Does Facebook Messenger Record Your Calls All The Time And Are They Being Saved

Is Facebook video calling secure? Does the video save on to Facebook database or can a hacker watch the video talk we do with our partner? Is hangout video chat and Facebook video calling safe?

OK.. lets discuss the possibilities:Usually, such data is encrypted and nobody can see them except you, until you authorise someone. Facebook already has authorisation to all the data and they can view anything any time.Unknowingly, you give authorisation to many other 3rd party apps. For example, you allow these photo/video apps, games, horoscopes, and so many other services access to your profile. If your profile gets hacked, videos cannot be accessed because these videos are not saved on your profile. But, if the whole FACEBOOK gets hacked, even then the possibility of your data being accessed by the hacker is 1 in a billion. If you are concerned about your private video chat, something which cannot be exposed to anyone else except the one you are chatting to, make sure the person is 100% trustworthy. Otherwise, they may record your video or take screenshots and use it for things you may not feel comfortable with. Though you can lodge a complaint with the cops and cyber crime department, the damage done cannot be reversed. All the above applies to Hangouts too. Google has the access. And the person you are talking to might turn out to be a jerk.My advice to everyone who use video calling: DO NOT share any private information or get into adult video calling with someone you do not completely trust. They can do a lot of harm, and you don't want that. Thanks and be safe :)

If you deactivate your facebook account, can people still send you messages?

If you deactivate your account from the "Deactivate Account" section on the Account page, your profile and all information associated with it are immediately made inaccessible to other Facebook users. What this means is that you effectively disappear from the Facebook service. However, Facebook does save your profile information (friends, photos, interests, etc.), so if you want to reactivate at some point, your account will look just the way it did when you deactivated. Many users deactivate their accounts for temporary reasons and expect their information to be there when they return to the service. You will not be able to receive messages while your account is deactivated.

If you do not think you will use Facebook again and would like your account deleted, they can take care of this for you. Keep in mind that you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added.

Is it possible that even after leaving a group conversation, a user can read the rest of the conversation that happened between the other members of the group chat?

Everyone got it wrong. The answer is, unfortunately, YES. The person who has left or has been removed from a Facebook group chat can STILL read the whole conversation (ALL conversation prior to leaving the group). This recently happened to us and it’s frustrating that Facebook doesn’t have any answer/resolution to this.Even if ALL the members of the group chat leave the conversation, the conversation history is still visible to EVERYONE. A member who has been removed or left the group can still find that particular group chat by searching for it on Messenger (both mobile app/desktop) using the group name or by simply searching the name of one of its previous members (it will show up as a suggestion). The only way to make it completely disappear from being searched is to "Delete" the conversation aside from "Leaving" only. However, this will only delete the group chat from the end of the person who has deleted it and NOT from the other person who hasn't deleted it yet. Even the if original group chat creator delete it, it’s still visible to other members. We accidentally added a person in a group chat and removed him afterwards. However, we found out that that person can still read all the past conversions from that group even he didn't engage at all! When you're talking "bad" about someone on a group chat and accidentally added him, removing him won't keep him from seeing all the conversations. It looks like the group conversation is saved permanently. Blocking the person doesn’t make any difference either!
