Does Ghost Whisperer Have An Unfinished Ending

Was the ending of Lost; 'It was all a dream, they're dead'?

No. It wasn't a dream, but they were all dead by that point, and the flashsideways was each individual's limbo. The stuff about being on the Island all happened.

Does Ghost Whisperer end properly in Season 5 (the final season) or does it end on a cliffhanger?

well the fifth season really was a let down compared to the others (in my opinion) but it did end properly with two cheesy but nice lines to finnish it off. but the story itself never really ends due to its nature (in that i mean, how it would only end if they all died or lost the power to see ghosts).

Although the main idea of the season was resolved, so you can assume things would continue somewhat normally after wards (as in the previous seasons-- how they just helped ghosts out and stuff).

Why do some people become ghosts?

Here is a Theory you need to consider: There are many cases where a person will forget something in their lives that was extremely traumatic. If something happened and they are simply unable to cope with the repercussions of the event they will force themselves to block it out of their memories until a time when they are ready and able to deal with it, sometimes going to extreme measures distorting their views of the world around them to keep from facing that which would be too harmful to face.

Now think about this:
If a person were to die and they were not ready, is it too hard to believe that perhaps they would not be able to block this out. They would still be able to "live" on here until a time that they were ready to accept what has happened? Whether it was a time that they were ready to make peace with what happened to them and move on, or make their peace with God and be allowed to move on, they would be stuck here seeing the world around them only as they remembered it and moving about their "daily lives".

I have been studying the paranormal for years and am part of a group of experienced paranormal investigators, we have seen evidence of ghosts but usually not the "evil fire breathing demons" you see in the movies. In most cases it is a matter of a spirit that will not know you are even there or you are just another person to them. They do not realize they are no longer living and will pass on when they are ready, they just need time to make their own peace and accept, still feeling their bodies, still seeing "their" world and "living" as they did.

Nobody knows the full power of the spirit and though nothing has been proven (yet) we must keep an open mind and think it may be possible. There have been millions of documented cases of paranormal experiences, from ghostly sightings, to people having out of body experiences when near death. There are also the many cases of "ghost limbs" where an amputee will still feel pain or a tickle from a limb that was no longer there. If they can feel something from just a part of their body that is gone, what happens when the whole body is gone, will the spirit, the soul sustain us?

All we can do now is keep an open mind and realize that one day we will all know the answer.

In the LOST finale, how come only some of the characters made it to the church?

As I understand it, the side-verse reality that didn't show up until after the bomb went off is actually a construct of the oceanic survivors so that they can meet up again after they die. This explains all the "let go" talk and all of those flashes the side-verse people experience.

We the audience follows Jack's perspective of dying and then going to the church. This all makes sense to me, BUT what decided who got into the church and who didn't? Most of the characters in the church were from the oceanic crash, but some were not (Juliette, Penny). Ben was outside the church and spoke to Hurley, but Ben had technically never left the island his whole life. What happened to the other characters like Daniel who were in the side-verse and had those flashes?

Any other thoughts?

Do muslims believe in ghosts?

How do you define ghosts? Souls of dead people who have some unfinished business or had violent deaths etc?Muslim belief says that after a person dies, his soul is taken and placed in a state called Barzakh. Which is something like a staging area before the day of judgement (Sorry I am learning data management). No soul can escape from that state.Muslims generally believe in three (or two, depending on how you look at it) kinds of supernatural entities.Angels - Created by Allah to worship Him and obey His commands. They do not have free will so there is no concept of fallen angels in Islam. They cannot fall because they cannot sin or revolt against Allah.Iblis and his minions: Iblis or Satan is the one who misguides people, creates fights between couples, whispers into hearts to create confusion and mischief etc. He also has his minions to do his work.Jinn: Like humans, they have free will and can be either good or evil. They also live as communities, forming families etc. They are made of fire. The Quran has a Surah which talks about a group of Jinn who heard the Quran and become Muslims after that. Surah Al-Jinn [72]In the end, Allah knows best. I hope this helps.

What is your worst "I've hit send too soon" story?

Sean thanks for the A2A.I was at a conference sitting next to my divisonal head who was my 1 up manager, the Chief HR Officers, who reported directly to the CEO.He was an insufferable man who didn't know the A 2 Z of security but would want us to do things his way.For most bits the other managers on our team would do what he wanted and lo and behold they rose rapidly in the firm.My manager who was our department head and i however put our foot down on stupidity. For this event my Manager wasn't present as he had to fly out for other work so he had me fly in and supervise. On the day itself the CHr drove me nuts constantly changing things when i wasn't looking or then revoking my orders. At some point in time i decided to document all the instances on email and send it to my manager so we could take it up later with the CHr.Day end approaches and i send off the email.A few seconds later browsing my sent items i just went numb.Instead of my boss i sent it to the CHr.There he was sitting next to me and i had been ranting about him and sent it to him.I had only one thing i could do which is what i did.I turned to him and asked him to go to his BlackBerry inbox and delete a message i had accidentally sent to him.He was like why should.I told him it was pertaining to a matter i was working on and i just got new information so i need to factor that in and it could weongly influence his decision if he read it now.So he deleted the message.Of course it went to his trash folder. So i made him clear out the trash folder. As crazy as he was he also listened to me at times. This was one of those.I completed 3 more years there and got promoted. He got the boot about the time i left for another opportunity.I live to write about it.
