Why do some liberals think Obama is squeaky clean when there are sources claiming that he and Michelle lost their law licenses to avoid charges?

I want to start out by saying I am not a liberal and I am not an Obama supporter. I am a radical, and I opposed both Obama and for what it's worth Hillary Clinton.That said, this is A “when did you stop beating your wife?” question. It presupposes a factual claim that is untrue. The Obamas never "lost” while licenses in the way that Bill Clinton did as part of a disciplinary proceeding, nor were they forced indirectly to get them up to avoid such proceedings. Much less charges. No public disciplinary proceeding has ever been brought against either of them, contrary to a false Internet rumor. they voluntarily went on inactive status, avoid a requirement to take continuing education classes and pay hundreds of dollars in annual fees. They could clearly afford the fees, but the CLE classes — I speak as a practicing lawyer — are a pain in the neck. You can confirm this with the AAR DC in Illinois, where I believe they got their law licenses. it matter of public record. Both could practice law again if they chose to do so. They would have to pay their biographies and go on in active status, which they could.In saying that I am not endorsing the proposition that Obama is "squeaky clean." But his corruption is probably legal and other sort that you would approve. He is a creature of penny Pritzker and the Pritzker family, and the Chicago real estate industry. They originally back him and financed him, elevating at first to the Illinois legislature, then to the US Senate, at five White House.In Illinois, he made his bones for the real estate and finance industry by engaging in and supporting as a legislator various kinds of shady practices that resulted in thousands of poor black families losing their or becoming my road debt. He Rewarded Penny Pritzker making her commerce secretary in his second term, something which he could not do in his first term, because she was under the geisha, and if recollection serves, fined for these practices.My guess is that someone who would ask a question such as the one you posed would think that this is all hunky-dory.

Why are some liberals so condescending toward Trump supporters? Do they really feel they are superior?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic.It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people.So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative.It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”

How do liberals feel about President Trump saving thousands coal jobs by getting rid of job killing regulations from the Obama Administration?

There was a time in American history when the automobile was invented and gave birth to a whole new industry that continues on to this day. A very painful side effect of the birth of cars was people no longer needed horse drawn buggies so the blacksmiths and stable owners saw their jobs evaporate overnight. Would you go back and un-invent the car so those jobs could be saved?That is how dumb it is to prop up the coal industry. Coal is inevitably going to die to make way for renewable energy. This is not an option - coal is finite, so some day it will run out and the human race will either have another option or die. If Trump really cared about those coal miners, he would be working on an infrastructure plan, that retrains them for a new industry, provides infrastructure jobs to hold them over while retraining, and structure an insurance plan that actually contains some actual benefits.Those so called job killing regulations are the pitifully weak rules that protect Americans from unlimited pollution of the air and water. Even with those weak measures we still had a major American city (Flint) get lead poisoning. There is no such thing as a for profit corporation that will incur costs to be a reasonable steward to the environment unless there is a rule that makes it more expensive for them to pollute than follow the rule. So your plan is the honor system to prevent poisoning of the air and water? Also one final question if these regs killed so many jobs then how in the hell is the unemployment rate under 5%?
