What is a chai "creme" frappuccino at Starbucks?
Every time I go to Starbucks, I order a chai frappuccino, and most of the time when they repeat it back to me, they call it a chai "creme" frappuccino. And now I'm starting to wonder if I'm supposed to specify what kind of chai I want? Sometimes I get ones that come out more creme-tasting than chai... I tried asking for a "spiced" chai, but she got confused and thought I said "iced." Are there different types of chai frappuccinos you can order? How can I make sure my drink gets enough chai flavor?

If I were to order a "spiced chai frappuccino" instead of a chai creme frappuccino, would they make it any differently? Like is that a real drink, or did I just make that up? I'm asking because whenever I order a chai frappuccino, my local Starbucks will correct me and call it a chai creme... and what do you know, it comes out tasting more like creme than anything. I want it to taste more like chai though, so would it help to ask for a spiced chai?

First timer? Rare these days... haha...starbucks is kind of a different language, especially when the small is called "tall"...? Out of those three the Vanilla bean is the best. Strawberry is good, but I personally don't care for chai, so I don't like that one. And the sizes are tall (small), grande (medium) and venti (large) So you would say "A grande (or tall or venti) vanilla bean frappuccino" No need to say blended creme. :] hope this helped.

A short latte. Every other size latte at Starbucks is basically invalid - the ratio of milk to coffee is absurd. The short latte is the perfect ratio and is closer to what you’d get in real coffee places in Italy.

Is Starbucks in trouble?
After reading some of the statements made by Mr. Johnson and some others I must say, I am starting to believe that yes, they are. Starbucks opens 400 new stores every year, but we’re going to close 150 next year too. Is it just me, or is that counterintuitive? And rather than open 400 new stores, why not invest that capital into stores that are already open? Why not try adding some extra labor to the already struggling staffs? So people can be appropriately serviced? And what is this malarkey about the decline of the frappuccino since 2015 being a result of “not enough innovation”?! In the last year and a half, the frappuccino recipe has changed, what, four separate times?! The unicorn frappuccino was disgusting but everyone and their mom wanted one and we ran out of product in 48 hours. Not well planned. And that flavor reinvention, everyone hated it. That’s why the drinks aren’t selling, because you changed them so much not because you didn’t change them enough. And what is up with these new menu boards?! Out of five panels, only ONE OF THEM has menu items and sizes with prices listed, the other four are all ads. More than 3/4 of our menu isn’t even on the dang menu. Is this rocket science?
