Does My Makeup Look Natural

How can I make my makeup look more natural (I have acne so I always use full coverage foundation)?

Hello,Before writing my answer for you, i totally agree with Ms. Ruhee Moola, M.Arch Architecture’s answer. Yes, it’s not happen by a day effort and it is not happen by good make-up artist to make up natural make-up.No matter how you effort on your make-up, unless you have good base of clean skin, you will not have natural looking make-up. As a person who has dark freckles, i tried so many different medical treatments, and applied many good skin care products, and also putting make-up products thick to hide my freckles. As a previous make-up artist, i now can mostly cover the freckles with many good make-up products. But, i have to not expect to have very natural looking make-up when my facial skin is in very dry. Because when i don’t pay much to take care of my freckles, it gets easily darker and it is difficult to hide it even with make-up. Then, my makeup on my face becomes heavy to hide it. But when i maintain good pH balance of my facial skin with good health care, the freckles color becomes lighter. So, i can make my makeup much lighter. Therefore, i suggest you to try to have better condition of facial skin condition first. Continuous maintaining to be in best skin condition ( pH5.5) is very important. So, you need to supplement water enough and use good quality of skin care products for your sensitive skin. When you continue to take care of your acne skin, your skin becomes in stable & peaceful condition. Makeup after these all this done, you will get better looking natural looking light makeup face. Please try pH5.5 Balancing Cleanser and IME Mist & Essense to make your acne in stable. And your acne on your face is much serious case, you have to get medical treatment from dermatologist. If you want to have more information about my recommended skin care of products, please check in special offer section & cleanser section of www.beautyabide. comGood Luck for your Acne cure and have natural looking light makeup!

Thanks for the A2A. I don’t know if it’s all that natural considering I have eyeshadow on, but I’m not much for natural makeup lol.

How do actresses keep their makeup look natural in movies/ TV shows?

I think it mostly has to do with their foundation. Some makeup artists like to use airbrushing foundation for a better, more perfect look...
But they also re apply usually between scenes just to keep it fresh. Some people in movies even start from scratch between scenes. they take it off, and then re apply.
Tips?? :)
Foundation: Use a foundation that really matches your skin tone. Make sure that it matches your undertone as well! If you really want to make sure that it matches, go to a counter and get matched with the proper shade.
Don't cake face, sweety. It's not pretty.
Wear as little foundation as possible. Cake-face is just.. wrong...
Eyeliner: Wear a thin line instead of thick cat eyeliner if you're going for a natural look. Try wearing brown eyeliner once in a while. If you want a really natural look, just tightline your upper waterline. (Youtube that if you dont get what I mean). It's like... wearing eyeliner without the look of wearing eyeliner.
Wear white eyeliner on your bottom waterline just to make your eyes pop, seem whiter and brighter.
Eyeshadow: Wear neutrals (browns). Like instead of white, use cream. Instead of black, use brown. Try out some different eyeshadow finishes. Like try matte, shimmer, glitter, chrome, and then pick which one you like best.
My personal favourites are matte and shimmer. Matte is really nice because it's... simple and solid. Shimmer's pretty sweet and innocent, depends on how you use it :)

I only wear a little foundation on my cheeks just because my skin tone is a little uneven there. And.. I don't wear mascara. My lashes are a pretty decent length and fullness... plus i find mascara is the hardest thing to get off. :/
I will be completely honest. I don't follow those rules when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner. I... Like eyemakeup. :) Hahahah... I wear a neautral smokey eye to school like everyday... Sometimes it's really dark too... hahah
anyway
goood luck :)

How can I make my makeup look less orange?

you're using the wrong color foundation. you look orange because the makeup you're putting on your face is a different color than your skin. if you look orange or tan with the makup on its likely too dark a shade. I had this same problem, after a clerk at the makup counter in a department store matched my color. She chose too dark of a shade because the lighing was bad. It looked fine in the store but the next day at school i looked like i had gotten a tan. Also, flourescent lighting will make any mismatch in the shade of foundation and your skintone painfully obvious.

Why does my makeup ALWAYS look cakey?

I wear makeup everyday, and this is what I use : foundation and concealer. I have looked up how to avoid looking cakey on youtube but it doesn't help! I don't put on a lot of foundation, just enough to get rid of the redness. I use a buffing brush to blend it all in. And then I put concealer on my spots. It ALWAYS looks cakey. I stopped using powder cause it was so obvious that I was wearing it. I have big pores and oily skin. I also have peach fuzz on my face, is that why it's cakey? Please help

Why does my eye makeup look bad and messy?

Blending - You could be blending your eyeshadow incorrectly. A light color in the inner corner is a universally flattering look. You should blend in from the outer corner in small circles. This will create a nice, smoky effect.Color Combo - You might be using a color combo that clashes, or is unflattering. For my daily look, I use three nude colors: one very light and shimmery, one medium brown and shimmery, the other dark brown and matte. I apply the light color to my crease and inner corner, about halfway down the eye, and then put the medium color across the whole eye. Then, I apply the dark color on the outer corner about halfway in and blend inwards. You probably don’t need this tutorial, but my point is to keep it simple, use only three colors for your daily routine, and try to have them be the same color, just different shades. Of course, you can do more, but if your shadow looks messy this is probably the best bet.Mascara - Mascara puts your whole look together, and the way you apply it means everything. Don’t get caught up in trying to make them look long, make them more voluminous. I use Covergirl’s Lash Blast mascara, in the orange tube as it helps volume. You can get this in any Walgreens and similar store, and I highly recommend it. Most of you mascara should be applied at the base of your lashes, though you should still work on length, obviously.Eyeliner - With this, I don’t even bother most days. If I were you, I would stick to a smoky eye, something that doesn’t need eyeliner, and is sometimes worsened by it. If you want to include it in your daily routine, I suggest just doing the lash line, and no wing until you get good. Practice making winged eyeliner before you shower, so it will wash off soon after you do it, and it’s a good way to get an experience and style. That’s all I have for you. Hope this is helpful! If not, tell me your specific problem.

My makeup looks bad in the sunlight! Does that mean that I should get a darker shade?

Powder tends to sit on top of the skin rather than sink in so it's usually going to be obvious in the sun. Maybe you should switch to a creme or liquid foundation instead and just make sure that you really buff it into your skin and bring it down your neck so it doesn't look as obvious.
