How do you start the tournament in yu gi oh sacred cards?
After Kaiba is done with his speech, walk around Clock Tower Square and find Yugi, Mai, Mako, Weevil, and Bonz. Press the R button (challenge to a duel) when you are in front of them. They will refuse to duel with you and then they will walk off. After all five of them walk off, go back to the place with a clock and try to leave the area. The game will freeze and duelists will walk in. After they are all done talking, the tournament will start.

You win a Sneak Peak and take home that event the same way you win everything else...Practice. Here are the steps required to practice for a sneak peak event:Download YGOPRO Automated Duel System (It's Free)Use the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia to see the setlist for the set you want to practice.Copy it (make sure it's the TCG, unless you're Japanese)Paste it into Microsoft ExcelDelete all columns except Rarity and NameSort it by Rarity Column (this can be found in the data column)Add a new column with numbers from 1 - 103 (the usual TCG set size)You will get 9 cards, normally 1 rare and 8 commons.To replicate this use the formula "=RANDBETWEEN(1,53)" five times. There's your 5 rares. Use the formula "=RANDBETWEEN(54,103)" forty times. There's your commons.Put those cards into YGoPro. Build a deck.Practice.Once you get the hang of it, repeat from steps 9 by highlighting the formulas and hitting Enter.Other tips:The deck minimum is 20 in a Sneak Peak. Do not make a 20 card deck, a lot of Sneak Peak duels tend to deck out, go for 25 or 27. Even if they don't work, you'll win a lot of games by default by your opponent not being able to draw.Read the Extra Deck cards. They're not normally useful, but they usually have higher stats. Yes, if you know what you are getting into,In my experience it boils down to an OTK deck that wants to end the game very fast, but ironically it takes some setupYou have 2 objectives:Build up a bunch of “Ancient Gear” monsters in your hand or fieldHave access to some form of fusion, which is usually Ancient Gear Hunting HoundYour game plan is to generally get out Ancient Gear Wyvern by drawing it or summoning it by popping Ancient Gear Fortress or Geartown with something like Ancient Gear Catapult or your favourite spell trap removalThen when you get it out, activate its effect and search Ancient Gear Box. Then activate box’s effect to search Ancient Gear Gadget so now you have 3 “Ancient Gear” monsters ready to go.Finally, (ideally) get Ancient Gear Hunting Hound onto the field and fusion for Chaos Ancient Gear Giant and try to OTK.Granted the deck has some other plays like Ancient Gear Howitzer that floats into Ancient Gear Golem to buy time but the win condition of this deck is definitely Chaos Ancient Gear Giant.All the cards work well together and feel like they were meant to work together. It’s quite fun to play and frankly Chaos Ancient Gear Giant is so damn OP and runs over pretty much everything.It’s not bad deck by any means so if you want to try it, I say go for it.
How do I find people who play Yu-Gi-Oh near me?
There are a lot of ways to find other people who play the game. The most obvious way is to look at the OFFICIAL WEBSITE because it has what is known as an OTS locator. The locator searches for Official Tournament Stores, which host sanctioned events. Although this method might be obvious, there are some flaws such as Konami neglecting to update it regularly. As Rajarshi said, you can play yugioh duel links and search for people but personally I don't play that. The most effective method is to look on places like Facebook, Twitter, etc for yugioh groups that might exist in your area or county. As it is, most locals tournaments or hosting locations aren't sanctioned because Konami doesn't like to do anything particularly fast or because the stores in question simply arent interested so these groups are a big help. My area for instance has 3 locations within aren't sanctioned but all fall within 30 miles or so of eachother.
