Dinking one cup isnt going to help. The best way to lose weight is drinking about 3-4 cups daily. It has to be real unfermented green tea...it cant be flavored like wild berries and stuff like that because it contains chemicals. I suggest you go to a local asian store that sells green tea from China, Taiwan or Japan...which are the only countries that make them. Green tea prevent diseases and aids in weight loss by increasing the metabolism. Depending on how much you drink, you can lose about 50-100 extra calories a day just by drinking it alone. Youll lose even more if you exercize and eat healthy. I drink about 6+ cups a day cause i dont like soda and it tastes better than water.

If you're drinking green tea from a bottle complete with sugar and added junk, then no. If you're drinking brewed green tea from a teabag, then yes. It has antioxidants, which are good for you. It has a small amount of caffeine which is an appetite suppressant (but a small amount a day is good, don't go crazy with the coffee or you'll just end up dizzy all day). It also provides you with more fluids. Water does wonders when trying to lose weight. It is important to detox when losing weight because fat cells can store toxins you ingest.

Green tea has worked for me! Though along with drinking green tea you still need to diet and exercise, because if you don't diet and exercise and take in like 3000 calories a day thinking you drank your green tea and you are going to lose weight you are wrong!!! Green tea will only make the weight loss process faster!!! ........another thing do not eat after dinner and have dinner at like 6:00 PM.......and eat when you are hungry but eat things like tomatoes and/or fruits but veggies are a whole lot better with losing weight then fruit because fruit has that extra sugar and fat.
ohhh......yeah and i drink one cup of Bromley (a blend of pure green teas) in the morning
