Does Windows 8 Have Any Issues With Adb Drivers

Does Windows 8 Have Gaming Issues?

With windows 8 microsoft is trying to jump into the tablet field by ignoring the user pc in favor of a tablet os with tablet games. to that end, the pc version is clunky and has lots of issues, as it was DESIGNED TO. remember, they want you to go buy a windows 8 tablet and end up paying 400 for the tablet and 200 for a case with a keyboard from them, so they don't have any reason to make a fully functional pc os. the only thing that will give u fully functional games is the microsoft app store (or whatever their lawyers made them call it so apple can't sue them for using apple trademarks). in short, don't expect to get a good gaming pc out of an 8- if ur on vista, its def worth it cuz it works better than vista for even gaming at currently like 60 dollars, but 7 or xp users should stay where they are.

Yes, Windows 8.1 will still support floppy disks. Part of the reason Windows has been so successful is because of backwards compatibility with both legacy hardware and software, I don’t see Microsoft removing a flopping disk driver any time soon. I would however make sure the manufacturer of the floppy disk reader provides a driver for Windows 8.1 just in case the generic driver provided by Microsoft does not work with the reader. However it would be much more cost effective to buy a USB flash drive for backups instead. You could buy a USB 3.0 hub for the new computer (For example: Vibob 5.25 Internal 2 Ports USB Hub Usb 3.0 Computer Optical Front Panel) and a USB 3.0 Flash Drive (For example: Samsung 32GB BAR (METAL) USB 3.0 Flash Drive (MUF-32BA/AM)) and have thousands of times more space and transfer speeds hundreds of times faster than a floppy disk.

Yes that problem is because of the device driver, many of the device drivers made for windows 7 won't work on 8 , yes the softwares do but not the drivers, that's why many people are able to install the software but aren't able to connect deviceBetter if you try to update the device driver but best option is to go to the site and update the pc suite/ sync manager whatever it is called, don't forget to check requirements windows 8 support. Thats it.That solved the problem for me on my android devices

Every operating system has driver issues. Not just Windows. Why do driver issues exist?Because, the operating system developers and hardware developers are mostly different parties. Consider Windows. Microsoft makes the operating system which has to run on hardware made by Intel, Samsung, Broadcom, Realtek, Microdia etc. They are the big players of the semiconductor industry, who have proprietary rights over their hardware design and functioning. Now, these manufacturers want to sell their hardware. But a hardware is of no use without mature software. So, Microsoft or other software vendors partner with these hardware developers over some software using which they can interact, which is called driver. Making a driver is a tedious task, requires lot of experience and knowledge about the hardware. Moreover, the task becomes a lot more tedious when the driver has to be kept updated for long to make it work with newer versions of the operating system. Here, the issue arises. Many times, the drivers are either not available or similar drivers are made so that not just one, but a range of hardware can be supported with similar driver. This also causes hardware to under-perform or misbehave because every hardware is different. This is usually the problem with newer devices, which are not widespread or the support for which is limited. How do manufacturers tackle it?They usually have similar / assured hardware installed over their devices to assure maximum compatibility. Most of the manufacturers provide driver downloads over they website so that the customers can get the authentic software for their hardware, which is compatible with the operating system.Now-a-days, they try to use generic interfaces, like USB to support a lot of devices over single interface. There are various drivers marked as ‘generic’ which works for not just a specific hardware, but a class of hardware.Which companies don’t have such issues/have least issues?Apple has a decent record of handling such issues. They are usually the designers of their own hardware. Moreover, they include hardware from other manufacturers only after assuring the quality and performance of the hardware, both in terms of software (drivers) and hardware. The same applies to most of the mobile phone manufacturers.

AMD’s recommendation for the HD 4250 is to use the drivers provided by Windows Update.Driver Support for AMD Radeon™ HD 4000, HD 3000, HD 2000 and older SeriesThis is a very slow video card — no amount of fiddling with drivers is going to change that. For a reference, NVidia’s current entry-level GPU, the GTX 1050, is about 25x faster.

I’ve never had any issues with that. One issue I HAVE had has nothing to do with Windows and EVERYTHING to do with my video card, a Gigabyte 3GB Nvidia GTX 780. 4K requires HDMI version 2.0. I have an HDMI 2.0 cable and I can get 4K resolutions on my 4K TV…sort of. The screen randomly goes to black as the signal cuts out and then comes back every 20 seconds to a minute. After tons of research and headache, I discovered that my video card’s HDMI ports may only be HDMI 1.4. The specs for the GTX 980 list HDMI 2.0 but the GTX 780 only says “HDMI” leading me to suspect that it is version 1.4. I also noticed with great anger that my motherboard only supports PCIe version 2.0 while my GTX 780 is PCIe 3.0. AGHHHHH! That really does not make a big difference for most things, but for some video production/3D rendering stuff I do, it makes a HUGE difference.Maybe that helped?

NetTalk driver for Windows 8?

Windows 8 actually installs all drivers needed though i agree with others, windows 8 has some compatability issues still with printer for example and other software, has no support if run into trouble and consider this main point, no uninstall, well the developer preview hadn't! So if decide go back to windows 7 you need to either re-install or be able to use and remove partitions etc. A word to the wiser too, copy your windows 7 license on paper as it will disappear and mcrosoft will not give it back for free:( Personally i think is garbage, too long winded, only any good appeared to me if you use a touch screen computer, and too memory hungry and all said and done, no improvement on 7 and the menu sytem is awful, took hours finding things which before took seconds:( Your choice but a pile of rubbish with too many issues!
