Does The Samsung Gt-e1195 Work In The States

Will a Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone purchased in the USA work in China?

if your phone is not locked to a specfic network, it will work fine with phone calls and texts with a chinese sim card, but data function may be limited depends on which telecom you choose.iirc the NA verison of galaxy s4 is a FDD-LTE phone that is also compatable with WCDMA and GSM.you wont be able to use any of china's 4G network since they are all on TD-LTE, and you wont be able to use China Mobile's 3G network since it is on TD-SCDMA, and you wont be able to use China Telecom's CDMA2000 network.so make sure you get a SIM card from China Unicom. your phone will work with their WCDMA network for 3G speed data. if you use CM or CT, you will only get EDGE speed data which will be painful.

How does the galaxy work? I know how the solar system works but just that.

Will someone who cares really inform me how the Galaxy works? I know how the solar system works but that's just thatThere is so much that could be said about our Galaxy.Just as the planets of the solar system are gravitionally-bound to and orbiting the mass of the solar system (over 99% of which is in the Sun), the Milky Way galaxy is a collection of 100 billion to 400 billion stars, planets, black holes, etc gravitationally bound to their center of mass (that bright bulge in the middle). The center of the galaxy almost certainly contains a super massive blackhole which has accumulated from many black holes, stars, gases, etc being drawn together where objects were closest. The entire galaxy rotates around this center with high orbital speeds. For example, Earth orbits the Sun at about 30 km/s while the Sun orbits around the center of the galaxy at about 230 km/s.The Milky Way galaxy disk is about 100,000 light years across and our Sun orbits at about 26,000 light years from the center. One full rotation (galactic year) is about 240 million years.Other stars also orbit around the center with some variation in speed and direction, causing some stars to get closer and further from our Sun over time. Right now the closest is Proxima Centauri at a distance of 4.22 light years. The speed at which our galactic disk rotates is faster than it should be if we only add up the mass we can detect: stars, planets, moons, comets, asteroids, blackholes, gas clouds, brown dwarfs, etc. Latest estimates predict the Milky Way has 3 to 4 times more gravitational mass than visible mass, and this excess gravitation is hypothesized as “dark matter” by many scientists, although we have no solid evidence for the cause of the faster than expected rotation rate.Recent planet-finding telescope programs have found hundreds of exoplanets orbiting our neighboring stars and it seems likely that the Milky Way with its 100’s of billions of stars has trillions of planets making non-terrestrial life a high probability.
