Does Putin Ever Smile

Is Putin evil or not?

He's the leader of the KGB, an organization with lots of power to kill any opposition. He is a proud Communist, an organization and concept which has resulted in the death of millions (if not billions) of innocent people due to greed. The voting statistics are for show and for show only. They are to convince other nations that Russia has a functional democracy, when in fact, it doesn't.

You are right, not all Russians are evil. However, anyone in a position of power in Russia only achieved it through murder, manipulation and cover-ups.

Yes, he is evil beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Is there a reason Vladimir Putin doesn’t smile?

If you were to walk the streets of Moscow of St. Petersburg, you'd notice that no one walks around with a beaming smile. It'll happen in a closed group of family and friends, whether in public or in private, but it's not the public face you show to people you don't know. You'll see plenty of pictures of Putin smiling in personal moments, when he's with his family or his dog or doing something that matters to him with people he knows and is comfortable with. When he's shaking hands with Obama and smiling he's showing the world that the two of them are on familiar and friendly terms while Obama is simply being polite and pleasant. It's simply a cultural difference.

Whose smile is better: Kim Jong-un or Vladimir Putin?

Kim Jong-unVladimir PutinKim Jong-un has a childlike quality about his smile and seems very endearing. His smile and laughter are very unrestrained.Vladimir Putin is almost always in control of his emotions and he hardly ever lets himself go in public. He reminds me of “Monalisa”.Between Kim Jong-un and Putin the former has a better smile.

Did Vladimir Putin smile or laugh when he was interviewed about deaths he was responsible for?

Vladimir Putin is not responsible for any deaths. Russia has abolished capital punishment, so, as a leader of the nation, Putin isn't responsible even for the deathS of criminals for they are no longer executed. But since we are at it, let me ask you this…Did Obama smile or laugh when he was interviewed about illegal interventions in Syria and Ukraine that combined resulted in dozens of thousands of deaths? Did he smile or he'd when he approved a drone strike that killed an American citizen (with his kids being the “collateral damage” of the attack? How about Nuland when she was caught red-handed plotting what turned out to be a bloody coup in Ukraine? Did she smile or laugh? How about Bill Clinton when he illegally bombed Yugoslavia decreasing one of the most advanced Eastern European countries into ruins with so called “referedum” in Kosovo that turned a once peaceful region into a hub of international drug and human organ trade? How about Bush when he illegally invaded Iraq on a pretense that was proven many times over to have been false. Is he smiling or preparing for the trial for the crimes that were committed on his orders? How about Hillary when she was an accessory to murder of Gaddafi, the murder of US ambassador turning a once prosperous African country into a nest of international terrorism? Oh, but we know that one. Sje didn't just smile. She laughed homerically - “we came, we saw, he died”.Are you an American or a resident of one of the once proud countries that reduced to be nothing but a subject to yankistan’s vassalage? If so, you should be disgusted at what your country has reduced to, not asking provocative Putin questions

Why don't Russians smile?

We do smile. The Instagram age made Russians, especially the young and affluent among us, to smile much more than before. We’re not on the American level yet, but firmly ahead of Finns, and sometimes even kick the Germans’ behinds.Traditionally, smiles were considered in our culture too precious a thing to waste on strangers and photo cameras. We discovered this long before the fashion photographers: the colder face you wear, the more power you project. Jesus and saints on our icons were all as somber as the nuclear winter—and we, in all our imperfection, tried to take after them.Smiles in the old Russia and the Soviet Union were for informal occasions, when there are few or no strangers around. And for propaganda! The sunny fellow on the Soviet WW2 posters below who I referenced in my other posting, was modeled by the artist after a real-life marksman Vasíliy Gólosov. (By the time of the earliest of these posters, he was already dead, struck in summer 1943 by a shell splinter in the eastern Ukraine, so he didn’t make it to Berlin). Before his death, Vasiliy made himself famous by over 400 kills, and became a darling of Soviet war photographers. The artist used their published work to glean the hero’s portrait. Yet, despite the many photos, he had to use his imagination to represent that million-dollar smile. In real-life Leonid was a genuine Russian grim-faced hero. Here is the most smiley photo of him, after a heavy dose of pre-industrial photoshopping:(This is the original document photo, published later:)Another artist who drew his portrait short time before his death, didn’t manage to squeeze much joy out of Vassily either:
