Does Sending Mark Sanford Back To Congress Mean Conservatives Don

I have a ring marked 14k gml. what does gml mean?

It's "imitation" gold leaf.

-GML is an alloy of copper and zinc and is produced in four colours numbered 1, 2, 2-1/2, and 3 with 1 being most red (more copper) and 3 being most yellow (more zinc). It is cut into 5 inch squares. If gold leaf is the thickness of newsprint, then GML is the thickness of matboard. Whereas gold leaf can be water gilded and burnished, GML can only be oil gilded and cannot be burnished. It must be sealed to prevent discoloration due to corrosion. Since GML is brass, it will never have the depth or reflectiveness of genuine gold.

Has any conservative politician ever truly practiced fiscal responsibility or reduced the size of government?

Yes. Calvin Coolidge did both, and reduced the size of our national debt. Eisenhower while not reducing the size of government did try to practice fiscal responsibility.

Will another conservative supreme court justice, who strictly follows the constitution, ever be confirmed?

What you are really asking for is a judicial activist who will put the Bible before the Constitution and the answer is hell no. Trump and co are a one term blunder. America is getting younger, less white, more educated, more secular and as a result much more liberal. That’s actually the way it is supposed to be. Look at the original words on our money. In God We Trust, that’s not original, scrap that. The original stuff E Pluribus Unim, Out of Many One! or Novo Ordo Seclorum, New Secular Order.., that’s right we were always supposed to be the New Secular Order. The country that allowed people to be free to follow their own star, that wasn’t founded on a religion. The one that didn’t allow religious leaders to harm or jail people because they didn’t worship just the right way. We’re all a little tired of some noisy Christians who do too much telling other people how to live when they themselves don’t do enough practicing what is taught in the Gospels themselves, so knock it off!

Is the Democratic Party morally superior to Republicans and libertarians?

Democrats like to think they are morally superior because they "care about the poor."  They express their care with sincere words and loving platitudes and then spend someone else's money, e.g., the taxpayer's.  Then they hammer on the taxpayer, telling him he is stingy; they also tell the non-working welfare recipient that everyone else isn't paying their fair share.  Finally, they administer the welfare using underpaid government employees whose first loyalty is to their public employee union. So the net effect of the Democrats' delivery of care for the poor is:An angry giver (the taxpayer); An ungrateful recipient (individuals on public assistance);Disgruntled program administrators (underpaid, unionized public employees); The wrong people taking credit (Democratic politicians). The easiest job in the world is spending someone else's money, and getting paid to do it.  The most arrogant people in the world are those who spend someone else's money yet act as if the generosity was their own -- read Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Elizabeth Warren, and Barack Obama here.  In a nutshell, that is why I believe that most bleeding-heart Democratic politicians are hypocrites.  They bask in adulation that they do not deserve.Give me the personal freedom that comes with being a Republican any day.

What would be the Fox Entertainment headline if Donald Trump had to resign or was impeached?

MIKE PENCE BECOMES 46th U.S. PRESIDENTThere’s just no way they'd spend much air time bemoaning the fall of Trump. It would all be about the rise of Pence. (But they wouldn’t mention the fall of an America that at one time was becoming kind, decent, and loving toward all.)I don’t think Fox News, or any seriously conservative person or organization likes Trump. He’s not a conservative. He’s an asshole. He’s a distraction. He’s unpredictable. His ridiculous behavior will keep them from making any serious “conservative progress.” (And by “progress” I mean “regression” to about a century ago.)A DREAM PRESIDENT: Pence, on the other hand, would be the perfect guy to sign his name to every mean-spirited bill a Republican Congress could conceive. In fact, as governor, he invented mean-spirited programs. He’d send his own bills to Congress, which would pass them, and he’d sign them into law. In contrast, Trump invents insane programs and much what he’s tried to sign into law has been blocked by Federal court. Trump’s a lunatic and they know it.The entire GOP, as well as Fox and their viewers would be thrilled beyond words to have Mike Pence replace #45 ASAP. I’m going to guess that he’s scandal free. And I know that he’s smart and articulate, which means he’ll appoint a smart and articulate press secretary and real politicians will flock back to the Cabinet and advisory posts. And he and the GOP Congress could begin rolling back decades of human social advances we’ve made.THEY WOULDN’T MISS TRUMP: I would expect Fox to spend very little time reflecting on Trump. He wasn’t good for them. The sooner forgotten, the better off their nefarious plans would be.Instead, they’d get busy passing bills to start moving us backward, trying to return us to an era when everyone who isn’t a white, Christian, straight, male “knew their place,” or got jailed or shot if they didn’t.RADICAL CHRISTIANITY: Fox and the Christian right would be overjoyed with the possibilities of turning America into a Christian version of a radical Islamic Middle Eastern kingdom, getting gay marriage banned, telling women what to do with their bodies, overturning environmental advancements, and shutting down civil rights progress.People tend to hate the qualities in others that they see in themselves, which is why they hate anyone who promotes a radical version of any religion that isn’t their form of Christianity. Because the GOP version of Christianity is not about love, it’s about power.

What were the major takeaways of the 2018 midterm elections?

If you look at the history of our elections, you will see that the turnout hasn’t approached 50% of eligible voters since the 60s[1]. This year, the early estimate for what the turnout was is 48%.[2] That can likely be credited to Trump.Democrats do well in high-turnout elections. This is why they were able to overcome the serious structural challenges they have and take the House.Another way to say the same thing is that the Democratic coalition contains the flakiest voters. There is no reason to assume and expect that turnout will remain at these stratospheric (for the US) levels in future midterms. The popular vote margin by which Democrats won this round is something like 7%! That is huge. You can’t expect such numbers to be replicable in every or even most elections. To put that into perspective, that would be like expecting every election to go the way of 2008.Most states are currently red. This gives Republicans a structural advantage that will be hard for Democrats to overcome.Whatever the final tally ends up being, 54–46, 53–47, or even 52–48, Democrats will have a hard time taking back control of the Senate in 2020. Of course, this will be a lot more doable if the races in Arizona and Florida end up being called for the party. The Midwest strongly moved away from Republicans this year. If the popular votes goes in 2020 exactly how it went this year, this is the map we’ll get:And this is what you get if you subtract 6 percentage points from the Democrats’ popular vote margins in House races:[3]Unless Trump’s popularity increases between now and 2020, he’s going to have a hard time keeping the presidency.Footnotes[1] national-1789-present - United States Elections Project[2] Midterm turnout surges to 50-year high, early estimates show[3] The 2018 Map Looked A Lot Like 2012 … And That Got Me Thinking About 2020

Why is Obama siding with socialist and outright communist leaders regarding Honduran President?

The Honduran Supreme court had declared Honduran Pres. Zelaya attempt to extend his Presidency past the two term limit unconstitutional. It is completely understandable that Hugo Chavez of Venezuela support this move as would Castro's support be expected. But why is Obama supporting this want a be President for Life.
Does Zelaya have the support of the Honduran people or just left-wing rulers in Venezuela, Ecuador, Cuba, Nicaragua and United States?
