Does Eating Chickpea Boiled Reduces The Amount Of Protein

Does eating chickpea boiled reduces the amount of Protein?

It doesn't make any difference. Boiling the them will denature the protein, meaniing it will cause it to change its shape which is why the chickpea changes when boiled, but this doesn't matter because your body breaks down the protein into the protein's building blocks of amino acids anyway when the protein is digested. It's the same amount of protein.

And lol... "pure natty".... no protein supplements. e.e What a meaningful distinction, since now you're just going to waste time cooking food you could've gotten from a protein supplement. -.-

And you eat BCAAs every time you eat a food containing protein. That's all those supplements you listed are. They're just a type of high protein food.

Why not be an ultra PURE NATTY and not cook your food? Process it as little as possible so it is more real.

Does boiling chickpeas kill its protein content?

Cooking enhances the digestibility of protein in the chickpeas though there might be minimum loss of protein. One experimental study has found reductions in aminoacids content of chickpeas such as methionine, arginine, tyrosine, leucine, cysteine and lysine. The highest reduction found in lysine (13.5%) and cysteine(15%) .Overall protein loss found in this study was 3.4%. But because of structural changes in the globular fraction of the protien ,the digestibility of the protein found to be increased by 12% . This means protein availabilty will be enhanced by cooking the chickpeas.Protein content of chickpeas is 19 g per 100g and loss will be 0.646 g per 100g at 3.4%.

Does boiling a vegetable or legume destroy its protein content?

I believe most legumes cannot be eaten raw and needs to go through a cooking process before consumption: Cooked Beans or Sprouted Beans?''I am not 100% sure if boiling vegetables/legume will destroy/affect its protein content. With the above being said, water-soluble nutrients like vitamin C and vitamin seem to be the most vulnerable to cooking. See:  The New York TimesOn the other hand, some nutrients become more absorbable upon cooking. For example, we get three times more antioxidants in cooked carrots than raw. More cancer fighting indoles in cooked broccoli and more lycopene in cooked tomatoes. Are chickpeas poisonous if eaten on regular basis?

The foliage and seedpods contain oxalic acid and can irritate the skin. There is also one report that the foliage is poisonous--this might relate to the oxalic acid. Oxalic acid can lock up certain nutrients in the diet, especially calcium, and therefore heavy use of foods that contain this substance can lead to nutritional deficiencies. Cooking will greatly reduce the oxalic acid content. People with a tendency to rheumatism, arthritis, gout, kidney stones or hyperacidity should take especial caution if including this plant in their diet since the oxalic acid can aggravate their condition.

Here is a website about the Chick Pea.

Why do the lentils lose the protein content when they are boiled?

As for as I know, all the lentils have an outer skin. If you soak and cook it without breaking the skin, no protein will get lost during cooking. Also it is easy to digest the cooked lentils.

Can i eat soaked chickpea?

soaking chickpeas and other pulses is actually recommended, as it starts off the sprouting process, changes the chemical composition somewhat to make them healthier, and it releases some type of sugar substance which would otherwise cause bloating and make them harder to digest if they are cooked from dry. Even if you plan to cook them, they should be soaked overnight for this reason - and it also reduces the cooking time. But yes you can eat them raw too, I would probably wait till I saw they were just starting to sprout (this is when a little white root starts to emerge). But you should throw away the soaking water and rinse the chickpeas again (whether you're cooking them or eating them raw and just-sprouted) as it'll have the substances which cause the bloating in it.
I can't say whether it will reduce your weight, as that depends on many factors ... but chickpeas are low in fat and high in other healthy nutrients, so it will probably help, especially if you are eating them instead of something fatty.

here's a little introduction to their nutritional value...

I ran out of cat food? feeding boiled chicken.?

Yes it's OK. Animal protein from muscle meat is great for them, and boiled chicken is usually easily digested by cats. It wouldnt be OK for a complete diet because it does not have all the things she needs for example calcium, and taurine ( taurine is in meat but cooking deactivates it so it is added back in in cat food.) But there's no problem feeding this for a day. or even adding some with their regular food to boost the protein amount (but don't feed just regular cooked chicken as more than a third of their total intake.)

There's also actually nothing wrong with sometimes feeding kittens adult cat food. After all, there are no "kitten mice". Cats in the wild eat the same no matter what their age. BUTif not specifically kitten food it should be one of the foods that say "for all life stages" or "for cats and kittens" Those tend to be the high quality 'super premium" brands.

( But in a pinch, one could occasionally feed a kitten a meal of a supermarket kind of canned cat food. Friskies is not high quality but still does have animal protein and fat; and though it probably has some parts with low nutritional value it probably also has nutritious organ meat etc. I would not get into a habit of feeding a lower quality adult cat food to kittens but it is not the end of the world if they eat a can of Friskies But really the boiled chicken was a better choice. )

The Friskies "paté" varieties are at least a lot better than dry food with high amounts of grains. Not that it sounds like you feed that anyway. In canned food, I would avoid the kinds with chunks, shreddeds etc or 'in gravy" all of which are a sign of too much carbs / sugar It's not (except in some of the ultra premium food)actually chunks or shreds of muscle meat, it is formed with stuff like wheat gluten.

Can we eat boiled black gram daily?

Of course you can! In fact, it is recommended that one serving of beans, peas, chickpeas i.e., gram or lentils is taken everyday for better weight management. Including chickpeas in your diet, especially those that are boiled like you mentioned, will make you feel fuller for a longer time and control your weight without you needing to have a strict diet (Now, isn’t that a much easier and healthier way?). Chickpeas or gram as you would call, provide essential vitamins and minerals to your body, especially those that are freshly boiled, and also plant based protein. Thus, the consumption of these nutrients will help to improve digestion and muscle building, maintain blood sugar levels and aid your body in creating hemoglobin and important antibodies. These are just some major benefits as to why you should be eating boiled gram (or chickpeas) everyday, but I’d advise you to look it up online for more detailed information.Hope it helps!
