play him?

The Fantastic Four has always been one of my favorite comics and Dr. Doom would easily rank as my favorite villain. The Fantastic Four is Marvel’s flagship property, the comic that launched the Silver Age of comic books. Getting the right Doom is important and Fox has yet to get it right. Also, Doom is a tricky one to cast. You need someone who is capable of “going over the top” with their acting and has a strong physicality to their performance because so much of the role is buried under the costume. Yet they also have to be able to convincingly and subtly emote for the close-up shots where all you can see through the mask is the actor’s eyes. An Eastern European accent would be nice but an English one would work too. And lastly, they should be handsome and able to convey an air of pompous royalty in any flashback or pre-accident scenes that the story requires. Within those parameters, I’d cast Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, best known as Jamie Lannister from Game of Thrones.

What was the inspiration for the design of Sith masks in Star Wars?

I think we can disregard the masks in the Expanded Universe because all their designs can be traced to the original trilogy, and that source would be none other than Vader.Vader's armor and helmet was designed by Ralph McQuarrie, who visualized many of the movie's iconic characters.Ralph also worked on numerous other science fiction works, such as Star Trek and Cocoon, for which he was one of the winners of the 1985 Academy Award for Visual Effects. Several influences have been noted in the design of Vader's armor, most notably the kabuto helmets worn by the Japanese samurai or stahlhelms used by German soldiers during the early 20th century.Others have pointed out Dr. Doom's mask as a possible influence, though I haven't found any indication this is more than a rumor. However, from what I understand, the most notable source of inspiration came from a well-known television character. The Lightning, the supervillain of the classic movie serial The Fighting Devil Dogs from 1938. The Lightning is hailed for being the first costumed supervillain. There was a link on Wookieepedia to an article at Page on miami.com dedicated to the men that designed the armor. Unfortunately that link is now inactive.
