What is "OBAMACARE"? ?
Obamacare is the name the republicans use instead of the actual name of the health care reform laws, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. People despise it because of a number of factors.... mainly : 1. They don't know what it does. 2. They think it costs money. 3. They have been told that it does things that it doesn't do. 4. They think it is unconstitutional(because they don't know what it does and don't understand the existing legal precedence). The law does lots of things(see wiki links below and library of congress for text) covering some 2000+ pages, so I can't really describe them here. It does not create socialized medicine. The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office(CBO) says the law will save the country money over the next decade(not cost money). It does impose a tax penalty if you don't have health insurance(You don't have to have it, you just have to pay a penalty at tax time if you don't have health insurance). It also adjusts the health insurance policy standards(ie parents can cover children longer and you can't be rejected because you have a pre-existing condition). It doesn't create any sort of death panel that decides when you will die. It does allow doctors who talk to you about end of life care to charge the time to the insurance. It does not create a national insurance program, so you don't have to worry about doctors not accepting it. I personally think its a good thing for society, but I don't think the federal government is the right place to do it.

Well of course they should if they were actually patriotic Americans rather than party loyalis. Look though to be fair, what is going on now is “Obama’s tan suit scandal” vs an administration so full of scandal and wrong doing that the President’s unsecured phone is less than peanuts compared to everything else. Obama and HRC really did not do anything wrong or scandalous. Millions upon millions of dollars and decades were spent trying to find criminal or even scandalous behavior against HRC. There was nothing there. She was a hard working civil servant who had the misfortune of being a woman and a woman married to a man who was a real threat to the Republican party because he embraced everything that was good about the Republican party. Obama was so clean that they had to attack him for someone he might be associated, the way he saluted a soldier, or his clothing.So what it comes down to is that it isn’t that the insecurity of Trump’s phone isn’t important. It is that that importance does not reach critical mass for grabbing attention when there is so much more going on. If the MSM were concentrating on this issue then the Republicans would be forced to take a position and defend it. As it is, there is no reason for them to do so and politically there is reason to sweep it under the rug.

WE ARE BECOMING THIRD-WORLD AT AN EXTREMELY HIGH RATE WITH ALL OF THE SCAVENGING IMMIGRANTS. WHICH MEANS DIFFERENT BELIEFS, AND MORE PEOPLE TO WORRY ABOUT OFFENDING. Why does Obama still think that people care about what he thinks?
The irony of asking why Obama thinks people care what he thinks… It hurts. Almost literally.I’m not a fan of his by any means. But he’s been quite good at keeping his mouth shut on the actions of his successor. To the point that millions of his fans are pleading with him to “speak out.”Obama is 100% aware that his words cannot accomplish anything in the political environment of 2017. But his supporters still desperately want to hear him say something - anything! - to condemn Trump. What the fuck they expect it to accomplish is beyond me. Guess they’ve fully bought into the resist fantasy where outrage and retweets are actual political currency.But Obama knows better. He knows this is all a Leftist Virtue-Signalling Circle Jerk™. He knows that no matter how dearly people want the former president to join in on the action it will do nothing to change the situation, and so he remains silent. He observes reality for what it is and adapts accordingly.I have to wonder what reality distortion field could leave someone so backwards from reality. To imply that Obama has been speaking excessively is silly. To believe nobody cares about his words is to be wilfully blind.
